Hi There!
I'm helping out a friend to buy the phone that he wants.
I would just like to know if Galaxy S III I9305 offer 32GB Internal Memory?
I've been indeed tried searching through different online sites already.
But I haven't found any 32GB being sold or shipped.
I would really appreciate your help guys.
no, it doesn't

Thanks for the replies.
So does this mean that the info from Wikipedia is misleading?
I'm really confused because there is a source that was cited which I am not quite sure if it's truly legitimate.
If this really does give false info, then it should be subjected for correction. Am I right?
from my experience this is good source:
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4238&idPhone2=5001
In Europe the i9305 comes with 16GB or 32GB. Here in Switzerland are both available (in stock) in black.
16GB is more than sufficient with a 64GB SDHC to accompany it.
I never heard of 32 GB version
It seams to be diffrent depending on where you buy it.
Here in Sweden we only have the 16GB model so far.

Is this true? i9305 has 32GB in Europe?
Does anyone else agree with this?
There are different replies which are very confusing.
I really need clarification on which one is correct.
Anybody else could care to help?

Yes this is correct, I also have a 32GB version.
Here in Switzerland the I9305 is only available on the carrier Swisscom (the only one with LTE) in 16 and 32GB and only black
http://www.swisscom.ch/en/residential/mobile/devices/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-32gb-4g.html
there are also different retailers that have it in stock
you can get it for around USD 680 from different retailers (contract free and also sim- and netlock free)

Thanks for the info.
I appreciate the link you posted. It's really rare to see a 32GB version of I9305. Maybe it's only offered with your carrier?
Because I have also tried exploring official Samsung websites for different countries as well.
Haven't found any with 32GB. Only 16GBs.
Now, I really am looking for a seller/site which offers this item for shipping.
I would be grateful if someone shares a link.

Maybe that's true with the carrier..
I can provide you with some links from retailers in Switzerland but I don't think they ship abroad or to the european union...
But why not 16GB + SD card?

I've been thinking of that.
Maybe I'll be informing him that getting a 32GB might really be an inconvenience.
32GB has a great capacity but really difficult to get so I would most likely recommend him to get the 16GB instead.
Besides, it's really no issue because it is expandable up to 64GB.
Anyways, I really appreciate all your help guys.

Has anyone managed to get a 32gb variant of the i9305 shipped outside of Switzerland? Or purchased an unlocked one from an online retailer? Any links would be much appreciated.

According to the manual it supports up to 32GB. You could go visit a shop to actually try a 64GB card..

Biggest difference is the network bands that are being used.
The 03 seems to be for EU/America's and the 33 seems to be for Asia.
Don't quote me on it tho.

Hello, so I'm interested in buying the Z3C from Clove, the D5803 model and I"m from India.
I've read that the only problem will be that I won't be able to use 4G.
So otherwise everything will work on Indian networks? Internet, calling, 3G??
Thanks for your help!
http://dl-developer.sonymobile.com/documentation/whitepapers/Xperia_Z3_Compact_D5803_D5833_WP_1.pdf
Apparently the difference is in the 3g and 4g Bands.
Also the D5833 is the only one to have TD-LTE which is popular in Asia (According to wikipedia) So i'm guessing 5833 is the asian model and the other is the "rest of the world" model.

Thanks. Yeah, I read something about that.
I'm just wondering if I can use that model in Asia. Cause that's the only model available in Clove and that site has lowest price by far compared to any other online store. So I was just wondering if I could use the D5833 model in Asia.

If you are buying fro Clove because of the price difference please be aware that in most likelihood you will have to pay customs duty which will pretty much match up the price you will pay for it in India. I bought the D5833 model with the Indian LTE band from USA. My friend bought it for me and is now in Kerala. Waiting for him to courier it to me.

Alright, thanks for the warning. Although I checked using the duty calculator they provide and it says I have to pay around 4,000 to customs. That still makes it a lot lower than the Indian retail price. Although I'm not 100% sure it's accurate

I agree. However, given that the phone is already selling in india at a much higher rate and if the customs guys have any idea about its selling price in India, I would think that they would tax it to equate your invoice with the selling price in India. I'm not certain on this though. But there is indeed a chance. This is not discourage you. The phone is now available from ebay.in for 39990 with full sony india warranty.

True. I'll probably wait a few more months for the price to drop.
I'll make sure before buying the phone from Clove to see how much the customs will cost. Thanks

I answered your PM but I can get back here if others are interested, phone arrives tomorrow, it shipped on the 9th but lagged in customs for a few days.
Thanks for the info. I ordered one from them as well, but I wasn't able to view the model number. I hope it is an "FD".
I would be curious to see which CSC this phone will have and if you will be able to use Samsung Pay with the US sim card. I have a S8+, supposedly with Taiwanese CSC and can't use SP - it requires a Korean sim card.

Yep, it's FD, both SIMS in and working fine. No, it's not region locked. Yes, it's a carrier phone. No, you are not stuck with useless bloat, it's stock Sammy but downloads a few apps during setup which you can delete. You didn't ask but you'll be glad to know they threw in a US Samsung charger.
I'm not sure if this constitutes taunting or not but I haven't been on Sammy since the Note 7 and I'd forgotten how many features they have salted all over the place. I've been screwing around for hours and still haven't got my setup in yet.
Oh, one other, other thing. I didn't see any way to enable LTE on both SIMS, it seems you can do either one but not both together. Isn't an issue for me but that bugs some people although I don't recall ever having a phone that could.

HI All, I am ordered the note 9 from PDAPLAZA the N9600, to be able to use dual sim. I live in Canada I will be using it with Telus and rogers. Looking at the forums here it sounds like there are some issues using this model with the networks in Canda.
Can someone please who bought this model in Canada comment if the phone work fine with the networks. Also any limitation like play store, pay app, or otheres.
Also, if someone bought it from PDAPLAZA can you comment if the phone comes with English or Chinese?

I got the SM-N9600 from PDAPlaza. It works fine, but the one thing I'm looking into right now is how to change the country code easily to a Canadian one without completely flashing the phone (as the firmware available for that specific model doesn't have a Canadian option, so I'd have to go with SM-N960W firmware, and I'm not sure if flashing with that version of firmware on a model number that doesn't match will have any negative effects). It's not a big deal, except that Samsung Pay doesn't work and assumes I'm in China. The other option I've read is to just keep it as it is and use Google Pay instead.
If you come across anything on that topic, let me know.

I just got it in the mail on Wednesday (ordered it on Sunday, so pretty quick turn around over the long weekend). Everything was totally sealed and when you start it up you can select English right off the bat. I just got rid of the additional Chinese keyboard language settings and made it either English (US or Canada). The charger is an Asian one, but they send an adapter with it. Also, the cord is USB, so it can be used with any other plug-in. I'm not sure if that affects the fast charging, so I'll probably get an induction charger instead anyways. If you're switching over from a different brand, the Samsung Switch app is awesome. I just finished it and got everything, including my messages transferred from my iPhone.

I received the 512GB from PDAplaza, it is great! for some reason, I found it much faster than the unlocked one 512Gb i bought from amazon US Version. Please note the device comes with Chinese first, you need to change the language, samsung pay and samsung members are stuck to hong kong.

How much internal storage would depend on your storage needs and how long you expect to keep the device. On a 256GB device actual space is around 200GB when system memory is deducted. The 512GB variant is hard to find, Samsung's US website doesn't offer it in the Verizon or Unlocked Models. I saw only one new unlocked on ebay at $2000 USD. Unless you're in a contract with Verizon or you need mmWave you might consider switching to Tmobile. Samsung US has the 512GB variant with no trade-in for $1380 USD.
