Hello,
I have just recorder a movie with my wp8 device and cannot find where to view it on the phone.
Do not tell me I cannot do this...
Where is it? In photos/camera roll is not, in music&videos is not. Where is it??
P.S just found out that on a longer video, the SD card stores the video but it appears as used space on Others, and it's missing from Photos/camera roll
Use the Music+Videos hub.
RE:
Got it solved. the problem was my SDcard, the movies weren't saved. I have formatted my microsd card in the phone and now it works.

Ive asked around and searched pretty throughly, and it doesn't look like anyone has figured this out. So as a a last resort I thought Id ask here. I want to be able to access videos from my sd card on htc album. I know how to do it for videos on my internal memory, but no one seems to know how to configure the directory to access the sd card.
In a related matter Id also like to put the video.lnk on the today screen or start menu, any idea how to do that? (I'll admit I haven't searched that yet so go easy on me if someone has already posted that question a year ago)
Thanks!
Let me get this right. You want to be able to go into the album and click video to show videos on your SD card?
Mine does that, I just have the camera set to save all those things to the SD card.
In the Polaris Upgrading subforum, there is a thread called Polaris Tweaks & tips.
It is described in there how to change it to your SD
(if the solution from the post above mine, doesnt work )
Hey I just discovered that if I want to view my videos in HTC Album I just have to select "videorecording mode" when I have launched the camera and then the play button in the left downside corner to activate HTC Album and voila
If I then want to see my pictures again I just select "camera mode" again and the the "play" button to activate the HTC Album.
This I probably what is mentioned in the previus posts but now I just had to write it too in this thread...

Awesomeness.
Ok, maybe i found the wrong thing, but the posts in the polaris forum did not have what i was looking for. What i've got rite now is an htc album version w/o the directory. I don't want the directory. I have mediahub set up so that cube's video tab opens to htc album video, but of course only the videos on my phone (not my sd card). What i'd like to do is open that htc album (videos) and have it open all video files, or at least all video files on my sd card.
I know it sounds like i'm asking a lot but this is just basic feature (customization) that htc album should have.
Thanks.
I am looking for this too. Anyone found a way for this to happen. My pictures show up fine in camera album from my storage card or internal storage but my videos do not show up in video album unless they are in internal storage only.
I can't get Spotify to use the external microSD 16GB card to store my offline music. I've been in contact with Spotify's support and they told me that the app automatically selects the largest storage unit by default. Still after factory resets and re-formating of the microSD card Spotify still stores everything on the internal SD card for some reason.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance!
Hi.
I had the same problem and spent ages searching for an answer until I found this link on the spotify forum.
All you need to do is uninstall Spotify download the version from the link below, install it, then sync. It works!!

Awesome, will check this out as soon as I get home from work.
Thanks a bunch.
Hello xda-members.
Cause I don't have 10 posts in your pleasant forum here, I am not able to post in the dev-part directly concerning the MOD for the camera.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090785
So I'll try here...
I just installed the new 1.1.3.4 Version (128) via Astro-FM. First i deleted the cam app via Titanium-B. The 64 and 96 Version seem to be broken @tm. The method via CWM doesn't work either.
Now if I record a video in 1080p the sound and the video are quite suspended. I Doesn't matter if I choose the internal SD or external. I'm running the Fr17 Modaco (prebake)
720 works fine instead.
So, does anyone else face this problem too? Any suggestions? If it's possible i'd like to post in the dev-thread...
Kind regards
Are you saving your video to external SD card??? if so id try saving it to the internal, as the r/w will be faster than the external.

As said, doesn't matter.
I just sent the videos to my PC. There's no out of synch. Perfect match of sound and image. Seems to be a player problem on the mobile device...
I'd like to know if others have the same issue...?

yes, since the 1.st version !
when playing back on device, sound is not in sync with video ...
i guess it could be the player app, i´m using LG video player ...
by the way, i corrected wrong update zip, now you can flash via CWM ...

You're right. With the first Version I also didn't realize the problem.
For now I tested with rockplayer and the original LG. With both players the sound and image are out of synch on the P990.
I don't even have a clue whats happening with the files or players... May both internal and external SD card are to slow? Who knows. I have a class 4 external SD. But I think even 4 MB writespeed would be enought for the 17Mbit stream...
17Mbit / 8 = 2,125 Megabyte
Even a good class 2 card would be enought...
Greetings everyone. I had a Bionic, rooted with a simple "one-click" root, wich seemed to work fine on my phone. At some point the phone got cracked recently and i paid veriz for my insurance replacement. I stored all my music, vids, pics on my SD card and transferred it to the new one. Can someone please tell me if I try to play these files, this message displays:
"Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file."
Picture won't show at all either. I have tried copying these into their normal folders on my internal memory. No luck. How do I fix this?
Hi I Have a problem so my phone boot normally and everything works but it seems like storage reading is not working properly, I can listen music or browse files and photo but I can't view videos on snapchat it said that i need to mount sd card to view video and i'm unable to download anything, when i want to download picture by chrome it says "No sd card".
