SOLUTION
ok i managed to solved it by my self
for users who can't enter nvflash, smartflash, CWM and stuck on lg logo and after you flash volume + and - here's what you need to do:
1. press volume + and volume - observe closely the screen you can see a screen that turn on and off quickly (important! don't loose your grip and keep holding the volume + and volume -)
2. press the power button and hold it for 5 seconds and you can hear a sound from your computer or a notification that their is a device that is connected
3. then nvflash

[Q] Stuck on LG logo after CM7! help!

I recently installed CM7 after rooting my phone with Superoneclick and installing Clockworkmod. However, after installation of CM7, i managed to boot up the system, played around with it and realised that i needed to install the google addon as well. So i rebooted the phone to enter into CWM recovery, however the problem started.
My phone is now stucked on the LG logo screen and would not change. I left the phone in that state till the battery went dead. Recharged the phone and it remained on that screen.
Tried to connect the phone to the PC to flash it with smartflash, but it doesnt work at all. I removed the battery and held the volume down button while plugging in the usb cable. All i see is the phone stucked on the white LG logo screen.
Is there any way that i can reformat the contents of the phone or is my phone certified?
All help would be much appreciated!
Power up directly to cwm by pressing power button and volume down key at the same time.
Once in cwm, full wipe including /system and reflash cm and gapps.
Good luck.
I have tried that method as well. Sorry. Forgot to mention it in my initial post. It didn't work. I have tried to pull the battery, hold down the volume down and power button for at least 20 times now. Each time i get the same screen. The CWM menu does not come up.
Any other ways?

Hmm.....if u can't power to cwm directly then perhaps try smartflash to any stock rom.
1. Download any stock rom
2. Start smartflash app from pc
3. In power off mode, just press volume down to boot to software update screen. Start smartflash stock rom.
4. Boot up stock rom
5. Install rom manager and flash cwm from rom manager. (Or download cwm from Rusty! Cwm thread)
6. Boot to recovery
7. Flash cm rom
8. Flash gapps
Remove battery, hold both vol buttons and plug in USB. Screen should stay blank, but Windows will pick up an APX device. Now NVFlash back to stock and start again.
yup, tried the exact method that you suggested too. But it doesnt work. Still gets stuck at the LG logo.

This method worked! But i have another problem, windows found an APX device, tried to install it but failed. It says driver was not found. Do i have to install a specific driver for this to work? Thanks!
Yes, good point: http://android.modaco.com/topic/335...k-rom-release-v10b-dated-1300166062-15032011/
I have managed to flash the phone and it is back working now. Thank you so much for your help rusty and temasek!
Hi, first post, hope the thread is not too old.
Unfortunately this is my best chance.
I have the same problem on my O1:
Updated from mik's beta 6.5.7 to beta 6.5.8 with the clockwork manager, at the reboot, I was stuck on lg logo.
Unfortunately usb + both volume buttons didn't work.
It remains still at the lg logo.
Pressing home + both volume, it repeately reboots.
In every case I can't go in recovery mode, so I can't wipe the system folder.
Any help will be appreciated,
thank for your time!
PS: sorry, maybe thread in p500, cm7 will be more appropriate.
hold power button + volume down button for 5-10 seconds may work, phone will reboot into recovery mode, then you are able to flash a stock rom or restore your nandroid-backup (if you made one)
good luck, hope it helps you
thanks, I saw a useful post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18531050#post18531050
Then I proceded as you wrote.
Now I'm stuck at adroid logo, without the chance to wipe cache.
The recovery does not start: loading bar and then forced reboot...
I don't know what to do
nvflash
maybe you try this link
android.modaco.com/topic/335416-nvflash-setup-instructions-drivers-links-active/
Sorry, i don't get the link working, copy it in your browser, then it should work (i'm posting with my phone that's why the link is'nt correct, but it works with browser, i tried it out)
If the link doesnt work, search 'nvflash lg p990 instructions' with google, you'll see the modaco website with the instructions and the download links
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
Thank you. A few hours ago, I managed to make it working.
Thanks for your answers, I appreciated.
nvflash is the way to go. Always make sure to use the usb ports on your motherboard (back of your computer) and not some usb hub or so.
Had a black screen for 8 hours, not able to boot, flash, recover or anything.
Changed usb port and I was able to flash the phone again.

[Q] Only 'X' is being displayed and then reboot help please.

was using my nexus one as i was switched it off removed the sim card from this phone placed it in another phone... left my nexus one on charge and turned it on left the room when i got the vibrate didnt even saw wether it was completly on or not... came back home saw the phone off... tried to turn it on but it wouldnt.... then connected the charger to the phone then turned it on and it shows a X and a unlocked sign at the bottom stays for a while and then the screen gets black and the same thing happens over and over again
Its going in a reboot loop I think.
Try going into the bootloader by pressing the trackball and power button together.
and then enter bootloader and then recovery.
In the recovery select reboot.
Btw do you have a nandroid backup?
I do have a backup lying around somewhere but i'm not sure of that. And i tried that boot loader thing but when i go to that menu as soon as i press the volume - button the phone boots off again
did you try the 3 finger:
pwr/vol-/trkball at same time may take up to 20 seconds to boot into bootloader
or, may need to use fastboot from command terminal and flash new recovery/rom like passimg to go back to stock then upgrade from there
pass image method is in wiki
Try this:
- Press the power button and the trackball together
- Select Bootloader and then Recovery
- Flash a different ROM (Stock\CM\MIUI\or try flashing again your current rom)
- If it doesn't work, flash a new rom AND wipe data and cache

Cannot boot in SW Upgrade mode

I'm trying to flash original LG .kdz rom but I cannot boot in SW Upgrade mode
what I do:
1. remove the battery
2. hold the vol down button
3. plug the USB cable.
what happens:
the LG logo is displayed and after several seconds the screen flashes (like something will start) and then the phone goes off.
I have clockwork recovery installed and custom rom .. I what to try the stock V30 ICS
ANY idea why is this happening ? and how can boot in SW Upgrade mode ??
don't remove battery and try again
be sure to install correct drivers and you should see S/W Upgrade not the LG Logo..if its still not working try it holding harder.

Hi,
This should help you restore your phone to working state:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2179126
i already have seen some tutorials where butt my problem is connect the phone with pc, when i press the power and volume down the lg gives-me the error i said and the phone turn off, so i don't know how to connect the phone with the computer ...
just downloand open europe v20a flash it with kdz flasher remove battery put usb cable while holding the volume down after you mast have install lg drivers run kdz flasher slect the kdz and press flash put the battery back and leave the phone the program will freeze is normal dont afraid and after when the phone open unlock your booltader first root it and after downloand rom manager and flash recovery through this app but is not touch recovery is normal recovery
Can't this be solveed by simply reflshing recovery?
The phone gets into s/w mode so just type from terminal
-> fastboot flash recovery "recovery.img"(change with name of img file in this case)
Obviously try with a recovery different from the one you already tried with

Custom Recovery access

Hi everyone, I've been reading several posts on the LG L90, particularly the D415 which is what I have and I do not have one thing clear.
How do I access the recovery mode when i turn the phone?
Yesterday I almost break my phone to test a custom room that was not discharged well, luckily I had a backup. If I did not have the backup, how I would initialized the phone?
Thank you everyone for your comments
Please forgive my English, it is not my native language.
With the phone off, hold VOL - and PWR buttons. When the LG logo appears, release and hold PWR button again. Wait for the blank screen to show up asking if you want to reset your phone, select YES twice and wait. If you have custom recovery, it will boot CWM/TWRP, if you are in stock recovery, your phone is going to reset the factory image IF you still have stock ROM in /system partition.
Another method to complete reset partitions and files to the factory image is to hold VOL + and plug USB cable, you phone will enter in download mode and you can follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-flash-stock-kdz-offline-lg-l90-t2803479
Thanks
Thanks for your help
