My absolute Best Accessory for my GN2 - Galaxy Note II Accessories

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A6U0N56/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00 You CANNOT beat the price for this quality.
Double battery lasts 2+ days...I don't have to worry about listening to too much music and plugging in every night or during the day.
Great customer service from Hyperion in the USA.
(I broke the plastic back while unpacking and they quickly sent me another.)
Of course it makes the phone thicker which I actually like cause I have big hands and it won't fit in cases but to not worry about battery running low it makes good sense for me.

mine lasts all day easy i cant run it down i ca t be heavy user i always thought i was

I feel the same. 3 Oem batteries total and oem battery charger. I can go a week without recharging.
Those extended battery doors are ugly and of low quality finish and I like having a pretty phone. Plus there are no cases that fit that door except if the manufacturer releases one for the product and that will limit you to that case or perhaps a slim bumper.

I spend so much time driving, Having a car dock (ProClips) keeps me at 70% average all day. Driving from one place to another. 15 minutes here, 10 there. Keeps it topped off

Besides being hideously ugly I absolutely love it.

Heh, couldn't agree more. Hyperion is a highly respected company in electric R/C car racing, so I'm sure it's a high quality battery.
But that sucka is big!

I have the Hyperion for my S3 and never got the hours that I did with the OEM batteries so with the Note 2 I decided to get the OEM batteries and as the previous poster mentioned that. Provides all I need.

I've always had these super ugly extended backs...
Thunderbolt
SGN
But this phone, on stock battery is a beast...I think at best I'll buy a backup battery, but even hammering on this It lasts all day.
13h 55m @ 38% in area's with crap signal all day
oh and 3h21m screen on time.

i don't understand why not just get these?
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...ery+pac,mobile&rh=n:2335752011,k:battery pack
if you're the type of person who can't manage to charge your phone every night, I assume you have a backpack of sorts you carry around with you. put it there, and bring it out when you need it.
i realize this wholly a personal thing, and it's your life, blah blah blah...but really though, just get a battery pack.

^^^ not to mention it doubles the weight of the phone and without good cases for these, you better have insurance when you drop your phone.

Yeah I'd get that battery pack and a second oem battery.. Done with the whole extended battery experience (had one for my s2 and hated it,. And didn't even need all the juice
Plus I just dropped too much money on cases for this phone.

I swear by these guys for all my accessories and batteries, going on 4 phones now. Very satisified customer.

edit: and says it's compatible with holster, agian, very satisfied buy.

This is by far my favorite of the 3 holsters I've previously owned for various phones by the same company. Phone sits very secure with no fear of falling out at all.
Interesting, the price is a bit steep but not too high.
I would like to see some higher res pics from a few angles to get a better idea of what the case cover looks like.
I have the holster but how do you know the extended battery fits the holster? From the single photo of the battery cover, it looks like the top sticks out as much as the area below the camera...

Yes I did see that though from the photo it does not look like that's the case. Do you really think it's compatible from that photo? I've had the extended battery for the Storm and the holster worked fine because the battery cover did not extend on the upper portion where the camera is. Guess we'll have to wait for someone to actually dive in but in the meantime I'm sticking to what I can tell from that photo on their site.
Reasonable price? depends on what you think is reasonable. You do realize that without either the battery or the phone, the other is pretty worthless. I think it's a great price considering crap motorola batteries are $30
got this from seidio, just an fyi, they must be talking about different holsters or the listing might just be plain incorrect.

I ordered this, and its been shipped already and I am awaiting arrival. I also have the innocase and holster combo, and while I know the innocase wont fit, I will try the holster and report back if that one works.
any idea which case will work?
:/
I got mine today. Huge battery
The replacement cover is ok, although I am afraid it will accidentally slide off in my pocket.
Overall, the added bulk really doesn't make a huge difference, in fact it makes it a little easier to hold.
Can't wait to see what the battery life on this sucker is like.

I got mine today too. I also like the added bulk. It fits my Seidio holster, even though the innocase that I got with the holster wont fit. Made of the same material as the innocase so its hard to scuff etc. I'll report back after a few cycles to let people know what I'm getting usage wise out of it.
UPDATE:
Well, it came off the charger at 3:30pm today saying 100%. I have been hammering it mercilessly for 6 hours now. Streaming Pandora for six hours straight, Turned on GPS, set all of my social network notifications to the quickest pull intervals, and my mail also. I have had the web browser open for nearly three hours, had three calls of around 20 minutes each, and my awake time since I pulled the battery off the charger is 100%. I am sitting at 75% right now. I am trying to get the battery low so I can get a full charge for the next cycle, but this damn thing won't go down. I guess I'll try to download a game or something and play it while listening to Pandora. This thing is a beast....
This is a beast. Used it all evening last night, and the power meter did not budge.
Also the new back makes the Hero much easier to hold.
Waiting for a day in the office where I have a weak signal to see how it does there. I'm guessing this thing will make it through a day or two no matter what I throw at it.
By far the best accessory...
Awesome, guys, glad to hear this thing is the real deal. I'm thinking about getting one but I'm waiting for the price to go down. Anyone know if they usually do? Last extended battery I bought was only $7, this one is pretty steep.
I found a better deal but not in stock ATM:

watch out for these kinda deals, i'm fairly certain seidio's waranty doesn't transfer to 3rd party sellers completely.
I had purchased a battery from seidio previously that was DoA, and after a conversation with their RMA department getting my invoice number and all that, they said they will replace bad batteries from anywhere but since I purchased through seidio directly they would send me a replacement without having to send the old one back first (or at all, they just said to pitch it). The battery that was sent to me was tested with a full power cycle before being over-nighted to my door.
I don't know, it's something to think about. If I'm getting a quality piece of gear, and the service to back it. I don't mind throwing out an extra little bit.
I'm on my second charge. The phone has been off the charger since 12pm on Sunday. I am sitting at 70% on Monday at 2pm. I'm really liking the usage I am getting out of this. I did not beat on it too much yesterday, just a lot of normal use. I figure at this rate, I will have to charge it every three or so days. I'm hoping it improves after a few cycles, even though I've only charged it twice so far. I'm going to run it down to 30% or so before the next charge....who knows when that will be lol.

Love my 2150 but went back to 1750

The 2150mah is a wonderful wonderful battery. I am glad to own it, and for really heavy users, or those will be out and about all day, it is definitely a great investment ... so long as you are ok not having a case.
But I started to think about it and realized, having 68% left at the end of the day is wonderful, but do I *need* 68% at the end of the day just so that I can risk damage to the phone? I don't think so.
With the low-effort battery charging trick (charge with power-on, when green, select power off, and wait for green again; NO NEED TO UNPLUG), the 1750mah provides a full day of usage, but will fit in a case.
Anyway, while YMMV, I think the bragging rights on battery power do not outweigh the risks of damage.
My 2 cents.
FWIW, you could do this and still have a case protecting most of the phone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=703332
yah i like extended batteries but i dont want to sacrifice the case
Welp
Well ... I did a proper charge this morning, and played with Nav, maps, a few games of freecell, emailing, 1 phone call, and am still at 74% with my 1750. I think the 1750 with proper charging is the sweet spot.
Will the Innocase fit over the phone with a 2150 if you have the battery cover off?
For what it's worth, I bought the 2150 and, following the advice I received from another xda thread, just cut the back panel out of a soft case. Though much of the new expanded battery back is exposed, the camera lense is actually much more protected than before. And, of course, the screen is now protected from dropping. As a bonus, the phone looks nicer and the obnoxious bulge is considerably less noticeable.

Thank you for your 2 cents, it has earned interest.
I was considering which battery to get since the stock 1300 seems to last ALLLLLMOST the whole day for me with heavy usage and having it plugged into USB at intervals when I am at my desk. I need something to last all day or nearly so without plugging in at all. I prefer to stick with something that fits in the stock case so I'll go for the 1750.
Thanks for sharing!

I guess that I am a moron. I don't get what the low-effort battery charging trick does. What do you mean by no need to unplug? I understand the steps, but don't you need to unplug it when you go somewhere?
I just bought the 2150 the other day and I did everything I could think of yesterday to completely kill it. I had it off the charger all day at work (I usually keep it plugged it at work), I played slacker for about 4 hours a few of which were in my car and didnt use my car charger (I always have my phone plugged in when driving), played about an hour of "traffic jam", sent numerous texts, talked over bluetooth, had GPS on all day, and lastly used SportyPal for an hour when I put in my bike miles. After all that and 15 hours later I was finally in the yellow. With that said I do love the extra juice I get from the battery but I dont think I need it over the 1750. I am going to order the 1750 and see how that holds up. If I like it I will return my 2150.
Anybody have a good and semi cheap case idea for extended batteries? Or pouch

Review: 2000 mAh Battery for Mytouch 3g

So one of the biggest flaws of the early android phones (in my own opinion) has been battery life. One of the quickest and simplest options for early adopters is to buy an extended battery. So that question remains where can someone get a reliable battery? Well after perusing forums and coming to the conclusion that this field seems to be relatively untouched, I decided to splurge and buy the 2000 mAh battery by Seidio.
Normal retail price is 60 dollars but I found mine on mobilecityonline for 30 dollars
http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wireless/store/productdetail.asp?productid=25418
Note: I am currently running cyanogen 5.0.8 stable with the community hero mix theme
First impressions: After unpacking the battery, it is THICKER but that is to be expected. It comes with a replacement cover which has a matte rubbery feel to it. Feels good
WARNING: The battery cover will not accommodate models with a 3.5mm jack, so if you want to use this battery you may need to do some tinkering
First day of full use : After putting the battery through two charge cycles I noticed a GREAT improvement on battery life. Starting at about 11AM with some light browsing and youtube, battery was still in good condition. Afterwards a few hours of mild calling and texting and finally some more youtube and browsing at about 7 or 8 along with plenty of texting. By midnight the battery was still at 75 percent and lasted through the night and allowed me to watch some more videos until about 3 in the afternoon.
That's all I can say about it so far after 3 days of use.
Definitely a battery to consider if you need a little more life in your phone from day to day, Follow up review, video and pictures coming soon!
Feel free to leave comments and questions, and if you decide to buy one give us your thoughts!
well im looking into it now, and just to make sure it will work with my htc magic from rogers with no 3.5jack, right?
because for 30$ its worth it to have better battery life IMHO
That's my issue is that I'd love to buy an extended battery for my 1.2 but I haven't seen any battery covers that account for the headphone jack. I'm sure you could rig it with a Dremel or something.

It seems easy to cut a hole out for the 3.5mm jack, I'm sure you could do it fairly easily
it just hit clearance for $19.99. Really wishing it had the option to choose a white cover. I may get one anyway though.
Seems they just cleared out their stock of it, anyone out there get one from mobilecity before they sold out?
Have no fear though, theres still plenty of vendors you can get this product at (for a slightly higher price, but I think it's worth it)

As far as I understood the battery is thicker then the stock one, so the original cover won't work.
They have a lot of different batteries on aliexpress DOT com.

SafPWR Fusion 2 Case

I picked up the SafPWR Fusion 2 case today from AT&T. My usage so far hasn't been wearing the battery out, but it is an 1800ma case that goes with the original 1600. So that should be enough power to sync everything like a madman, and screen at 100%. lol
Will update after a couple of days to let you know what it is like.

Yuck... I didn't know it was that thick.
It isn't twice as thick, but it is pretty damn thick.
It is heavy, I can tell you that (with the phone). Without the phone you think, hey this isn't to heavy. LOL.
Still deciding if I am going to keep it.
I have been using this case since I bought my vivid over a month ago. It definitely adds some bulk to it, but it also does a good job protecting the Phone. It doesn't look/ feel like it would be very useful as drop protection, but I have dropped the phone multiple times on hard surfaces (I am 6'3") and the case has taken all the damage.
As for the 1800mah battery in the case, I have been less than satisfied. I almost feel that it was a typo and should have said 800mah. When my phone hits under 20% I turn the case on, if I am not using the phone at all while the case charges it, I can get it from 20, to about 80-90% before the case runs out of juice. If I am using the phone moderately while the case charges it, I am lucky to see a 30% improvement before the case goes dead 1-2 hours later.
I will say though, that if I let it charge from the case in my pocket, and do not use the phone, it DOES charge pretty fast from 20 to 80-ish percent.
If I want to use MHL, I have to remove the phone from the case, but I believe it works for data sync, etc in the case.
I plan on continuing to use this case as it hasn't let me down yet, and the extra battery life (though not 1800mah worth) is definitely a life saver.
Just my short review. Hope it helps!

I was worried about this. I am trying to figure out if I am going to keep it. I really like the way the Speck case looks, and that is what I was going to get. I ended up getting the battery case, and the one that looks like a tire with a leather back. They had the otter, but I just didn't like it. But I can never make up my mind with cases and phones lol.
Well, I just boxed it back up. I had it on the charger for like three hour and the phone wasn't fully charged and neither was the case. Case was only half charged. DO you have to charge them separately? Or can you charge both the phone and the case at the same time.
I have this case. If you let the phone and battery case die you have to charge them separately. ( the actual inst. Booklet that came with it tells you.) as far as feel the phone itself is to me a little too thin. The case feels great after the first couple days. I will say this they give you an extra top piece wherd the earphone jack goes for a reason. Mine broke the first week so be careful!

I would too. I recently ordered the OtterBox Defender. I think I would rather have the protection over the extra battery life though. I already had to get the phone repaired after it fell out of my pocket while I was jogging...
I got this case also, too heavy and thick for my liking. It barely made it through half a day. I can do without

I just bought the Safepwr today from the Local AT&T store for $50. I love it, my inspire had the PowerSkin and this is so much better. Usualy by this time tonight, I have my phone on the charger, it is still fully charged with only half gone off the Safepwr. This alone is giving me twice the battery life.
Just fyi,
I hated the feel of the Vivid compared to the inspire, Long and very hard for me to use the keyboard, with this case it feels real good.
Initially, you have to charge the case with out the phone inserted. Mine took about 4 hours. Make sure that the phone is fully charged. It works great. The case continuously charges the phone. The phone charge icon comes on, when the phone is below full charge. I understand that it is thicker than the phone alone, but you are pretty much adding another battery.

I bought this case for my Vivid on eBay for 15$. I thought it might be a knockoff, but so far everything looks legit. I've yet to try it because this came in before the Vivid (still waiting for my phone to be delivered )
Btw I know this is an OLD topic but just wanted to add my 2 cents in case anyone else is thinking about the case. From what I've read it seems there's a specific way to use the case to get the most out of it.
Will post back for the sake of anyone interested

Review: ZEROLEMON 3500 Slim Power battery + TPU case

First off let me say that I was provided this case free of charge for my honest review of the product. First off I'll list the pros and then the cons of the case
I also did a full video review here https://youtu.be/l0LRHzFdsVU
Pros:
More than double the battery life of stock
Well designed
Feels good in the hand
Cons:
Wireless charging doesn't work
Spen harder to remove
Bulky
Mines coming up as well.. Pros/cons are basically the same..
I have been using this case for several days now, and I can report that it is a very well made product. The case is surprisingly easy to slip onto the phone, but feels secure once in place. It adds bulk, but no more than my 2 piece heavy duty case that I had been using. The biggest difference is that it does add a bit of weight, although it is quite manageable. I normally take my phone off of the charger at 6:30a.m. and put it back on around 11p.m. with about 15% charge left. While using the Zerolemon battery pack I managed to make it from 6:30 in the morning on a Monday all the way until noon on Wednesday. A full 55.5 hours without plugging in! I may not use this case every single day with the added weight, but is definitely something that I will be using on travel days, and long weekends. It has more battery power, and the case offers significantly more protection than the much more expensive competition. I would definitely recommend this product to those that are looking for more power when you are not near an outlet.

If you leave the phone alone while it's charging with the case you can get to 100%. For example I only use this case when I work 17 hour shifts at work so if I get down to 15% just put the case on and leave it alone you can get to 100%.

Okay, I think I see what your saying. You can get the stock battery life again, you can double it. I was thinking double stock sounded like it was twice as powerful as the stock battery was all.
Mind you, I don't think mine would. Even accounting in for pretty heavy drain while it was charging, it wouldn't charge from 0 to full.
Does somebody know or has try it this battery fits to Note 3?
