No need to rename if you dont want to install through recovery than copy both files BPP and 999Switch after extracting 999switch through ES FileExplorer and paste it in /system/etc/init.d then change permissions of both to rwx-rx-rx and reboot
but so it is starting every boot...and if something is going wrong....it is crashing perhaps...so i would test before ONLY starting the script (not in init.d folder), but i think with the needet bpp file testing is not working...??

PORTING
Download LeWa OS base ROM here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1451850
Download thekraven's CM7 (you can try one of the ZVH basebands) i have use the cm from sub !
Open up both in an archive manager (7zip, winrar, etc.) i use android kitchen
Delete apps, framework, and media from the CM7 ROM ONLY
Replace these files with the one's from LeWa.
You will boot.. lol.
UPDATING
You will need to monitor the LeWa OS ROM carefully and look for updates
When an update comes out, simply download it and replace the framework, apps, and media folders just like the porting process. This will keep it up to date.
When an update comes out for a new CM7, simply download the new CM7, delete the apps, framework, and media folder and replace with LeWa ones.
Note that if an update for CM7 comes out and it has some edits to the framework, this will not have the same fix. But all the basic fixes; such as if MMS gets fixed, will work.

What if we're using squad's os? there are necessary apk's for his port, instead of deleting all apks, can I just replace the files so that other apk's that shouldn't be touched will still remain?
Delete only 3 folders in cm7. App, framework and media, and now copy the 3 folder app, framework and media from the lewarom into ur cm 7. Thats done

Ok. I ported it and signed the zip. Flashed. Booted. Dint like the ROM so much. The icons look crappy. Cant check currency balance with no.'s like *123#. Most of it has CM7 apps. Its totally similar to CM7 only the user Interface is different.
The status bar looks cool and the memory killing apps are fine. Memory info (avail/total) 177MB/279 MB after killing. Btw ty for tutorial. Can you give the original link of the tutorial pls?

Yes it should be compatible with CM9/FXP....but whats the blackscreen bug? Do you mean the Frontcamera bug? because everything else i am not aware of
The Camera in the Latest FXP Build shows a black screen.

What's the base of your kernel? Up until recently at least, the FXP kernel was badly broken and ate battery life like a fat bird eats cake. If you've got this sorted it might be time for me to take another look.

as far as i know its in the xperia kernel so my kernel should have it to, its the same, i just added some governors
Unfortunately you have inherited the DHCP-problem CM9 is having with the last releases. I can't get an IP on WiFi with DHCP just like on FXP122 and 123. I hope the fix that soon.

Doesn't work. I can't set the unlock pattern either it seems. And please, in the next version turn on the USB debugging by default. It helps so much in solving problems.
Still, respect for jumping in to the cold water. I still can't get up enough courage, to try and build my own custom ROM. Keep up the great work!

video recorder and panorama is broken in fxp
won't work neither with this custom kernel
if you want videorecorder and ICS, you need to flash official ICS or the MIUI one
Just installed, feels awesome. Hardware keyboard works only in english and won't change layout by hardware button - and buttons won't match. Symvols menu won't pop up (hardware button for it). Hope that will be fixed. I'll be able to post images if you want.

What is the difference between this ROM and the one on MIUI site?
They stole and used pengus77's work without his permission. Following this community since more than a year (and working since a few months), I know how much he has contributed to the O2x community, and hence I have the highest respect for him. So I never use pengus77's work without his consent. In short, this ROM has been ported with his permission
I also plan to remove Xiaomi related stuff from the ROM in the final release as much as I can.
This is a beta version, so some stuff may not work.
Q. So why did you post it?
A.
1. I dont have the time to test all the features in a detailed manner so I am relying on the testers to give feedback. I tested calls, wifi, app installation etc.
2. KoolSavas and I live in regions with different time zones, so most of the time, we are not online at the same time. This also serves as a mechanism for us to share our work, and encourage other testers to dig up as many initial bugs as possible
Known issues have been listed in the post and dont need to be restated
Firstly, I want to thank Ricardo for all his work on CM for our phone. Since this ROM uses CM10 as base, it would not be possible without RC's work.
This ROM has been ported to the O2x from various other devices having official MIUI support (such as the Nexus S, Photon, Atrix etc.) and the MIUI team deserves credit for all of that.
This would not be possible without pengus77 and the other devs who brought CM10 to the new bootloader. His thread is here. His latest build of CM10 for the new bootloader was used as the base ROM
Kowalski kernel is the recommended kernel for this ROM. The ROM doesnt come with the kernel included, so flash it separately

For use with NEW unlocked ICS bootloader only, tested with TWRP (thanks to tonyp for his work on TWRP!)
Multilanguage support planned, but not added yet in this version
Does not come with gapps, you need to flash it separately
Superuser:
Before installing anything, first activate root permission from 'Permission' app in 'Security' folder. Select 'manage root permission' and enable it.
This only needs to be done once, and all superuser prompts will come as usual when you install/use root apps.
If you installed or tried to use any root apps before doing this, and your app no longer gets root access, reinstall that app.
Battery:
To see percentage battery indicator on the status bar, go to settings->battery and change the battery indicator style
Performance:
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this.
If the ROM becomes slow over time, do a reboot.
And try not to do a lot of stuff in the first few seconds when SD card scanning is going on, sync is going on or when apps are updating in the background. Its not right to complain of "this/that doesnt work" or lag when you do that

How to install:
1.Extract Zip file with samsung File explorer
Do not change anything else in the extracted Folder
2.boot into twrp and locate into the Folder there is now only one File called twrp.zip
3. Flash twrp.zip

Are there any known bugs? I am looking into flashing this on my phone, but as you don`t say there are any bugs or all is stable, i will not risk bricking my phone. Also, post the screenshots here...

There are no risk to brick device because it's a grace ux port
The settings app is very buggy and browser too.
Also music app is buggy and the audio fx app.
Screenshots are posted.

@Malte.Huber your rom is very good but there is some bug like in settings , but good try , i hope that dev like you brings us Lineage OS , i know that is exynos and is difficult , but you can try , thanks for your port
I like what you did. You ROM looks nice, but you should consider getting the settings to work. I love that you removed Samsung's stupid ****apps.
I'll give it a try tomorrow, the download is on the way.
And an advice: don't be salty if there is no response in 3 days... give users time to install and try the ROM.

Was soll dieses unreife beleidigt sein? Wenn du nicht damit klar kommst, dass man dich hier nicht mit Lob überschüttet, solltest du es vielleicht sein lassen oder ein paar Jahre warten, bis du psychisch damit umgehen kannst.
