I'm not referring to the normal multi-window provided through jelly bean 4.2 for the s3.
I'm referring to the ability to minimize, maximize and re size windows as shown in the screenshot below(of the note)

You sure thats the note and not one of the galaxy tabs? The res looks a bit high, and it seems more impractical than split screen on a 5.5".
Definatly from the note, that image is actually from xda-developers home page. Link below:

Thanks. I just got confused cause I thought you were talking about stock roms and this is actually a mod.
I still think it's unnecesary for a screen our size, but good luck!
great, good luck
This is a mod. Not how the note comes stock so until someone ports it or checks if its compatible. Or even creates it from scratch we won't have it unless Samsung makes it.

Wow that's a nice feature! However, unusable on the GS3 imho, due to smaller screen size. I even struggle to find a use for the new dual-window feature, I find quickly switching between apps more convenient (thanks to the 2gb ram ).
I wonder if it even really makes sense on the note... Surely a must on tablet though!

Perfect! Thank you. Brightness is what I was wondering if the upgrade from 6.0 was worth it.
The power widgets are OK, but fugly, and were pretty buggy in the nightlies. The MIUI ones are much better.
Radio seems better than the MIUI or Sense ones (mine's been flawless).
Seems a lot smoother than the nightlies...
I also like being able to toggle between 2G, 3G, or both (using notification widget, or home screen power widget).
Nothing ground breaking, though...

how about the videos? has cyanogen update the video recording so it can go up to 29 fps?
I've no idea (not much of a cam guy). How would I check the frame count from the phone (I'm away from my PC)?

i have no idea myself. but the (camera) guy just post his update today, and cyanogen update CM yesterday. so unless cyanogen update it again today, it's probably the same. just differs by radio and power control in notification bar.
Looks like charnsingh has already posted 6.1 RC1 with updated video included, over on the video thread...

Do you ever find that no matter what rom or theme(gb only) you flash that the signal strength icons stay the same stock moto ones?
Sent from my XT860 using xda premium
Now that you mention it.. yeah. It doesn't look bad or anything though. I haven't ever installed a theme yet, so not sure if this helps...
I got curious and searched my phone for screenshots and found 2 gingerbread-based rom screenshots from my XT860.

(and I think this is Mavrom4):
Drives me nuts
I think its because gsm uses different signals icons for some reason. Don't know why. I manually change them with ninja morph
I was surprised no one else had every mentioned it. I follow nearly every thread on here

LOL
I'm just happy that the icon (and function) works. Which theme/visual mods are you running right now? And/Or.. which rom? I'd like to see what your setup looks like. I admit, I'm getting a little bored of the standard look.
Mavrom 4.0 with nextang theme from the maverick toolbox

Looks like the screenshot got compressed and resized. Do you hate that SMS icon as much as I do? Hah.. I may just have to give Mav another shot and play with the themes. Mav4 made my phone warm for the whole 8 hours I had it installed. It bugged me.
I should be getting my gnex soon and I was going to use of primarily for work purposes like notes and such.
I have a leather portfolio for work right now that I take hand notes on for meetings which is really nice then I convert them to the PC. I'm going to utilize Google drive for a medium between my tab and work PC. F'in love Google!
My question is does anybody know of a good 7 inch tablet portfolio style case with a pad of paper in it so I can take notes and work on my tab at the same time? I would prefer leather but I'll take the other smart case style material as well.
Any help appreciated. Thanks!

This is my first device with multi-view and am looking for ideas to get the most out of this feature.
I'm using Multi Window App Manager to use any app in multi-view https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bjbinc.multiwindowmanager&hl=en
So.... what are your favorite app combos to use in multi-view?

Agreed. I'm really looking forward to this. With that said I do like multi window on TW. I've actually used it more than I thought I would.

Halo does look cool Hopefully at some point we will be able to flash it to a stock rom.
tryn to get my ten
definetly good for certain things but like the 3d camera this features basically useless but for larger tablets this' cool
Because the new Android phones are so much bigger, the font size on my exhibit, when I'm running a jb rom, is really small.

True but I like it tiny. I got mine the smallest
Sent from my SGH-T679 using xda app-developers app
Agreed. Aesthetically, the small type is much better. For my old eyes, though, it can be problematic. I might go back to the smaller size if I can handle it.
