How to maximize battery

I read on another post something about maximizing battery life using rootwiki. Could someone explain

I think that they were talking about the 1% increment mod that was posted on rootzwiki. I used it myself and its pretty sweet

Does this mod acutally improve the battery life, or just change how acurate the display is?

It actually decreases battery life by a bit, as the OS has to read the value more often.

I think this is also another contribution to why HTC devices have low battery life.

Why is this drivel allowed in development?

Jesus H. Christ, XDA has fallen on hard time when this is ok in development. No wonder TBH, Cyanogenmod, etc aren't using XDA at all anymore for development, announcements, etc. It's filled with 6th-graders who can't/won't abide by simple rules.

What thing you don't know? Without basic logical knowledge it is dangerous to look around on xda becuse you probably will shout for help in next days then..

Well i agree to Rayman96 you should ask exactly what you want and somehow... i don´t know but theres a little Secret Webpage called GOOGLE maybe u use it sometimes. I dont want to flame a new member on XDA but we can´t think for you. Maybe try a Different Rom there are Manny good ones here got tons of more Features than Original CM10 for example the LG or MIUI Camera app and even on Google play are some usefull Camera App´s.
Ass always said... use Google or the search funktion of XDA ! 90% of any question sombody asked was asked Before.

I dont´t Flame but you should seen this yourself that so many people just open new threads to any little thing they don´t know instead of using their brains.
I high on droid now for solid 4 Years But if i wanted something to know i used google in first place. When i joined here it was quite tempting to ask for every little think in a Q & A Thread but luckily the auto fill when you want to open a thread opened my eyes.
And if you haven´t seen this but i recommended him to search for an app in the market too or simply change to a great rom of our awesome developers.
Maybe try a Different Rom there are Manny good ones here got tons of more Features than Original CM10 for example the LG or MIUI Camera app and even on Google play are some usefull Camera App´s.

I Quitting getting in on this but...
Why the F**k is there a FAQ on every electric device every made. Sure there are Questions or problems Completely new.
But the "Bad Quality" CM Camera aint one
if You Type "cm 10 Camera Bad Quality" in Google you got 4.210.000 Hits on that so obviously this question is not new.
Very ironic is that the first hit on page one is "TADA" XDA-Developers, but an other thread. therefore this question was asked in XDA as well.
I Help anyone with Problems even Here i said something to the solution of this problem Again I´ve said:

So if the tone get a little ruff than everybody scream´s "oh my god what happend to XDA" or "Flaming noob´s" for my knowledge noob isn´t a very friendly expression for someone who is new on some arae.

What can you tell me about the One.

Hi guys. Have gone back quite a few threads in here so apologies if this has already been asked.
I am coming up to the magic upgrade date and am very keen on the One. I have been on xda for nearly 2 years now and know that this community is the dog's and you guys can help me out. I know it all comes down to personal preference, but seeing as you have had the phone for a few months now can anyone give me any comments, likes or dislikes or reviews on the phone? I am asking the same question on the xperia z page as torn between the two. As you can see from my sig I'm using an ICS right now. I don't really play games, look and build quality is important as is the camera and battery life. How does the camera live up to other phones out there right now?

Wow. Amazing review man, really detailed. I've had virtually no complaints with my ICS. It may just come down to price when I eventually upgrade, and I kinda fancy something different to HTC, but this review really confuses me even more, so thanks man!

The mods gives out points that leads to being temp banned and if you continue or do something stupid they can ban you for good. This isnt posted anywhere because they claim its like explaining the law for loopholes so no one can push the system to see how much they can get away with. Pretty much the mods have the power to ban you if they need to it just depends on the mod and what you did they also can strip you of your title if your a developer or themer

It's VERY sad that some people even questioned whether I was joking or not, but I halfway expected it. I mean, when I said "no one has brought up battery life" that wasn't a clue? Hello!!! That's what it's come down to around here and even though I was joking I was also testing to see what responses I would get. Disappointed but unfortunately not surprised.
I think I will just chill out until I get another phone because there is obviously nothing left to discuss here, it's always the SOS. Did I miss some fun? I already moved on to a Lumia 521, but still have been following what's going on with the Exhibit. I do remembering making a comment or two to Cam in that thread which I can't seem to locate now. Odd, because I wasn't complaining about anything.

I agree, but all I can do is bite my lip, don't need to get kicked out, I also have a Galaxy s blaze, talked about my exhibit and how it is a horrible old out of date phone yet we have way better development, there 4.2.2 only boots and nothing works, but omg if you mention the exhibit has had working 4.2.2
