[Q] laggy video rec

currently on gx v22, today checked out the vid rec and found out that the vid rec is laggy as hell,i mean when i start the rec it would lag for two to three secs for eg: it would lag on the 12th second and bamm jump on directly to 15th sec and its persistent
tried out with some third party apps like lgcamera,camera zoom fx etc , the photo mode is fine only the vid rec is laggy,jus wanted to know from those who used gx v22? wat is the problem? any soln rather then installing some other roms over again?

i've gingerdx v22
and recording is very fine
try wipe and reinstall the rom

thnx and i do that every time i install roms,well i wanna know from specifically for gx v22, is it me who is facing this lag or others too who used gxv22

one more thing was even using third party apps also it lags,so cud be the libs?

wats dat for? i have like this in my system of rom too? u mean i edit those settings in my media profiles.xml? am on gxv22 stock kernel

all Gingerbread have that.... you can edit or.... cwm flash if you arr lazy on it

thanks buddy,it helped, just edited manually , but after rec vid when i press stop the screen goes all white and i have to exit camera ,

It could be laggy on ur x8 but load it to pc... etc and u wont notice any lags while watching!

Criskelo ICS V6 rom comes with the ICS camera app ( which is free on Play store by the way).
And I already replaced the stock camera with it...
Only that, when I hit Panorama mode app to force closes/crash..
That's the info I got from the developer:
Hello,
Panorama mode requieres HW acceleration, maybe this ROM (Criskelo V6) has some unimplemented features. I have tested on official Galaxy Note ICS rom and it works ok. Sorry.

Gt i9000 Problem with Camera (especially video)

Hi everyone...
i have this rom : cm-9-20120611-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd
Camera have some problem.
Sometimes Camera doesn't work (not so often).
ALWAYS Video Camera doesn't work!
Any solution?

which rom did you use previously. did you follow the instructions as stated on the CM9 Nightlies thread.
I'm thinking this is caused by some installation problems, Try reflashing the ROM and see if it helps(with wipes if required).

U r having a camera hardware issue
i had the same problem on my htc Nexus one camera works 1/10times
then i removed my camera n cleans its metal pins n fixed it back..
n now its work 100/100 times
just try to clean ur camera once n c
this must a caused by fone getting dropped on the floor ...

Try CM10 its smoother and faster with killer features like Google Now,Offline voice typing,Project Butter,New notifications let you , comment, or reshare without having to open the Google+ app. etc..

It should be done after clean wipe. I don't have any restart.
Camera is working fine for me
EDIT : is everyone facing camera issue or someone having OK Camera
Again Edit : I have added camera and camcorder screenshot and bulid.prop without tweaks if some one has problem.
Replace it in ROM, clean wipe and then install rom again

Infact after trying camera, I am facing random reboot also, means it get reboot when screen goes off .... don't know whats happening to my mobile.....
In fact now I am planning to install RC 3 again and then will try your CM 7 ... Meanwhile if other guys facing same problem..... please post the same here

The problem still persists .... is there any chance by which you can post non-tweaked ROM (means its solely depends on availability of time and data plan which you)

I can but only tweaks are in build.prop not in any other file. so there is no logic to post it
Try pimping the rom. IT MY HELP
Edit : Is the problem with only default cam or all camera apps

The problem is not with the camera but its restarts problem followed by using camera app ....

Big Problem with DPSManager :/ Please help ;/

Hello guys I have problem in my Ace with dspmgr. I was trying to install beats audio from google play and after this there was a problem ;/ My ace "told me" that the dspmgr must close and I can't do anything ;/ What now? SOUND DOESN'T WORKS ;(( ? Please help, i don't have sound ;(((

I think u use one musicplayer app. Beats audio really not improve music quality your phone.

Do a full wipe and re-flash your ROM. That should do it if it's a software problem. Can you give a link to which Beats app you tried to download from Google Play.

I've bought this phone on ebay with CyanogenMod 7.2 by TeamAdreno with standard ADW Launcher , I didn't install it , cause it was inside my phone when I get it (i think it's from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1493143) with fire_kernel and another things and believe me, in antutu benchmark I had almost four thousand points (exactly : 3974) and in Quadrant two thousands points in final reason ! I don't know how to install this "super kernels , ROM's and other things" Is there another option ? Can I install again ONLY DSPManager without re-flashing my system ? Maybe if I delete this m*******cker files from this "beats app" which are inside my phone , that the DSPMgr. will works ? But where are they ? :/ Please answer ... And sorry for my bad english but I'm from Poland and I'm using Google Translator

You could try uninstalling DSP manager but I doubt if it will work
To uninstall DSP
Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>DSP>Uninstall

Lmao dude. You bought your phone modded like hell and you don't even know how to use it? That's what you get. Start from scratch and learn yourself. You'll face a LOT of problems if you don't.

First, uninstall that beats app. Settings>Applications>Manage applications> *find the app* > uninstall. Then download this. open that app, go to settings, all the way down and enable root access. then go to system/app/ and delete DSP manager. Reboot. Download this. put that app in sdcard and use the file explorer to move it to system/app. reboot.
Try and tell if it works.

Maybe I need to install a new firmware, actually I have XWKT7 and i want the same to install it on my phone, but where I can find it and how I can install it (sorry for stupid questions but I'm a newbie ) . Please answer . I still don't have sound :/
