create a folder for example android on your storage card
copy the following files into:

http://polaris.lurian.net/~zmc/linwizard/initrd/gizard-latest/gizard/haret-0.5.1.exe
create a file: default.txt that include this:
set MTYPE 1229
set KERNEL "android.zip"
set INITRD "initrd-android.zip"
set CMDLINE "root=/dev/ram0 ramdisk_size=20504 init=/linuxrc panic=30"
bootlinux
run the haret-0.5.1.exe an click to run button
wait for very long time, more than 20 minutes

I have the Problem that on my HTC WIZARD 100 (Vodafone VPA II compact)
the kernel boot, swtich to black screen, an see a "red point" moving from left to right an back. but after some time the red point stops and nothing more
happens...
do you have the same problem ?

I get an error when trying to unzip the andriod.zip or should I leave them as a zip?
I click run and it just sits there doesn't seem like it does anything.

I placed that file in the same directory as the other and when I click the exe the screen goes black with no option to click run. It displays "unable to open log tiny_console_int done. Cannot open script file \storage\program\files\haret\linux.ha"
Ok now I have the red dot going back and fourth. It seems to freeze after awhile. Looking over the default.txt you put up I noticed that you forgot a quotation mark and I added the word "boot" at the bottom since I see others have that in there default.txt file.
default.txt file looks like this below:

set INITRD "initrd-android.zip"

with zcat /path/to/initrd-android.zip | cpio -iv you can uncompress it.
But where to enable debug or telnet to get more informations
and maybe see why the boot process is hang

If ever u need testers i have a wizard. i have tried the zimage and it loads linux on. i could work around with some functionality.. play some games .. but there is nothing on GSM or Wi-Fi capabilitites. the internet folder is blank.

Hey people i also tried android but it doesn't work, i tired GiWizard (Gentoo Linux, i took it from http://tinderbox.x86.dev.gentoo.org/embedded/linwizard/gizard-20080602.tar.bz2) and it works but has nothing fun in it, no good graphics, no look or feel or nuffin else. Dont know why android wont work, it need a config.txt file that i couldnt find anywhere on the web. Can anyone of you help me?? I really wont it running.

Let me tell you they are of no use you wont be able to run android with them on your ppc, coz i couldnt also, but if you do manage to run it do tell me how. What happens is a red dots keeps on moving on the screen but then halts or sometimes just keeps on moving some say it take 20 mins but i have teste for abt 30 mins i got no results do tell us your experience.

hi,
in general you shouldn't be that impatient, this is a huge community with members spread over the globe, so users do not only have different time zones from yours but also different usage behaviors and activity periods
it's a little rude to complain that nobody helps after only one short hour after raising a question...some things require more response time than others, so you should allow for that time
so back to topic: no problem, I will attach it, as I expect you want the X1_HardSPL.exe which then provides all the rest when executed
call back if you have other issues

I am having a problem with a game called Need For Speed Shift on my sony ericsion x1. I try to install on my phone, but for some weird reason i can not run the game. I seen that it works on my phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbbqdTY-EUo
It says that it could not find s3e.icf, either embedded or as an external file.
what does that mean?

We would ask users of Galaxy Note's to do one thing, a favor to me, the next;
- Not sure whether to be mobile rooted or not to "catch-down" these files - I think you should, but I'm really not sure.
In Root Explorer or another Explorer to the folder / system / then / app / there are 6 (six) files that start with the name * SEC * MMS, these files should have the extension *. Odex and *. Apk ... I would should those six files, then copied them to someone with a cell phone to your computer, then the Zip, to upload some of the services and throw me a link here (rapidshare or something like that).
Why is that? I have a Korean version of the notes and can send SMS messages only up to 80 characters, but with a 81st sign exceeds SMS to MMS, I had those six files in this version (SHV E160S), but when I tried to solve the message "bug", I deleted them without back up and now I came to my mind that you might try to insert files of the (European) version Note so I can give just a try!

I'm now on Miui rom with android version 4.1.1, and when I use the file explorer, I found that my music category was looking strange, as I know very well that this category should not built up to more than 1GB (not even with all my music file added up together), but now it's 3.75GB. and when I press the music category, it shows a lot of files without file names dated 16/01/1970 !!
Are these files actually exist? or is just some kind of bug? Does this take up space? Really appreciate if any one can help me here.
I tried to delete the file but failed, the system doesn't respond at all! can anyone tell me what I shall do now?
