how to dissemble/assemble nexus 4 - Nexus 4 General

This is a video, I found that shows how to dissemble the nexus 4 safely and put it back together. it is meant for those that like to fix their nexus 4's themselves. I like this video because it gives us nerds a chance to look at the internals of the device and it is very useful if you repair your own devices.
I nor the person who made this video is responsible for you breaking your device if you attempt to do this.

If you're not seeing the video try this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZDAIgwbXk4
Its very informative, thanks for posting.

That is an excellent disassemble and reassemble tutorial.

Have I missed XDA disassemble report?

Nice post, thx!
Hope I won't need it

Thank you! Very interesting video.

sounds great no ?
Sounds great but it doesn't mean anything. Until they actually unlock the bootloaders it's all just talk.
It's a step in the right direction.
At least they'll review it.

[Q] Need advice for a skydiving video competition

Hey there guys,
I need some advice in a personal issue! i did skydiving a few months ago and now i am participating in a video contest on youtube! the thing is, the guy who gets the most views wins a sponsorin for a full license!
I gained almost 2000 views yet, but that is not enough to win the competition!
so, the question is: do you guys know some methods, to increase the views in youtube in an efficient way?
the problem is that the video is not uploaded in my channel, so i cant do video-responses, modify tags or the title in "lady gaga naked" or something like that ! not that this would grab MY attention!
I´m not thinking about DDOS or somethin illegal!
Do you have some advice in this case?
The link is listed below. If you klick it without knowing any advice it´ll help me either !
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZZPgKFF1BA
thanks a lot for your help! and sorry about my bad english !
Greetings,
chefkoch
Evryone loves skydiving. Just post up the link in as many places as possible and let the fates decide!
Watching the video the instructor makes me laugh. He looks like he's in his element hurtling toward the ground at 120mph. Crazy!
How did it feel dude?

TL;DR
1. Either have somebody crash to their death or crash on someone to their (possibly mutual) death.
2. COSPLAY!
3. NAKED! <- might chaff
4. Weird landing targets! Like a giant pair of bewbs.
5. Skydive into the snowy mountains, snowboard down and cause an avalanche!
Tape it on you iPhone 4S with a crash landing.... if you get what I mean
+1 on Naked though

pulling the chute pin oh about 100 feet before landing might do it! nah.. just kidding. If you want to get many views post as much as you can in as many places possible. I was thinking you know facebook is one good place. a friend of a friend and before u know it it's viral!

I have to admit, that some of those proposals might catch some interest! unfortunately the video already exists and none of your ideas are included!

otherwise, all of you please click the video! this also helps!

It is a frameless case that uses and adhesive pad to keep the tablet attached. So it won't be loose.

I am amazed at the amount of vague thread titles on all forums, not just xda.
Favorite examples include:
Hey guys! Did you see this?!
What do you guys think about...
This is so awesome!!
Please advice...
I think everyone should start a new thread for every single time they buy an accessory for their Nexus 7.
Then create another thread when the accessory comes in and make another for a unboxing and another for a review.
everybodys an asshole
Just posting it. So hard to click a link, huh?

Hey guys! I made a thread reviewing this thread. I'll post the link later.

First review

http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/29/google-nexus-4-hands-on/
This isn't a review. Its a preview.
The only real review sites are the following:
- Anandtech
- Heelsandtech
Everything else is simply a preview with personal opinions of the author mixed in to %#&! it up.
If I had to take a preview of any of the 2nd tier sites out there (theverge, engadget, slashgear, etc) it would be gigaom since they are truly unbiased.
Thread topic is a little misleading. Regardless, good video.
The Verge did an amazing job with their news handling for these devices today

They can be good but they don't include battery life tests so I don't count them as real reviews. Just went through 4 different reviews on their front page just now and none of them had ANY battery life test sections. Plus they DEFINITELY don't have the knowledge base Anand does.
Either way its just my personal preference
Maybe it is just me but did anybody else notice that all the lockscreens in the videos are using the pattern to unlock and not the slide to unlock?
Well I only did see the one in this thread and the one from the verge but still it was something that I had noticed.

It's not that unusual as it is an option and perhaps they didn't want anyone snooping on those phones that wasn't suppose to be.

Yea it can be that. But I was eluding to the possibility of perhaps they got rid of that lockscreen option for the phone.
Hands-on video. What a beauty of a phone!!

Usually they post their battery test results on their blog.
I guess they prefer to post the review ASAP and then add the battery results (I suppose since they take some time to do).
I really don't like the glass on the back. Has Google not learnt anything from Apple?

I wouldn't take any one of those, a.k.a. Anadtech, who post some test results without imforming it's based on pre-release software as superior to others.

Anyone open up a TouchPad?

Anyone open up their touchpad to replace a screen or other reason?
After opening it up is it difficult to close it back up? Do the gaskets get destroyed? Any idea where to purchase new gaskets if they do? Do the clips get destroyed? Any tips for someone opening it up for the first time?
In this section just 2 posts below yours is a thread with comments advice and pictures .

I've read and posted there but no one really said anything about the gaskets being destroyed or any particular difficulties of assembling the unit back together.
I don't mean to spam but I was hoping a separate thread would get more traffic and give me a better insight to my problem.
