As you can see above with this
messaging app you can enable
transparent background in settings
and you have the xperia style
chatting UI as opposed to boxes in
the cyanogenmod messaging app
Instructions:
1) Copy original Mms.apk from
system/app to sdcard, just in case
2) Copy the attached Mms.apk to
system/app and replace with original
apk
3) Set Permissions as demonstrated
below:
4) Reboot and enjoy
OR
1) Flash zip file in recovery.
2) Reboot & Enjoy!

same thing happen to me, it force closes when i open the settings in the messaging -.-

Is working great on CM7.2 , it;s very nice, but sometimes it takes a little time to load all the messages when you have over a thousands like me .

It looks pretty cool. The animations + the transparent background are great.

i tried as u instructed.....i did uninstall using titanium backup...then tried installing 4.2...again the same error message.......

Weird. Try wipe data too in TB before uninstal current.

I saw this posted on the portal and grabbed the link from there. My favorite feature is the swipe to archive as it follows with other google "swipe to dismiss" gestures. This is working great on my Kindle Fire running AOSP 4.1.2 and my Nexus S 4G.

Remove with TB, reboot, install apk, reboot.

The new Buzz Launcher

Hey guys, I just made the thread to let you know about the new buzz launcher in market. I own an o3d and an ob and the thing is really cool. Basically it allows you to view and download other people's homescreens and share yours, apps and widgets included, in a few simple clicks. Just try it out. Will upload some home screens when back home on the o3d thread. Have a nice day...

says in the description.... Android 4 (ICS) + only. Zeus is GB.

working just fine here on both my lg devices (black and o3d) stock ics. don't know what the problem might be.

why do they need permission like services that can cost me money ? is there in app purchase option ? i hate that i see apps with permissions like this. makes me feel paranoid but what the hell...lets try it.

no in app purchases but you use internet connection to download the various homescreens... anyway I think you will like it. It is customization at its simplest

[Q] 4.2.2 keyboard and vocal writing

I installed 4.2.2 keyboard on my n7000 with a custom 4.1.2 rom and it is working perfectly except one thing: I set up vocal writing but no microphone button on keyboard...
...any help?

4.2.2 Google keyboard...
When I tried a 4.2.2 rom that keyboard had the vocal writing, I flashed on actual 4.1.2 rom but there is not that feature...

does it need some other google app or feature to work?
I thought this section was better thet Q&A, we are talking about an app.
Please can you give me the link where download that you are using from? I want to be sure to use a right app, maybe it is not...

I solved the issue: to use vocal writing you must have google search installed... I hadn't...

[MOD-APP] Command Center Widget Droid Turbo 2

Command Center widget port of Droid Turbo 2.
Recalling that works on any launcher and does not need root to install.
Installation:
1. Download the apk and put in the internal storage.
2. Use a file manager to install the apk.
3. Access the location where is the Widgets of your launcher and add the command center on your home screen.
4. Add the city you want to see the weather forecast.

FWIW the flashable zip didn't install and trying to simply install the apk didn't work either on my 6p. I installed it using root explorer and dropping the commandcenter.apk into the system/priv-app folder and setting the permissions to rwxr-xr-x (octal 0755) and dropping the library.jar file in the system/framework folder and setting permissions to rw-r--r-- (octal 0644)
Widget is working perfectly
