probably bricked note, what to do?

had stock rom 4.04 XXLRB, than i wanted to root using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
here i saw this :
Using CWM.zip (temporary/Touch recovery)method to root is said to be unsafe by entropy, and till safe release don't use it
Read This http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1810954 and i clicked on last link and via Odin installed CF Root kernel CF-Root-SGN_XX_DBT_LRQ-v5.6-CWM5.zip , i done that and later install TriangleAway v1.95.
Than wanted to install ROM LiquidSmooth » JellyBean RC 3 » 29th Sept, and i wanted to do via CWM mode, and all goes good untill i saw on display : Erasing the system.....i wasnt near phone 1 minutes and display was black/turned off. I aited some 20 minutes, and nothing. Than i decided to try to turn on, nothing, dead. I leave battery out for some time, put back battery....nothing happened. PC cant see phone via USB.
I guess this is hard bricked phone or maybe not. I googled for solution, nothing. Maybe someone have expirience how to fix this?

put the phone in download mode by pressing vol down +power +home

tried already few times, nothing, still dead

Try a difference battery or keep it in charging for a while. may be the battery is dead

will try, but battery was full just before starting rooting...thanks for replies man, will let you know

Press vol down, power house 20 seconds, Vol up later. Connect your phone to your computer and see if the phone detects PCOdin.
If it detects three file upload stock ROM GB.

tried all that, nothing happened. Battery is charging when i connect charger, i can feel phone is hot.

PC Odin does not see your phone? And the computer when connected to the phone seems a sound?

You probably do not have the Samsung drivers installed on your computer.
Download Kies network and install the drivers off Kies. Start Odin and try again later steps in my first message. Do not worry about the black phone screen. It is important that Odin saw the phone

he installed cf root kernel via Odin so drivers should be there right?

now i am updating Kies, and i guess will install drivers. You said Press vol down, power house 20 seconds, Vol up later....whats mean Vol up later ? sorry but need to ask steps....there is a hope

Yes same thing happened to me but i landed in a soft brick. It says erasing system and self restarts the phone after which i was stuck at samsung boot logo. I was on stock rom, rooted it, install hydracore kernel, flash cm10 then i flashed liquid smooth. But during flashing some symbol art appear with a message system erasing and then it restarted.

I killed my phone

So
I was using saurom v2.. everything was good when i decided to try ics.. i tried to instal tiramislim v2.. got problems rom never installed.
i downgraded back to gb jw4... rooted.. then tried the f4k ics rom...
failed to install it and now i can't even downgrade.. everytime i try my phone just stucks on odin or fails..
any idea?

i managed to make it jvu.. then went to make it jw4
now i can't even enter download mode.. screen stopped working or wtf..

Take out the battery for 1min.

Try removing the battery and then try the 3 button combo to enter download mode. I thing Odin failed because when you tried to install F4 it changed partitions and when you wanted to downgrade to jw4 you did not repartition with 512 pit.
When you enter download mode remember to install the 3 file stock rom with 512 pit and repartition checked.
After installing the stock rom before proceeding with jellybean remember to backup your efs folder ( you can search xda dev how to do that)
I strongly recommend going with Cyanogenmod 10 stable. Its very fast and with the latest semaphore kernel runs like a beast.

after i made it jvu i wanted to make it jw4.. it was doing something else.. i forgot the names now.. and then the screen just went off
removed the battery many times but nothing. i am charging the phone in case it's the battery :/ i closed also odin when i saw it was doing nothing..
i think i did a serious damage on the phone. If it gets fixed i will try cm10.. right now.. nothing :/

I think Odin crashed my phone
because i changed 3-4 custom roms in some hours..
i saw some threads about how to put it back in recovery mode but nothing..
screen is black.. not responding at all : (

I think your battery died in the middle of the flashing process. When you charge the battery does it show the battery indicator charging ?

nothing at all..

Then basically your battery died in the middle of flashing process, you can try with another full battery and try to enter download mode by using the 3 button combo. If it does not it means you have to use a USB jig to access download mode. Once you access download mode remember to have a fully charged battery before flashing

so when the battery dies in the middle of flashing... i can't charge it?

Possibly not, you have to try with a fully charged battery before flashing anyway. I think if you touch the phone while on power and the battery is warm maybe is charging. If there is no sign of life or there is no heat at all maybe is not charging. You still have to try to enter download mode with a fully charged battery, keep trying.

i changed battery with external charger and tried putting it in download mode..

You have to try the dowload mode using an USB jig.

You can't broke this mode by flashing your phone, if an USB Jig don't work, you really have an hardware problem.

my pc makes sounds when i connect the phone.. then the sound that it got dc'ed
i don't think i will find a jig here.. nor i can make one.
i will give it to samsung service center and pay them..
if it gets fixed
1 week and more without a phone lol

Where you're from..? If you're from holland i have a jig for you... if not you can order one from the internet i paid €3,75 for it

i live in India i have the same problem tried repairing my phone but no result.....i gave it to a repairer he tried the riff box repair but nothing happened....and when i am charging the phone it doesn't heats.... if you get something done please update it on this thread, while i'm trying too

i guess i have to find a shop and buy a jig : P

you can order the jig on ebay... i got one for my phone... in continuation of the discussion going on, my phone is bricked as well... nothing is working... neither the 3 combo button or the JIG... also, when i plugin the charger, no indication is showing up... can anyone please suggest what can be done for this?
I checked with Samsung.. they have asked me to get the motherboard replaced and it will cost around 8K...

[Q] Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE P7320 brick during root - HOWTO recover ?

Dear all,
I need your advise / help.
Friend of my asking me for help to recovery his Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, he tell me that, during his root process, he brick his Tab 8.9. Now the tab is showing Black all time. I taken a look, and connected to Data USB cable, connect it to PC.
This WIN7 OS direct the tab and install USB driver. When I push on/off button, the tab seems reboot itself into loop. But the screen not showning anything at all.
I put it into Samsung charger ( not USB to PC). But it does not shown the Big icon of battery. But I know it is live. As the PC response with installing USB driver. But the USB drive was pickup wrongly, as some kind of USB reader. NOT the Tab 8.9.
What is the best way to recovery this tab 8.9 to factory ROM ? I did downloaded lastest P7320ZHLP8_P7320ZZHLP8_P7320ZHLP2_CL1174893_user_l ow_HOME.tar from sammobile.com and have ODIN 1.85 ready. I just need to find a way to get this tab into download MODE.
Can you help and advise.

If Odin recognizes the device flash the stock tar. The yellow com port will show up in Odin if it recognizes it.

Yes, I did tried ODIN, but it does not flag up yellow com port, as it needs to be in download mode in order for ODIN to connect the tab.

It sounds like you're hard bricked. If it's still in warranty Samsung should fix it. If its not look for a jtag service for the tab.

That's typical of a hard brick. It's not completely dead but the only way you'll get any firmware on it is jtag.

by the way, the tab still up running on battery, my guess if it I let it discharge itself, until battery flat, so it acturally shutdown.
Then charge it again, will it able to get into download mode ?

I would try it but I don't think so. I had a tab that bricked and all I could do was have Samsung repair it. It was still under warranty.

Finally got jtag service done. Now the back online.
But it was being installed with wcm recovery, how can I restore it back to factory rom ?

Use Odin to flash the stock rom. You can get the rom at sammobile.com. you'll have to sign up but it's free. You can extract the tar.md5 file out of the zip file using 7-zip. Flash the md5 file.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S - can't turn on

i tried to repair my bricked galaxy s using odin. Try so many thing but i cannot solve the problem. Then when im using odin i unplugged the cable from the phone when the screen show upgrade logo and now the phone cannot turn on. Please help me.

Cannot boot, cannot get into download, cannot get into recovery mode

I've tried to upgrade my Galaxy Note to ICS via ODIN. During the process, I've also select the PIT file which accompanies with ODIN. After that, ODIN said it's fail. Then I turn off my phone and it cannot turn on or get into any mode right then. I realized that It was my stupid thing that trying to do this upgrading without knowing much. However, I would like to get any help please!
Any ideas? Or my phone can't be alive again?

That guide is just for phone which can turn on, but my phone can nothing.

Jig, which can be bought cheaply on the web, can help in some cases to turn your phone on to DL mode. Otherwise, jtag riffbix can help, but it is more expensive and more difficult.
