Since Homeslice built all these other roms from CM10.. is it absolutely necessary to do complete a wipe if i flashed from CM10 to PACman??
Yes I tried it either won't boot or you get a bunch of FC errors

Hi I have a nexus one that I had flash for my friend using cm7 ROM. what its doing is when it receives a call the screen goes blank after answering and doesn't want to wake up. Until, the other resin has hang up and its been like 30 seconds after. Is there a fix for this or is,it ROM related? I have tried two different versions of.cm7 and still no dice
Thanks in advance

Yes, it is a problem with the rom.
Do you know of anys ROM that doesn't do that? by any chance?
Thanks

Yes, the newest CM7 dailies and the eruoskank kangs (specifically what I use and I know they work correctly).

Temple Run for Android has finally been released! I think this link is right, I'm sending it from my phone so I'm not sure. If it's not, you can pick it up from the Facebook page as I can't find it in the market yet.

I've been getting force closes after almost every run.
I haven't... are you running ICS?
Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk
Yup. Haven't updated in a while though. What ROM are you on?
Sent from my XT862 using xda premium
AndroWiz, CM7 based rom.
Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk
Hm. Maybe it has to do with the HW Accelerated graphics not working on CM9. Can anyone else on CM9 confirm force closes?
Sent from my XT862 using xda premium
I don't think its ICS. Works fine for me running Gummy
Must be me then. I'll try flashing gummy and give it a shot.
EDIT: Flashed Gummy and I still got a force close. Didn't get a chance to test extensively because I have a Calc 2 test tomorrow morning, but it FC'd with the first 5 minutes.
I installed this on my MIUI rom based of Hashcodes's CM9 and it fc after first game/ when I click replay.

Now I'm really confused. When I installed Gummy, I did so after a clean wipe: /system, cache, delvik, data/factory reset and it still force closed. Hopefully the company that made it will release a patch soon.
I love my vivid but every once in awhile it'll freeze or get sluggish and you need to reset it. So I do, but everytime I reset it, it goes to a screen saying android is updating like its downloading ics all over again? What's happening?

Lol its not downloading or reinstalling ICS all over again...
What happens is when you reboot it clears cache (too much cache can cause problems...like slow down apps) because the coach gets cleared it has to re optimize the applications
So all that's happening is the apps are getting re optimized...
If you don't want this to happen then you have to get a deodexed ROM, because this is just a feature of stock ICS roms...and stock ROMs are always odexed...but any custom ROM will be deodexed for the most part...there's a rooted deodexed stock ROM if you want to keel it stock

Oh okay. Didn't know all ics devices did that. I bought my vivid off amazon from some random dealer so I didn't know if they had screwed it up or something. Thanks

Its Chinese not Korean. And seeing as its just our official cyanogenmod ROM with a touchwiz theme it should be OK to talk about it here I think. There is a camera app in the play store called cam dictionary that can translate using the cam. I think I actually have that ROM on my PC I'll take a look in a bit.

My bad its based on cm but its by the same guy who made the sense 4.1 ROM that Jeanrivera discovered. I just stuck it in a non aroma zip but can't get it to boot. Got it to flash though but it keeps bootlooping

Howdy.
I've just flashed CyanogenMod 10.1 - 20130315 to my droid 4 with Safestrap, and I haven't been able to boot into it; the cyanogenmod splash screen with the rotating wheel graphic shows up, but it spins for upwards of 40 minutes without doing anything.
I followed the guide on the cyanogenmod wiki for the droid 4 device. The forum won't let me post a link to it.
Before I installed I wiped / factory reset, and after install I wiped cache/dalvik; still no dice. I've tried doing the same process several times (even wiking the system before trying to reflash), but the same result has always occurred: ever unhelpful eternal wheel...
I'm a bit at my wits end; I haven't been able to find any other information about this that wasn't solved by wiping cache / dalvik, so I turn to y'all for help.
Are installing on ROM slot 1? Also, you used to have to wipe data before booting the first time. Not sure if this is still the case but might want to give it a shot.
Sent from my Droid 4 - LiquidSmooth
That would be my guess too, make sure you created a rom slot and flashed to that, rather than flashing to the stock rom. The only roms that work when flashing to the stock rom are stock-based roms such as olegfusion or eclipse.
Hey guys don't shoot the newbie, but where can I find the how to root post???
