Get back to stock rom

Hi, so I installed CM7 on my galaxy mini but now I want go back to stock rom but the problem is when I conect my phone to pc odin detect it I click start(I want GB 2.3.4) and on my phone screen comes up message samsung own update fail . And nothing happens. Plz help my.

ARM11boot_GT-S5570.tar Flashed this like BOOT (nothing more selected) and after that reboot phone to download mode and flashed by following the guide. Now everything works fine. This model only need TASS_V1 ops file, no PIT files for this. Successfuly flashed with XXJL9 fw. Thanks RIFF for bootrepair this phone! BR

be careful on flashing the bootloader buddy.. it can hard brick your phone.. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK..

Hehe. Now I bricked my phone. When I turn it on it just shows blank screen. But I talked with my Dad and we decided to make a jig usb. Well tomorow Im going to buy a 300k resistor and micro usb. Buddy i dont know if i am right or not but always remember after u flash a custom rom and u want to return to gingerbread ,,
flash all 4 files i.e boot , phone,pda ,csc files.. never use md5 tar files a single flash files ..if u do that 100% u gonna brick ur phone,,
always remember 4 flash files...

Hello,
My wife has somehow managed to get her galaxy mini stuck in a boot loop. USB debug was not enabled before this happened and I cannot see the phone with adb. I can get to download mode, does anyone have any suggestions on how to go from here?

what is the current rom? try wipe data/factory reset in recovery.. but user apps will be gone and settings will be back to default..

Install kies in ur pc
Install odin for mini
Dwnload tass.ops
Check for working usb cable and port
Dwnld any stock firmware from samfirmwares.com
Extract its contents and place it anywhere in pc
Keep ur phone in download mode...power+centre+down buttons when phone is off
Connect to pc while running odin
If odin detects your device ( to check this, observe a yellow bar in COM1 AFTER connectin phone)
Click one package, select ops, select tar.md5(stock firmware)
Push start
Have some water take a potty break
When a blue colour in COM1 is shown with pass in it...THEN ONLY DISSCONNECT THE PHONE
THE ABOVE STEP IS VVVVERY IMPORTANT
Use ur phone like before
Happy flashing and good luck

Thanks for the replies. I will try odin, im wondering if odin will work if I cannot see the phone with adb? It is currently stock everything as it was out of the box. The first thing I did was the factory reset but it diddnt help.

If ur from any cm7 or cm9 then this is useful.
first flash GB using odins u see the samsung logo boot looping now close the odins ,remove the battery,reinsert it and now enter into recovery and wipe data and cache. (I do the same thing when I flash gb from cm9)

It seems odin is windows only? Does anyone know of a good tool for Linux?

[Q] Help Needed in Unbricking Samsung Galaxy Pop (GT S5570)

Please help me out on this....
(Sorry if I posted in wrong section)
I successfully upgraded my Pop to gingerbread 2.3.6 and rooted it. It was working fine for some days after which It got messed up
when I updated the titanium backup app from the market. The app asked for some su permissions and suddenly the screen went blank.
After that I realized that its a hard bricked. The screen is blank whatever I do. I searched for many tutorials to unbrick it but no fruitful results yet.
I tried a lot to enter download mode and after several attempts luckily the three button combo worked and it got shown in ODIN on some port connected.
When I started the process of firmware upgrade it gets stuck in "Connection Setup Phase".
Does USB Jig method is worth trying in this situation ??
Pease tell me the solution of it. I am attaching the screenshot of the ODIN. Please Please Please help.

what is on your mobile screen download mode or something like phone--!--computer picture
ok whatever try this
close Odin, turn off mobile, start Odin and put files turn on mobile in download mode connect the cable and start flashing
PS : phone--!--conputer shows on the screen when upgrade get fail, not to worry it is just like another version of Odin
until you can light up the mobile its not a hard brick
I will suggest you to use firmware which are available without bootloader as you were previously on gb, just to remove the risk of hard brick

There is nothing shown on my screen...
no computer like symbol....
nothing whatever i do...
It just goes sometimes in download mode when the 3 button combos is pressed (very rarely), gets detected by ODIN but stucks on connection error...

First of all delet all drivers on pc and install them new, just to be on the save side! Then get firmware for your country i suggest you to use 4file pack no the 1file ones! Then get odin v4.38 put your device in download mode and conect to pc put all 4files in the right place in odin and start flashing!! It should not take longer then 6min!! Let odin finish when you see blue pass disconect and be lucky!!

Have you tried using a different port? Or a different cable? Also, try unchecking the reset time option on ODIN.

there are two data cables of the same shape but their holes (which goes in mobile port) are of different size try the data cable whose hole is much big
I will try to post a pic
in short use the original Samsung one

1st try flashing cwm via odin n then wipe data wipe sd partition n then go to stock rom via odin

Flash Stock Rom for ur device using odin..... Please do not do any thing you area not aware of..
Files the steps and will make ur device ok

USB jig only boots mobile in download mode
but you are saying you can sometimes boot in download mode so no use of USB jig is required
you should take it to samsung

Weird. I dont know how you could brick your phone with titanium backup app.
Your battery could be dead. Charge your phone for 2 hours.
Then try using Odin using a different USB Port.

Nop I charged my battery full with another battery charger before using ODIN but still the problem persist.
I think I have to take it to Samsung service center but my warranty is over so I think they will take a huge amount
to fix it.
Anyone still having some idea on this...

I gave my phone to service centre (warranty is over ) before few days and they told than some connector in the circuit is damaaged and need to be replaced with new
one and its cost is 4278 INR . Can u believe that ??? 4278 bucks. Its better to buy a new phone.

You should have tried another stock firmware or another USB port when your phone luckily entered download mode. Same problem happene with me & get solved by flashing another stock firmware.

The last night, i install the GREAT Kernel of Mr.Baugis, but i have a BIG PROBLEM.!
I don't now my brother did, but I think it went to recovery mode and made some adjustments(tried to install an android, I think) and restart the phone.I turn on, says the phone model and not pass the screen "Rafael.Baugis Kernel" I have waited up to 10 minutes to do something but nothing.
Really, i need help. I love this cellphone and i need it to work

Did you try clear data/factory reset and clear the dalvik cache? If you did and still end up in a bootloop, flash a new rom. If that did not work too, flash the default stock firmware through Odin. Hope it helped

If you are able to get your phone in download mode (volume up + volume down + power) then simply follow any guide from this section explaining how to flash multipackage stock firmware. If ur phone is not getting detected in odin, that is also explained in multiple threads here. As long as u can get the phone in download mode, you should be able to fix the problem. Let me know if u still need exact directions

I had the same problem like you have.
At first you must uninstall Samsung Kies and install these http://www.mediafire.com/?n412p5v6golq4sn official USB-Driver from Samsung.
Start Odin 1.85 and Run it as Admin if you have Win7. Connect your Ace and check if your device get displayed in Odin.
Then go into the download mode and flash your firmware.
If you can't get into the Download Mode you must buy a USB-Jig from Amazon or wherever.

i go to the support of my cellphone company (entel pcs chile) and they give me another galaxy ace TOTALLY NEW AND FREE
i'm so luck!

First I flashed CWM arcording to this thread as i cannot get rom manager to work?
Then I rebooted my phone into recovery mode via adb again.
Volia, I got my phone bricked, stuck in the glorious samsung logo never to move on. Not able to access recovery.
I then followed this thread and reinstalled the CWM for froyo.
Odin then failed. Reboot show a samsung logo followed by a computer to phone screen.
Tried flashing oem gingerbread but took to long so powered it off.
Samething still happens.
Tried One click unbrick
Samething
Download mode still works
Anybody can help?:crying:

Go to this page
Select Type [Smartphone]
Select OS [Android]
Select Model [your phone model]
Select Country [your country]
Then click on SEND
The page will show you current firmware and additional files ...
Download firmware ....
Download flash program from additional files ...
Then flash it ...

You know from the first post, the galaxy mini just kept showing that comupter to phone screen as shown before mentioned in the first post

thats the download mode with different screen
just connect and flash a 4 package file with odin

Can someone show me the way how. In the moment its bricked and didnt start.

For GT-S5570i, only Odin version 1.84 and 1.87 can detect the phone.
Unfortunately both version doesn't have the one package option to flash ....
So u need to split the original md5 file into PDA, PHONE and CSC 3 package files.
As the splitting md5 file is quite complicated just download following 3 files,
all this files were used to flash my GT-S5570i
(split from Original Samsung Firmware Android 2.3.6 released on October 2012) ...
For PDA
Download this
For PHONE
Download this
For CSC
Download this
For Flash Program & pit file
Download this
Don't forget to UNCHECK the Re-partition box.
If u want your country firmware to be split then give me your link.
I will split and upload it for u.

If u access download mode, flash stock rom, (donwload one from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551586 and flash) If it fails. Check your samsung drivers, thats often a reason why it fails, but i suppose u have them. Don't stop the flashing process until the odin says Pass in a blue box. If flashing fails even then.... its service center or if u can, use a usb jig. That's all i can think of..

Volia, I got my phone bricked, stuck in the glorious samsung logo never to move on. Not able to access recovery.
I then followed this thread and reinstalled the CWM for froyo.
Odin then failed. Reboot show a samsung logo followed by a computer to phone screen.
Tried flashing oem gingerbread but took to long so powered it off.
Samething still happens.
Tried One click unbrick
Samething
Download mode still works

Full wipe and flash again with odin downloader..
