Has anyone tried the SanDisk Extreme Pro with our beloved N1? I'm thinking of upgrading my Kingston Class 10 but I've read that the SanDisk Extreme Pro is not compatible with some devices.

I am not sure if the n1 hardware has the capability to take advantage of this SanDisk's speeds. And it's too pricey. IMHO, a Class 10 SDCard should be good to go.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to speed of the HD2 microSDHC slot? That is, will I see much difference between a class 6 and a class 10?
Thanks!
SDSDQY-016G-U46 - as far as I know this is best card for HD2 so far
HD2 is not working best on class 10
class 6 is OK but still won't find better than SDSDQY-016G-U46 <- class 4 card
but it is not the same as normal Sandisk class 4
Cheers man
I'm going to find out in a week or two. I got impatient and ordered a PNY 16GB Class 10 MicroSDHC for Tablets from Costco (model P-SDU16G10TEFS2). They rate it as 15MB/s write and 20MB/s read. I thought my 8GB class 6 Sandisk Ultra SDSDQY-8192-A11M would be slow (due to being 2.5 years old), but I just benched it using SD tools and got 12MB/s write and 23.7MB/s read (go figure).
just a quick (no0b)
I currently have a 8gig class4 micro sd card in my vivid ics stock dedodex
8 is simply not enough, and i would like to get a 16ig
i'm wondering if this phone supports UHS 1 or class 10 cards
eg: http://www.sandisk.com/products/memory-cards/microsd/ultra-class10-for-android/?capacity=16GB
thanks in advance
Phone specs say 32GB
Hi,
After a bit of research I'm thinking 32 GB is the limit for the Vivid (though you might get higher cards to work maybe) . MicroSDHC will work (32GB limit),MicroSDXC may not...
Class 10 should work w/o issue
I am currently using A Sandisk Ultra 64GB SDXC. Works great for me!

Yes it will work.
confirming that it does work, i have a UHS 1 32 gig in my phone, works perfectly, though doesn't seem to speed up transfers (i dont think the phone can work that fast)

I have been using that exact Lexar card you referenced for several months. I used it first in a Galaxy S3, and then moved it over to the Note 2.
I have not had any issues nor corruptions, and have been very pleased with it.
I would buy it again without question!
please of anyone tested both cards tell me
i need to decide urgently
Thanx a lot

I would recommend anything but Sandisk.
i have a question ...
Is Class 10 really needed for Mobile device ... or only class 4 will work for Mobile full Hd record and Burst mode shooting ??

about sandisk's bad reviews - a while back they had an ultrabad batch of cards that failed pretty consistently and they gained a bad rap for it - apparently they're better / fixed now, but fwiw, i've had every brand fail on me (literally; patriot, lexar, sandisk etc) but I might be the exception to the usage details as I'm swapping machines all day
My last card was a Lexar 32 c10 and it worked perfectly for over a year. It's now in my wife's G3. I've been using a Sandisk 64 c10 for the last few months and it's also working flawlessly. I think you're fine with either one.
i got the Sandisk 32 class 10
that is the first step to do to start using it now ?
format on computer or plug it to the phone directly ?

You could simply plug it in to the phone (while it's off of course) and format the card within the phone as well
I have done that too as well. I recently bought a 32gb micro sd for my Note2 sgh-i317 and for my gs3 a 64gb micro sd sgh-i747

Hi.
From next week I will be proud owner of Xperia Z phone. Please, do recommend fast memory card. I used class 10 Samsung on Desire.
Now, I see that Samsung have Class 6 Plus, which are supposedly very fast.
In Croatia, there is nowhere to find SanDisk cards, so I will stick with Samsung.
So, my question is - which card to buy:
This - 16GB MicroSDHC Pro Class 10
or this - 32GB MicroSDHC Plus Class 6
Price is nearly the same (16GB is 3USD cheaper).

Both are ok.
only that the 32Gb must be formated in the device.will not be able to read it if you already have data on.(on non-rooted firmware as in my case)
Class 10

depending on the amount of data you have, if its not more than 10 GB i would definitely recommend Class 10. I have sandisk class 10 16GB in my XZ and i tried a 32GB class 6 the difference is very visible. if you can afford go for the 32GB class 10.
Also dont forget that you would need to format the card inside the phone for optimal performance
On Desire I used 8GB class 10, and had 6GB available couse 1,6GB was EXT4 partition. Of those 6GB on Fat32, I used 60-70% max with pics, music and recorded videos. So, better to buy smaller but faster, than larger but slower ?
It's up to you really, it depends on how much space you need. You are not going to be using the SD to hold any system files with the Z so it's okay that it's not lightning fast, I would go with the 32gb, unless you think that you'll never use that much
if i were you, i'd go for 64gb card.

I have a SanDisk card for my Z3C.
But I read that their recent products are even better. Any advice?

I have the SanDisk Ultra 128GB.
Wanted to upgrade to SanDisk Extreme Plus.
I have the Samsung 128GB Evo UHS-I U1 Class 10 and so far its performance has been excellent.
