INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Flash LT30p_9.1.A.1.145.ftf LT30p_9.1.A.1.145.ftf
2: Root DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit
3: Install CWM for locked bootloaders CWM v8 installer for JB
4: Go to recovery and wipe data (factory reset),cache and dalvik cache
5: Flash: LT30p_XPERIA Z1_9.1.A.1.145.zip
6: Reboot.
7: Enjoy

- Settings app simply closes (no fc) when tapping the "More..." button below wifi and bluetooth settings. Looks like a system apk is missing?
- Navbar glitches.. But these are typical for Z1 Taskswitcher port
- Some Xperia dialog windows also create a strange white frame in the background..
Didn't test the rom much longer, but except for these bugs it's pretty cool.. I especially love the white volume popup!

Xperia Z2 Smart call handling , the Z does not

Why would "4k video recording" be working on our phone? Isn't this a hardware limitation?

U can get all these work..cause i manage exept for the timshift video and 4k its not possible for now but dev is in wip....even in z1 its not that fully working yet need some work again

[Q] walkman app not accessible

Hi
Recently I flashed the media apps of Sony xperia z2 to my rooted z1 by installing the zip file using twrp recovery. However on porting I found that the Walkman app has gone off the app grid but is still there in the app list in settings>apps>all apps.
Also found that the movies app force closes. On going through the thread I came to know that there was a problem in the zip file.
Id like to know how to get the Walkman app back on to the app menu so that I can access my music again.thanks in advance

You'll need original media apps to make it works again. What is your firmware version? I can upload them if you need it.

I didn't know we have that app on market...
So, yeah , basically it's same thing but it's not working every time.
Sometimes app can't activate and nothing happens but when it's working it's working great...
Tnx for sharing...
One idea, maybe to try to add all libraries from smar calling (Z2) and use them eith this app, that could maybe fix those issues...

For me almost every other call won't work...
So , it's 50% successful
I don't get toast msg "activated" and it doesn't work.
But as soon as I repeat call from other devico - it's working...
That's something developer explained on market (app info).

Thanks for sharing this as funky also said the other Z2 smart call handling port doesn't work the whole time I'll try this out and revert on results

There's aslo one nice app from same devekopers - "smart screen" and "motion actions" so you could check that too...

alright this app works flawlessly I also tried the other apps from the same developer they work just fine
Do you have any idea how can I remove the gestures one that we installed from the Z2 port? I flashed it from recovery but I don't know how to remove it. Because this app is much better than that one

Why?
I flash those lib and apk files after I installed this app from market.
It can only be advantage to have those files
If you have app smart calling just uninstall it.
If you still want to "uninstall" all files you've flashed.
Open that zip file on PC (or on phone but it's easier to compare when you open it on other device/PC)
And you'll see what files you should delete.
Delete them and that's all

So you're saying that the files from the flashable smart call handling Z2 port will help this app from the google play store? if I remove them the app we both installed from google play store won't work?
I would like to remove it because anyway it's not working the whole time and I don't like extra files on my device lol

I am ready to use my m7 with a skin (if can't have a port rom), but can someone help me ?

Just a few user working on xperia cross device ports and I stopped it a long time ago, too.
As I know there no full port or full theme from xperia UI.
BTW I love the xperia UI almost as I love Sense.
I promise so much thing nowdays but i don't have time for any of these.
But (not a promise) if i have some time i'll try to make a Z2 or Z3 full port for our M7.
