I didn't know we have that app on market...
So, yeah , basically it's same thing but it's not working every time.
Sometimes app can't activate and nothing happens but when it's working it's working great...
Tnx for sharing...
One idea, maybe to try to add all libraries from smar calling (Z2) and use them eith this app, that could maybe fix those issues...

For me almost every other call won't work...
So , it's 50% successful
I don't get toast msg "activated" and it doesn't work.
But as soon as I repeat call from other devico - it's working...
That's something developer explained on market (app info).

Thanks for sharing this as funky also said the other Z2 smart call handling port doesn't work the whole time I'll try this out and revert on results

There's aslo one nice app from same devekopers - "smart screen" and "motion actions" so you could check that too...

Hi Funky,
alright this app works flawlessly I also tried the other apps from the same developer they work just fine
Do you have any idea how can I remove the gestures one that we installed from the Z2 port? I flashed it from recovery but I don't know how to remove it. Because this app is much better than that one

Why?
I flash those lib and apk files after I installed this app from market.
It can only be advantage to have those files
If you have app smart calling just uninstall it.
If you still want to "uninstall" all files you've flashed.
Open that zip file on PC (or on phone but it's easier to compare when you open it on other device/PC)
And you'll see what files you should delete.
Delete them and that's all

So you're saying that the files from the flashable smart call handling Z2 port will help this app from the google play store? if I remove them the app we both installed from google play store won't work?
I would like to remove it because anyway it's not working the whole time and I don't like extra files on my device lol

Is this an known isseu and is there an workarround for this?

Please say on what rom you are, for further help.
whatsapp isnt compatible,too.
European Stock rom ICS 4.03, rooted. (rooted or unrooterd, no different outcome within this issue)
Those apps.. working fine one the previous version of Galaxy Tab 10.1
So I think is has something to do with the version of android 4.03
The different thing with whatsapp is, that play store tells me in advance that its not compatible with my device, so i cant download it. Those other apps i can download and they start. After start up the message appears.

That's odd, because my P5110 device with stock rooted ROM let me install and play PES12.
However I know what you mean. Recently I bought NFL Pro 2012, but right after the installation a pop-up message told me this game wasn't compatible with my device.
I figured that it has something to do with CM9 which my device ran at that moment. I haven't re-installed this game after I went to stock again, but when I do I share my findings.
[EDIT] Still don't manage to install the game. There is a pop-up telling me to request a refund so I will contact the developer.
Maybe its the entry in the build.prop? I think the app doesnt recognize the device as ok, thats because it works on different roms.
Just an idea...

Yeah it appears some Carrier branded roms have the Stock browser. I know O2 Ireland included it with their version.

I heard that before, many people have the stock browser too!!! I can't understand why. Sony decided to exclude it from many regions.
jb has chrome as stock from what I understand..
come across a snag, chrome is using the same name, so will need removing
I don't have root so can't test that.

Sorted out the problem (was trying to do it in Windows, now I'm back on a proper OS it's fairly simple to fix )
so here's a working Browser. .
Works for me at least!

try removing data/app/chrome apk (in case you updated it)
and data/data/com.android.browser.provider
maybe even data/data/com.android.browser although that should get overwritten..
If not can you get me a logcat? it didn't even need a reboot here.

well, i have already removed chrome through titanium backup, so uninstalled, nothing to be done there
renamed both files you said, and then tried installing the APK which won't install ...
about logcat, need to search how to do that

Worked for me, cheers. I was crashing initially but a restart sorted it. Nice to have the proper browser back. Was missing Quick Controls.
So I fixed my Xperia... But I have another problem... Go figure... The NFC on my device won't turn on. I can tick the little box but then it never really loads and allow me to use it or look at settings... I tried to do that whole rename the USF folder but I don't have that. -.-
I'm currently running the Avatar ROM...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys so much in advance... I just can't catch a break...

Nfc menu is available but nothing happens when I activate it
And u did try the nfc fix? U should have somewhere that folder he speaks of. By me it was under root data and then the folder. I would check every folder u see in root explorer and click on it until u spot the folder u either delete or rename that one folder like in the video.

I flashed the latest CM10.1 nighly (20130603-NIGHLY-YUGA), and after that NFC no longer works. I can check the NFC setting, but it never activates. I'm currently not rooted so the suggested video is of no use. Any other ideas on how to resolve this issue?

It's strange we can only choose 2 scene modes (night and action I think) and the icons and names doesn't fit. So I decided to install this one to check if the issue was solved here, but it doesn't. It worked on my Z, photosphere used to force close, now its perfect. Thanks a lot mate...BTW it merges on my old camera app, no other camera is present. I'm on a PA 3.6 ROM

I flashed the zip in recovery and it did replace my CM10.1 camera. Haven't tried manually dragging files files over to see if it would make a difference. I currently have the older Photosphere running side by side with the CM10.1 camera. I installed this version by manually dragging files and setting read write permissions.

Same as you, now installed GAPPS from recovery could fix this...
but each time now reboot got a message "Android is upgrading" and now I am going to reflash the ROM....

You don't need anything in that zip except the gallery apk on 4.2.2.
The libs already exist and work fine as does gmscore

It's quite simple by the way u don't need an apk all u need to do is go to your home screen and swipe down so Hisearch opens then type screen recorder and it should have an option to restore!!
