can't find much info about release date. all O2 talks about iphone3G :-(
any rumours???
eXpansys do it on an O2 contract
I would of thought 1st or 2nd week of July...
Orange have it the July catalogue, and dummy models on display from Tuesday.
Its Getting Closer
orange are getting close to launch
im going to wet myself
First week of July is what I have heard.
Play currently have it for £399.99 SIM free but I did hear it might be on Vodafone PAYG for as little as £230!!!
Links to the various HTC Diamond versions comapred on UK contracts etc can be found here - note it isn't available on contract yet!
HTC Diamond

This wont happen.
O2 will not be in a rush as they wont want anything getting in the way of their precious iPhone

LOL I do like Apple products and have been a fan for many years but the iPhone $ucks
thanks for all the responses...
and I confess ... am still not sure if I go for iPhone 3G or Diamond..
it's like I know the Diamond will do more and I will play with it more as installing third party dodgy-developers's tools, but... I am fed up of Win Mobile crashing, performance issue, memory, etc..
so.. still unsure :-(
Orange just told me release on the 7th and all £35+ monthly contracts are unlimited data.
Just have to wait till the 14th to upgrade.
MG
Mmm i would check out exactly what Oranges Unlimited data means.
Check out this discussion over at Coolsmartphone...
http://www.coolsmartphone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12602
Apparently if you click on more info about the Unlimited data it states that its for 2 months. Its very vague and not very obvious exactly what they are offering and how long for.
available but on poor network contracts
Expansys have it on O2 and T-mobile but the contracts are poor. Phones4u has it for Orange and seems to have a bigger range of contract options.
Many sites have it as sim free...Perhaps it is worth the wait for the HTC Pro though, i like the thought of the 16gb microSD slot as well as the TV out option.
Phones4u seems to be more expensive then orange. they want £39 for a £40 12 month contract, whereas orange is free

How are the Expansys contracts for T Mobile poor? They are exactly the same as those from T Mobile themselves.
If anyone thinks they are going to get a free MDA Compact IV on anything less that a 18 month flext contract, they are kidding themselves.
T Mobile themselves still charge £190 for the Vario 3 on the Combi 35 12 Month deal

There is no way in hell this phone will be free on a 12 month contract

Well for a start you pay at least £5/month more for a like-for-like contract if you buy from Expansys rather than T-mob direct.

O2 UK get it on the 12th Aug; its called the XDA Indigo. Why O2 just don't keep Diamond as the name; god knows

Only on some of the selected 18 month deals. The 12 month deals (and there is hardly any left) are priced the same.
The T Mobile ones that are discounted by £5 are due to a web promotion on the T Mobile site. Now, I have researched this throughly, and all Expansys do is have T Mobile subsidise the phone. They do not customise any of the tariffs to their suiting. A Flext 35 is the same as a T Mobile Flext 35 for example. If the tariff suddenly changes (more mins for example or lower price) then you deal direct with T Mobile and have every right to demand these changes are reflected in what you recieve.
I just received an email from T-Mobile and the Nexus 4 is available on the T-Mobile site. I find this funny because I NEVER received any email from Google about the N4 product release. Huuummmm????

Bought mine for $199.00 on an upgrade which I was going to do anyways, but at least it's in my hands and I am loving it so far. Sold my GNEX for 200 an hour after I bought the N4 , so my out of pocket expense was zero dollars, not bad at all.
Only in America. It's not in my country! (yes we have T-Mobile too)

$199, and still Unlocked? Or are you stuck with using the Device for T-mobile only?
(since you signed a new 2yr contract, I'm aware you are stuck with T-mobile as a carrier.. Just curious if the phone is unlocked or not.)
I want to buy the off-contract do you guys now where can i buy near brooklyn and Lawrence!?

Not a big deal for me, I hate AT&T and I have to have a GSM phone because I travel overseas for my business and CDMA is not and option for me. I still find T-mobile the best bang for the buck, hands down. I have never had any issues with customer service and the coverage and network speeds are fine for my everyday needs. So far the N4 upgrade was best 200 dollars I have spent, and I sold my GNEX for 200 an hour after I bought the N4 so my out of pocket expense was zero, not bad.

Did they mention the 20 payments of $15 you'll be making to recover their loss on the phone and bringing your total to $499?

Free from T-Mobile Until Sunday, February 24th (Online Only)... so for those who are willing to take a two-year contract with this phone, this is probably your deal.
Damn you TMO. I just got mine last month, and it wasn't free.
Got mine for $50 last week and now it's free.
Good deal either way.
Called T-Mobile to see if I could get it for free since I had upgrade available. Like usual its free for new customers.

im with t mobile and my contract on my htc one x is , i normally get goods deals by just phoning t mobile and asking for my pac code and get what i want.I tried it today and they just were not playing ball, wanted the htc one on 18 month contract but the deals they were offering were way over priced
any suggestions on good deals you have seen or signed up to

I was in the same boat. T mobile couldn't offer me a good deal so cancelled and took up a new contract with them via a 3rd party site. Ended up getting the One for free and on a better deal than I had before.
Yes it's looking like that for me as well

Same for me they wouldn't play ball. Ending up getting it for free on the thanet mobile full monty tariff for 26 month from affordable mobiles with a media link. Not sure if they still do any similar offers but. Upgrading is not what it used to be

hope some one can clarify this
found a deal with t mobile on mobile phones direct
my contract ran out on 6th oct, so i phoned them thinking i would be able to take out the new 24 month contract and keep the same number but was told i could not.I find this hard to see why not
is this correct?
You might have to get a PAC code, as silly as it sounds, or you have to upgrade so perhaps give Mobile Phones Direct a buzz and ask them

i have my pac code and i rang them and explained im on tmobile now and my contract has run out
Hmmm...I'd personally wait and see what the Nexus 5 is like, perhaps buy it SIM-free and get a Three/Giff Gaff SIM-only deal. Probably work out cheaper
I'm probably going to get a Nexus 5 once released
needed to be tmobile/orange because of where i work signal and all that
any way rang them back and got it sorted
free phone, 1000 mins, unlimited text, unlimited net(noFUP) £32 per month with £2 a month off with cashback every 6 months
only thing was he said you cant tehter on the full monty internet plan, its not a biggie as i rarley do it but does this mean they have blocked it at there server or can it be by passed.Do not think it can be blocked in the rom because all MPD phones come unbranded and unlocked

any one able to answer this please
They block it network end, the ROM has nothing to do with it
so with all the news coming out of CES this year, the biggest thing i saw was the new incentive to switch to T-Mobile, where they will pay for your ETF from any carrier like Sprint. i live in Tallahassee and i know i get 3g half the time and 4g only at my apartment. article from the Verge Here:http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/8/52...-you-up-to-350-to-leave-your-existing-carrier so who thinks this is a good idea? plus its 20 dollars cheaper and i was going to buy a nexus 5 anyways. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum Mods, i havent really posted before, usually just read and watch. :good::good:
How is T-Mobile coverage in your area? If its good then its a good idea

better than sprints sucky 3g. i just got sprint before moving up here in may and it was good 4g all the way back home, but up here its almost alwasy 3g or 1x when im at the university.
How is it 20 bucks cheaper?

because its 90 dollars a month on my sprint contract for unlimited text and data and 450 anytime minutes, when its 70 for the same with T-Mobile with unlimited anything. plus I get a military discount of 20% off.
military discount with sprint is 15% I think. buy yeah if T-Mobile is cheaper and has better signal then go for it. Just know that you HAVE to trade in what ever phone you currently have with sprint. and you are in a small contract because you are trading in a phone where you get credit towards a new one so T-Mobile is financing you.
