Sorry if this has been asked before but this is my first contract and the first time iv been through the renewal process and id like to avoid walking away with a contract that iv paid more then i should have for;
How much did everyone pay for their kaiser & contract? Be it a totally new contract via phone/web site/store or via a renewal?
Iv been with them for 17 (of 18) months on a flex25 then a flex30 package due to me going over for the first 12 months (+£5-£10 over a month). Iv also signed my sister up with them, so id like to think they'll give me a good deal.
Ideally ill be looking at the kaiser on flex30 (for £25 a month with their -5£ discount) with Web n Walk. Bringing it up to £32.50 a month
cheers guys
Vodafone
£22 / month - unlimted landline calls, unlimted to vodafone business + 500 mins, 1GB data any network. I had to sign a 24 month contract. I added £2/day to my contract rate to cover this expense.

He asked how much others paid for a Tilt with a T-mobile contract renewal, not how much you pay for your subscription etc
My dad has been with T-Mobile Netherlands from the start and he tried to get a good deal especially seeing that he overpaid the past few years. (Old subscription prices while they keep getting lower)
He got it for €195,- with 50% discount on his subscription for the following 2 years.
T-Mobile renewals were F-ing crap!
I've been a One2One/T-mobile customer since 1999, and when it came to upgrading from my 18 month Flext25+WnW VarioII contract to the VarioIII they offered me exactly the same deal you could get as a new customer. I must admit I had a rant at the guy in renewals, and told him Voda were offering me a much better deal (which was true) and he said he sympathised but the VarioIII was having no special deals done on it.
Told him to cancel my contract at the end of the period, and I'd go elsewhere.
Then I found that Mobileshop.com were offering the VarioIII for free on T-mobile Flext30+WnW (T-Mobile wanted me to pay over £120 for it on that contract). spoke with them and they had it in stock. So, I called T-Mobile back and told them - and got the very same guy in Renewals!!! He remembered our conversation a few days earlier, and to be fair tried to get a deal on, but couldnt do anything at all yet again.
So I took the new contract through Mobileshop.com and got the handset free. It was delivered next day, and has been superb. OK, it costs me a fiver a month more due to not getting the go-direct discount, but my wife's phone is due for renewal in a few months (some Nokia Symbian thing) so when we discuss her renewal I'm going to get them to add the loyalty discount back onto my account.
I guess the moral of the tale is "dont expect T-Mobile to do you a great deal!"
Thanks for that link Rob, iv made a note of that site and if t-mobile dont offer me a good deal i might follow your lead and go with them!
What did everyone else pay?
Andehh,
That sounds very similar to the deal that I was looking. However, T-Mobile wanted to charge me £180 for the Kiser until I told them that O2 would do it for free so I would cancel my contract if they didn't match it.
Not only did they match that offer but they ended up giving me the £5/month off on the contract as well.
Not taking a survey, I want to find a reputable vendor to get me some note lovin. T-Mo stores in the region, dada, Walmart, nada, T-Mo direct.....NADA!!!! I have an AT&T note, so I'm livin the dream but I want my T-Mo version so the rapid downloading can begin.
Seriously, give it up.
Got mine with Wireflyfriends.com. Ordered it Friday night, was here Monday afternoon.
Paid $180 for it with an eligible upgrade.
Got mine from a tmobile retail store overpriced if u ask me with a full upgrade and after taxes came to about 370 plus a 50dollar rebate
Sent from my SGH-T879 using xda premium
Well, I don't have an upgrade avail, so its full retail for me.
You'd after months of lead time those assholes at t-mo would ordered enough phones and gotten them into the distribution centers.
Tmobile Note
Got mine from Wirelfy for $229 and ordered on Fri and got it on Tues
I got mine from eBay full retail.
Bought at Best Buy online

Best Buy has it listed for $750 but matched T-Mobiles price of $599 suggested retail when I asked. I bought a prepaid sim card for .99 cents on T-Mobiles website. Then put this sim card in my TMOB Note and use it on their monthly 4G plan.
at t-mo advantage.
got 2 lines for family --- FAR

For that price, you might as well have saved up a couple more hundred and gotten the Note 2.
Got mine at Best Buy on Cyber Monday. Phone and Fed Ex shipping was free on two year upgrade but I had to pay $63 in California sales tax.
why not craigslist?
I got mine at Costco for $50 on sale Earlier this month. Full price is $350.

Costco
50 bucks a phone and just got my Costco cash card so total was 0 after rebate
'tis a truly great device.
the more I use it, the more I like it.
only app I haven't really sorted out yet is keyboard and music player.
guess I'm too picky...
i use the prepaid 30 buck plan.
Got mine online from Costco before Christmas for $50. Just got my $50 rebate card back in mail so that made it zero dollars for the whole cost.
Tried to buy one off contract at a T-Mobile store since my g nexus is on its last limbs and they refused to sell one to me. They said they were only for new lines. Pretty ridiculous, I'm punished for being their customer. As soon as my value plan contract is up I'm switching to straight talk.

Whoever said that lied to you. They offer all phones off contract, you should have asked to speak to a supervisor. That's the reason they offer a non commitment price in the first place.
What I would do is call another T-Mobile store while you're standing in that store.
Get customer care on the line and they will make them sell you the phone... They are trying to earn commission by only allowing new customers to get the phone and that is wrong and against policy.

Could you do this?
Got to T-mobile Store, sign up for a new two year agreement. Get the N for $200.
Call and cancel service. Pay EFT of $200. Keep the phone for $400.
It seems its only slightly more than the Play Store price, and less than the full retail price ($499?)

Standard practice is to also charge you the the difference in the phone price if you cancel within the remorse period. You would have to keep the phone until after the remorse period, pay the service charges for that period, as well as the ETF.

+ Activation fee + First month service
= $500 or less
Call customer service on that jackass. Go find a store that deserves your money

So....they paid 500 for the device off contract at a t-mo store? Why the heck would you do that?
Also if you cancel contract right after buying the phone ON contract, they're going to charge you the full "retail" price plus termination fee.
Because I'm currently phone less.

I haven't had difficulties getting the phone (able to buy from the Play store) but T-Mobile isn't helping me switch from Verizon.
Online sold out of prepaid micro-sim cards
Went to store, wouldn't sell the micro-sim without signing up (then I can't do the $30 plan)
Ordered regular prepaid sim
Went to store, asked to cut the sim to micro-sim size, said they didn't do it for non-customers
Asked if I could exchange the regular sim for micro-sim, said no
Cut down to micro-sim size myself, activated online at 3:30pm Friday
Got an error message during activation, and have to wait for a text message from TMobile that it's activated, it's not 12pm Saturday
I'm in the process of doing that. He wouldn't give me the corporate number but I called the store I usually go to and they're going to give that to me.
PSA don't visit T-Mobile stores in prick neighborhoods. They're run by pricks.

http://about.att.com/story/samsung_galaxy_pre_order_information.html
"AT&T announced that pre-orders begin tomorrow for the Samsung Galaxy S® 5 in the U.S. at att.com or at AT&T stores. Shipping for pre-orders will begin in early April.

They were cutting it close for me. Had the new HTC been available sooner thats the route I would be going. But ill be placing my preorder for the s5 as soon as they will let me.

That's are good and affordable price i think...
No idea at the moment. I know AT&T is only releasing the 16GB for now and no 32GB confirmation. If T-mobile releases the 32GB along with the 16GB, I'll order it from T-mobile.

Just preordered Hell yeah!!
Just checked their site and it's available, yeah...but only in black or white. Where's the "electric blue"? I'll be holding off preordering until that's available.
Meh....should of known. 16GB models only have about 9GB free storage from the MWC videos. I'll be waiting to see what t-mobile has to offer.

Still too little. 10.7GB - 1GB cache = 9.7GB - 3.7GB used space = 6GB. Well...I guess that is enough.
Pre-ordered!
Just ordered an AT&T S5 for my wife. I'm on Verizon through work and had them order me a Note 3 that I'll have on Monday. New phones for everyone! LOL
I actually just cancelled the pre-order. I'm going to need the 32gb model.
Question for those preordering, can you let me know how much more stable the new TW software will be? It's good on the Note 3, but that's because I have 3 GB of RAM!
Anyone know if there's a way to preorder for use on prepaid? I'm on T-mobile, but switching to AT&T for better coverage. From looking at their new plans, it actually cost more ($65+tax and fees) for a monthly plan vs prepaid at $60+tax only. Same 2GB of LTE.

I would imagine if your intention is to pay full retail for it, they will sell it to you on preorder just the same as someone on contract getting it subsidized.

Unfortunately, when I go though the process and choose the pay in full option it still forces me to pick a plan to checkout. I guess I'l have to stop by a store next week and see if they can do it for me. Just a pain in the butt.
