i would explain a problem: why LG change lockscreen in each phone?
Definitely ICS for Optimus Black and for Optimus Dual have a normal effect of unlock. The same have LG L5, L7, but there is a different style of unlock in LG L9, LG 4X, and in Optimus G there are FOUR styles.
Here there are some IDEAS , i'm not a dev, but i hope that someone read what I'm going to write
So i seen that in pre-release (leaked) of optimus dual, particularly the v28a the lockscreen is http://youtu.be/BV03aY0VNm0?t=1m38s (you must see right phone). Is a different effect of unlock compared to our version

So i try to take and replace some file, unsuccessfully, from system dump of v28a of optimus dual (p990)
here there is .system http://d-h.st/iLK (you can mount and extract files with DiskInternals Linux Reader for windows)
i found also the system dump of optimus g

i know that, for example, someone port "Facelock" from P930 to P970 and it work

at the same time, from system dump of Optimus G, we can extract some libs, or file, that allow us to port these style to p990/p970, to work with lockscreensettings.apk of our rom.
or the last possibility is compiling with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24811293 and to hope the effect work with lockscreensettings.apk of our rom.

As the thread title suggests I`m looking for someone able to port the LG Revolution Widget for Multimedia (Music, Pictures, aso) to our 2X.
I`ve tried in the Revolution threads to find a Rom, extract the questionable items and try it myself but I`m even not able to find a download which not only contains a .img for nandroid operation.
Any input here would be highly appreciated!

Hey fellow 4X HD owners
I have a question regarding the bootanimation:
The change of the bootanimation itself is easy,
but it seems that there is another "animation" (actually just lg logo)
in front of it; is this kernel related or can we change it?
And related to the shutdownanimation:
The zip of the shutdownanimation in system/media is obvious,
but can I remove it or do I have to replace it?
PS: D4's bootanimation app installs the bootanimation to data/local,
why does the android system search for it in there on ICS?
(I know it's been there n GB 2.4.5 or something)

You need root and then you can replace it either manually or through a various number of apps

How to deodex ICS ROM V30B/C???
well, just say i have some experience in deodexing, although it was done by automated apps like xultimate......
i tried AutoDEOTool but it give me much error.....
so, any suggestion what tool that i should use???
and about BOOTCLASSPATH, is kafdex.jar and smillhal.jar is necessary??? because i cant find it on /framework/ folder...

hi guys today i present you the lg optimus 2x keyboard resized and ported to work on galaxy mini
it works with every version of android except for froyo(didn't tried xD)
this version is faster and lighter than the previous one because i deleted dictionary word suggestion (our mini is not supported for that feature)
old size: 26-27 MB
new size:2,97MB
English and Korean pre-included
installation:
-download the keyboard from here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/-U4W52I6/signedlgkeyboard.html
-copy it to your sd card
-reboot in recovery mode
-install zip from sd card
-choose zip from sd card
-select signedlgkeyboard.zip
-wait the end of the installation
-reboot system now

@yayhia700 im using miui expression fixed and for sms like app i have a miui iphone theme awesome xD btw the keyboard is working also on jb (using it right now and no lags)
@ariazv the language depends from the rom and i think vietnamese is included in the keyboard but not sure cuz i dunno which symbols has vietnamese language
the zip is not working, you have to extract the files from my zip and open system folder, then put the files in lib folder to /system/lib and set perms to rwrr then put the hime.apk in app folder to /system/app and set perms to rwrr

just replace the old SystemUI.apk with the downloaded one into the path /system/app
don't forget to take backup from the old SystemUI.apk before replace it
i try in zaiben rom but nothing happened

I can confirm this does not work in JB; firstly the file names are different and secondly the files themselves are different. I hope that clears up any queries?
