If you create a folder "media" on the internal memory (or on the sdcard if you swap it) you can put it on the folder "audio" with " ringtones, "notification" and "alarms".
Put your audio files in these folders, they will be used as mentioned.

Do you want to make your Android device sound like a GALAXY Nexus? Down below you have a zipped archive with the whole Audio directory pulled out from a GNex device with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The sound pack includes alarm, notifications, ringtones, messages and UI sounds. Use a PC/laptop with Windows and follow the instructions below:
1, Extract the zip file (it should be automatically renamed “audio.” If not, rename the folder “audio.”)
2, Place the “audio” folder in the “media” folder found on your device’s SD card. If there is no “media” file then create one.
3, Choose ringtones and notifications from your device’s settings and the new Ice Cream Sandwich sounds should show up under their respective names.
4, Enjoy!
To get the UI sounds working is a little bit trickier you need a rooted device and you also need to move the UI directory (if not renamed to UI do it manually) into /system directory. Use this path system > media > audio > ui.
awh, gotta register? and instead of posting links that lead to other sites, which also leads to another site, why dont you just put up a link yourself here? o.o oh well.

I am able to download just fine, without registering for anything
And thank you OP, great download!
There seems to be no audible selection, and the keyboard sound lags.
Couldn't get it working at 1st, reflashed my ROM and now have both my original sounds and new ones.
Do the sounds seem to play low for anyone?

Didn't work with NSCollab Sprint 1.0.51 rom. I placed the extracted folder in sd > media and the sounds aren't showing up. Reboot didn't give any different results.
Should I just paste this folder in system > media since I'm running a custom rom?

- Create a folder named " ringtones " inside media folder
- Put all *.mp3 in this fresh created folder

Yes i have the same in the three folders for somes song but not all. Maybe you're not forced but I do not know.
For the space : Pay attention in the encoding. can you can be a little lower quality or not the whole song

The ringtones are really good. Thank you.
If you would make the untouched (not downsampled) versions available, too, I would love to get them. I do not have a storage issue, so their size does not matter.
If not, I am happy with what you provided us. Thanks again.

Try to download app from the market.. many apps there could give you the freedom of set as a ring tone or notification tone .. But I don't know how to create it as a build in the ROM it self

Thanks for suggestion, I will try. but if there is a way to create own folder like ICS do, it would be great
Hey
You can take ringtones from other roms and add it to the ics or jb roms...
1.select the ringtones of the rom you what to copy
Goto the downloaded rom, double click it,open system then goto media and copy the audio folder(or the tones you what)
2.select the rom you what them in
Goto the rom you what them in and paste the set or files in appropriate locations
After that flash the rom again...doing the wipes...
That's one method..the other is u copy the files to internal memory card
In the internal memory card there'll be a folder named "media"
Open it and create a folder as "Ringtones" and paste the tones there...
I haven't tried the second method but the first one works for sure...i have done that one..
Hopes this sorts your problem
Cheers

It also may depend on what build you're using. I had troubles losing my custom tones -- in one instance, an incoming call started flashing onscreen but it was silent. And i know a custom tone was set minutes before. But after the call, sound settings tones flipped to unknown, sdcard tones weren't in the pulldown menu, and Gallery was empty of pics. Right now, they seem to stick with pawitp's 0723 build, but are just a tad slow to show after a reboot.

Hello there Metal Gear solid fans! I just want to share you this ringtones I downloaded somewhere around the net. It's the ring tone codec and the sound where you are spotted by the enemy.
Just download the zip file, extract it and use it as a ring tone.
You can also use Ringdroid in the market.
Enjoy!
UPDATE!
Hi I just want to share again my own configuration of the tones. Please try to watch this 15 second video to see what Im talking about.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIeR8FPzmkY
So here's how.
Syntax:
Unlock tone.
- Download the file.
- it's already in ogg file so no need to convert it.
- using Root Explorer go to system/media/audio/ui/
- have a backup of your "unlock, ogg" in case.
- paste the downloaded file in system/media/audio/ui/
- change the permissions of the downloaded file to rw-r-r
- reboot
- hit thanks button & enjoy

How can I add sounds of s4 in my phone? Just sounds .. rightone, alarms, etc..
there are many ways.. first i would probably try to download them with application called "zedge"
The best way I know is really easy....
All you need is any Root Browser and the S4 ringtones.....
Go to System > Media > Audio folder... There copy/paste the Ringtones in ringtones folder... And notification tones in Notification folder....

To replace the background stock image?
This app it's ok?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sImNvbS5zcGVlZHNvZnR3YXJlLnJvb3RleHBsb3JlciJd
Yeah that app is OK but free ones are also good... Like Root Explorer Lite....
To change the wallpapers just download them and use Gallery to set them as your wallpaper....
If you want to replace the stock wallpapers with S4 wallpapers then that's a bit complicated process... It requires you to decompile secwallpaperchooser.apk and manually add the wallpapers.... Although 7zip can also be used.....

This is a separated .zip from my theme. It contains only the Galaxy S4 Sounds.
Just mount /system and /preload, then flash.

P.S. You can find a Gallery app on my Advance Galaxy thread with all S4 Wallpapers. It's located on the separated files too. Search that thread, it has many goodies.
