Frends,
I went to buy the galaxy s I9000 to the Samsung outlet... The salesman told me that Samsung have stooped the old model Samsung galaxy S... instead they have new model of Samsung galaxy S i9003 ... is this model can b use for flashing the Roms from this development thread of Samsung galaxy S I9000?
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk
19003 is a cheaper model of i9000. I9000 is still sold.
Nope... I9000 and I9003 are diff... These roms should not be flashed on I9003...
Oki thanks for helping me...
Is that still sold ? I came to know it's selling in online website ... thanks

i know that the 4.0.4 is out bechuse they are selling it with Phones here in Iceland.
Ics is meant for high-end phones, galaxy mini have unofficial port which have problem with drivers, ics version won't change anything... and its all in cm9 thread, so next time do some reading before you post dumb question
Many sites are reporting about Samsung android phone running touchwiz vulnerable to a bug which could remote wipe the device. The articles list galaxy s2, s3, but not note. Can any expert confirm whether our note is vulnerable or not. As Samsung says they have already patched s3 and a patch for s2 is in works.

Not mine, not according to: http://dylanreeve.posterous.com/remote-ussd-attack
There's a safe test linked from there and it failed to work on my Note. Stock, 4.04

This is in the category of S6500 not any other phone (in your case samsung galaxy mini) I think it should get moved by a mod or someone .
Goodies for you!
I have installed link2sd on my phone!
Now the problem i m facing is that
I have installed app havin size 6mb now the phone shows its size is 13 mb, which is deducted from my internal memory!
Now when i open link2sd it says the app is on sd card!
If the app is on sd card than why the heck 13 mb is deducted from my internal memory!
Doesnt make sense!
Now it happens to every app i install!!

size increased due to cache and all .move your app manually to SD card and see the result.. Tick all files.. Try check opposite ways and which way increases size of your internal memory

I'm stuck in 4.3 [DBT-Germany] firmware with a broken USB. So, can not use Odin from PC to root my device. And on my device, my WiFi is not working, its not turning on!! I tried 'Framaroot' to root my phone, so that I can flash 4.1.2 by mobile Odin, but it is showing 'error#6' .
Please help . Is there any way to flash ROM or root my phone without using PC...

Wel.. This is actualy the first time I read about someone having a broken USB which really sucks when you want to root your device. With my basic knowledge, I don't see a solution atm.
If you have one, pleas tell us @JJEgan, instead of pointing to stickies every time. We're still here to help one another.

Read the question first. I have to root my phone without help of a PC/USB. AND, I'm on JB 4.3.

Thank you :good: . I'm still searching for a solution. I think, I have to wait for a newer version of 'Framaroot' app with support for JB 4.3.
