unlocking blackberry bold??

okay guys i know this is off topic section... i have a friend who just bought a blackberry bold from Australia and brought it back to singapore...... do u guys know anyway to unlock it... for free???? or a pretty need app where u keyy in the imei number and you'll get the code??

Out of curiosity, why on earth would you ask that on a Windows Mobile forum ?

sadly there is no other way to unlock this phone, its done by a code calculaor, the cheapest i unlocked mine for reliably with a reply with my code within 5 minutes was £5, but that was a fiver well spent, i dont trust sites that offer it for 2 dollars or something daft, and if ya shop around, a fiver i about the going rate with money back guarantee.
i used BBunlockers.net, very pro setup and fast, usually send ya 3 codes in case 1 or 2 dont work, the very first one worked for me.

I know man, what was it with mine and your gen's being raised by the hallucinations of our parents? Everything on TV back then was an acid trip or stoner show for kids. I loved it and still watch some of it. Now everything is PC and made by people who have never had a beer in their lives. Look at kids nowadays, and people wonder why they are the way they are. We slept in the back windows of cars on road trips and licked the led paint off the playgrounds. We're still living and in better health than most youth.

I'm pretty sure either the devs know about it, or it has been mentioned before. What is it with noobs suddenly finding all the bugs in a rom, and the older members not seeing them? Must be their bad eyesight. GPS usually uses more battery. This thread has been reported by me, and I hope it gets removed and you lose your post count.

To tell the truth, the topic starter is right. I am an experienced user, flashed my hd2 hundreds of times, first it was wm, now android. I communicated about all problems on other resources, have lots of posts there and none here. And now I've to solve some issues and want to ask in the thread of android I'm using, with no luck (very sad).

I'm having trouble understanding how this is allowed when I see other threads in OT not breaking the rules getting closed. I mean, if this is allowed, what should stop me from making 5 different threads. Like "Give TPAM a nickname", or "Would you rather...". I'm fairly positive if I made a thread like that, it would be closed. I'm not mad or arguing, I just want to know how it works.
