Sent from my SM-G925R4 using Tapatalk
FWIW the flashable zip didn't install and trying to simply install the apk didn't work either on my 6p. I installed it using root explorer and dropping the commandcenter.apk into the system/priv-app folder and setting the permissions to rwxr-xr-x (octal 0755) and dropping the library.jar file in the system/framework folder and setting permissions to rw-r--r-- (octal 0644)
Widget is working perfectly
Everything works great except this area

As you can see above with this
messaging app you can enable
transparent background in settings
and you have the xperia style
chatting UI as opposed to boxes in
the cyanogenmod messaging app
Instructions:
1) Copy original Mms.apk from
system/app to sdcard, just in case
2) Copy the attached Mms.apk to
system/app and replace with original
apk
3) Set Permissions as demonstrated
below:
4) Reboot and enjoy
OR
1) Flash zip file in recovery.
2) Reboot & Enjoy!

Yes here some trick to do it.
Move the file to /system directory.
Change to correct permission (rw--r--r / 644)
Move to correct folder
So you don't get any bootloop
Yep i know that

now modded wit softkeys support...simply replace via any root explorer app
device sold..so closing all my threads.

How to remove it
I tried it out and installed it through CWM, I think I prefer using the normal browser.
How do I remove this? Please tell me. Thank you.
delete "PopupBrowser.apk" from "system/app" with ES File Explorer, or uninstall it with titanium backup.

Hello and Happy New Year to all! As the title says, I would like to know if there is a way to hide/remove permanently or temporarily those LG toggles, because I want to use another app, Notification Toggles from Play store. But the best I've managed to accomplish is this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is it possible to do something better?

I do think that is a coded and implemented part of the notification drawer itself...

Sounds like something i could do with a eclipse+sdk combo...
EDIT: seems like that apk have to be signed by LG too. Ended up with no UI and had to push the backup via ADB so i didnt have to reflash.
It did however work on a virtual android device, so it seems like a valid signature is the only thing missing(i cant use lg`s signature after uncompiling, editing and recompiling. It was password protected...)

I will try: change .apk to .zip, and then decompiling the single .class files into java files witch can be recompiled and put back in, and swithching out image file from .res folder.
But i dont know if switching filetype from apk>zip and then back will keep the signature...

Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
The OP in this thread, managed to mod the systemui.apk succesfully and change some elements of the LG UI with no adverse effects. Why can't the same methodology be applied in the case of the LG Toggles with positive results?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1854210

Extracted from the N Preview 3 for Nexus 6P and deodexed. New features such as themes and the ability to set your own image as the background on it. Also has a few new emojis which I haven't seen before.
Tested on my Pure running stock rooted 6.0. This is the arm64 variant, so if your device isn't 64-bit, don't bother trying to use it.
As usual, flash in recovery then reboot.
NOTE: The installer is set up to remove "LatinImeGoogle" in /system/app/ before installing this version. If your Google Keyboard doesn't have that folder named as such (ie you're using a custom Gapps package that installs Google Keyboard in a folder named "LatinImeGooglePrebuilt") delete that folder in recovery before installing this one.

It's called Falcon. It's in the play store but I found it on XDA. Nothing I have used comes close to this. It's fast, clean and customizable. I tried going back to Google Messenger after the last update but went right back to Falcon. Sort of ironic given the title of my post. But your keyboard is second to none Google.
