I was just being too lazy to enter recovery using keys combo I installed an app from the market to boot into recovery.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS50cmFuc2Zvcm1lci5yZWNvdmVyeSJd
Now my phone doesnt start (No screen, Key lights not even download or recovery mode). Doesnt charge too..Any help..??
Rom: Cleanote V5
Kernel: NoteCore V14
ohmy
Ohmy if im not mistaken, that app is for the asus transformer yet you used it on a galaxy note....
Only step i can think of is if you can manage to get into recovery there, you can wipe data. This would reset you to default..
Or if it really cant get in there, then just flash back to gingerbread and back to your preferred rom..

Try again and if you still not able to boot in download mode manually then use JIG method.

Doesn't sound good to me...
Just a thought, why not try to take out the sd card and booting again?
Try turning it on when connected to usb and see if the pc detects a connected device.
I don't know much about this, but if you can't get ANY sign from your phone, it might be hard bricked...

Lol if you pay attention the brick threads numbers gets higher on weekends.. It's when the average noob gets some time to flash stuff without reading a single line of warnings and hows to and this its the result...

Consider what happened as an act of laziness. Btw I read that it was for transformer but never thought it can lead to serious hard brick issues. Well tried with a jig it didnt work and also I found out my battery isnt charging through the phone (I used my frnds phone to check ). I just want to try everything before giving it to service center.

I was not talking about you when referred to Noobs hehe
So you can not go recovery with a full charged battery?... I agree if the app only sends commands to go to recovery it should just not work..
But if a jig its not working and neither does a full battery you should send your device for repairs...

I think that app triggered the emmc bug though I was on notecore. Maybe who knows..Its sunday here so i ll make a visit tomorrow to the service center. Well just dont use that app
Try the Jig first but if you cant even see anything on screen or When you connect the device to pc, if there is no signal no sound nothing than most probably you super bricked your phone. Then the best way is to send it to the samsung service. If you still have guaranty that is the best option
I also superbricked my galaxy note and send it to service they coulndt undersrtand what happened and they fixed it.
i think i have a hard brick, my note is not booting on, i press the power button but nothing happens i connected it to my laptop as if noting is connected.
what happened i was using an app to put large games files like pes2012 to my external storage and the program moved then deleted 32g.b all the files in the android folder but it didnot work so i restart my phone it got stuck so i removed the battery and now its dead.
what should i do, is it a hardbrick ?
Are you able to go into recovery or dwnld mode

We're you rooted? Can you please on entropy about this, he's looking for cases like this to report to Samsung to prove to them of issues with stock kernel. It does look like you're super bricked. Last thing to try is leave it charging overnight, pull battery, reinsert and try download mode again.

Sorry im new to this forum.
I Rooted my phone and accidently made an Full Data Wipe.
Now the screen stays black and it does nothing.
Do you still can turn it on? I mean do you see the "Samsung Galaxy Note" message when turning it on?
If you can see it, your problem was called "soft brick". Don't worry. Turn your phone off, then try these steps.
- Reset all settings and clear all data. Go to Recovery Mode (VolUp+Home+Power), then select "wipe data/factory reset".
- Download the ROM, then flash it with ODIN software while your phone is in Download Mode (VolDown+Home+Power).
If your phone cannot turn on.
- Leave the charger connected for at least 1 hour, then try to turn it on again. If you see the message, do the above steps.
- Take out the battery for at least 3 hours, then try to turn it on again.
- Make or order the USB JIG. It can force your phone to enter the Download Mode, then you can later flash a new ROM with ODIN software.
- If USB JIG doesn't work, then your phone's motherboard has to be replaced.
PS. Sorry about my english.

If it's too complex for you then service center is the only option for a mobo replacement. By the way, what recovery did you wipe from? What method did you use to root your phone?

i think i give it to a customer who do JTAG Unbricks maybe this helps. They do this for 35€ so its better as spend 450€ for a new phone and the problem is im only 15 so i dont have soo much spare money

what your color led? red? i think your battery is empty.. charge with dekstop charger for 1 hour.. and try to tur it on..
Can you boot into recovery ? If you can, I could probably make a flashable zip to make sure you have an OK launcher like LauncherPRO or ADW just to make sure you can use your phone.
it was flashing a green light for about a second accompanied sometimes by a vibration. then nothing. it won't boot or anything. i gave it to my brother so he can take it to the service center. thanks guys

ok now i know what your problem.. turn off your phone, try to pull battery, sim, and sdcard off. open flashtool on your computer and flash eclair stock rom.. if you have a notif to connect your phone, try to connect your usb data and press back and insert battery.. if you hear a sound like a usb connected on your computer, your phone is safe. i have try this trick many times on my xperia x8, galaxy mini, galaxy gio and samsung galaxy s3.
So
I was using saurom v2.. everything was good when i decided to try ics.. i tried to instal tiramislim v2.. got problems rom never installed.
i downgraded back to gb jw4... rooted.. then tried the f4k ics rom...
failed to install it and now i can't even downgrade.. everytime i try my phone just stucks on odin or fails..
any idea?
sorry if its the wrong section, but i need help

i managed to make it jvu.. then went to make it jw4
now i can't even enter download mode.. screen stopped working or wtf..
Take out the battery for 1min.
Try removing the battery and then try the 3 button combo to enter download mode. I thing Odin failed because when you tried to install F4 it changed partitions and when you wanted to downgrade to jw4 you did not repartition with 512 pit.
When you enter download mode remember to install the 3 file stock rom with 512 pit and repartition checked.
After installing the stock rom before proceeding with jellybean remember to backup your efs folder ( you can search xda dev how to do that)
I strongly recommend going with Cyanogenmod 10 stable. Its very fast and with the latest semaphore kernel runs like a beast.

removed the battery many times but nothing. i am charging the phone in case it's the battery :/ i closed also odin when i saw it was doing nothing..
i think i did a serious damage on the phone. If it gets fixed i will try cm10.. right now.. nothing :/
I think Odin crashed my phone
because i changed 3-4 custom roms in some hours..
i saw some threads about how to put it back in recovery mode but nothing..
screen is black.. not responding at all : (

nothing at all..
Then basically your battery died in the middle of flashing process, you can try with another full battery and try to enter download mode by using the 3 button combo. If it does not it means you have to use a USB jig to access download mode. Once you access download mode remember to have a fully charged battery before flashing

so when the battery dies in the middle of flashing... i can't charge it?
Possibly not, you have to try with a fully charged battery before flashing anyway. I think if you touch the phone while on power and the battery is warm maybe is charging. If there is no sign of life or there is no heat at all maybe is not charging. You still have to try to enter download mode with a fully charged battery, keep trying.

i don't know what to do
You have to try the dowload mode using an USB jig.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819551
You can't broke this mode by flashing your phone, if an USB Jig don't work, you really have an hardware problem.
my pc makes sounds when i connect the phone.. then the sound that it got dc'ed
i don't think i will find a jig here.. nor i can make one.
i will give it to samsung service center and pay them..
if it gets fixed
1 week and more without a phone lol
Where you're from..? If you're from holland i have a jig for you... if not you can order one from the internet i paid €3,75 for it
GT-I9001 4.1.2 JB by Invendor
same happened to me
i live in India i have the same problem tried repairing my phone but no result.....i gave it to a repairer he tried the riff box repair but nothing happened....and when i am charging the phone it doesn't heats.... if you get something done please update it on this thread, while i'm trying too
i guess i have to find a shop and buy a jig : P
you can order the jig on ebay... i got one for my phone... in continuation of the discussion going on, my phone is bricked as well... nothing is working... neither the 3 combo button or the JIG... also, when i plugin the charger, no indication is showing up... can anyone please suggest what can be done for this?
I checked with Samsung.. they have asked me to get the motherboard replaced and it will cost around 8K...
