It's quite simple by the way u don't need an apk all u need to do is go to your home screen and swipe down so Hisearch opens then type screen recorder and it should have an option to restore!!

Install GAPPS then... or just search for the .apk using Google
OR take a look at this thread... This has the Google Edition phones' Gallery and Camera app.. I use them both and I recommend these two for you...

I didn't know we have that app on market...
So, yeah , basically it's same thing but it's not working every time.
Sometimes app can't activate and nothing happens but when it's working it's working great...
Tnx for sharing...
One idea, maybe to try to add all libraries from smar calling (Z2) and use them eith this app, that could maybe fix those issues...

but as of now all functions working great i try still now with 10-15 calls lets hope if any bugs will fix here so thanks again

For me almost every other call won't work...
So , it's 50% successful
I don't get toast msg "activated" and it doesn't work.
But as soon as I repeat call from other devico - it's working...
That's something developer explained on market (app info).

Thanks for sharing this as funky also said the other Z2 smart call handling port doesn't work the whole time I'll try this out and revert on results

There's aslo one nice app from same devekopers - "smart screen" and "motion actions" so you could check that too...

alright this app works flawlessly I also tried the other apps from the same developer they work just fine
Do you have any idea how can I remove the gestures one that we installed from the Z2 port? I flashed it from recovery but I don't know how to remove it. Because this app is much better than that one

Why?
I flash those lib and apk files after I installed this app from market.
It can only be advantage to have those files
If you have app smart calling just uninstall it.
If you still want to "uninstall" all files you've flashed.
Open that zip file on PC (or on phone but it's easier to compare when you open it on other device/PC)
And you'll see what files you should delete.
Delete them and that's all

So you're saying that the files from the flashable smart call handling Z2 port will help this app from the google play store? if I remove them the app we both installed from google play store won't work?
I would like to remove it because anyway it's not working the whole time and I don't like extra files on my device lol

Which file?
Smart phone is on market and ported app from Z2 is in themes and apps section or in cros section, can't remember...

I got to install the home and the search, but when I press the home button, nothing happens. I opened the app Google Now Launcher and all it said was that trebuchet was my default launcher. So I went to settings and I didn't even have trebuchet as default.
I had downloaded nova after and when I pressed the home, only nova and trebuchet are showing up...

Same thing happened to me at first when I tried choosing the default home screen. Afyer i exited the home option I went back into it again and the Google Now launcher appeared there then. Awesome launcher!!

Figured it out. I had to install the latest version of Google Play Store and it worked like charm.

Play store or services??
Looks sweet. Love the new launcher. Now how do I get those icons installed? Those zips just have the png files. I've only ever gotten icons from icon packs via an apk.
Ermmm is this the one where the app drawer has a white background? Cause I don't see any changes after installing

Thanks. I went ahead and flashed the zip and it works great. If another ota comes out will I have to do it again or will it stay? If its an apk does it stick with a new ota flash? Thanks.
I think but i'm not sure, if a new ota it's available she upgrade the playstore. The method of the first install isn't important
before updating to nougat i was able to install older version of huawei music which allows me to download free music but now when i install an older version it says "the app package seems to be courpt"!!

Yes , u have to root and disable apk signature verification using lucky patcher . I could not recommend apps that can crack something as cracked or pirated stuff are not allowed on xda

It is installed. It's just disabled. If you try to reinstall it, the package installer will still detect the disabled app.
titanium backup is best app fot this kind of stuff. no need 2 use lucky patchers etc.... just freeze app and delete it on titanium backup.

I did that now but when i go to phone setting>apps i found it disabled!
Now i cant find it on titanium backup
And when i try to install the.older version it says the package seems to be courpt

Install any root explorer, then navigate to /system/app and find Music app there. If not look for it in /system/priv-app. Delete it. Then navigate to /data/data and look for the package name of Music and delete it as well.

You missed messages app it crashes too.
Unfortunately we don't have a solution for it. Root breaks functionality of those apps.
