Hi There,
This condition of phone is called ''BootLoop'' as the device keeps on restartiong/booting.
To Fix This Do This :
*Take your device to Recovery Mode.
*Scroll Down To Factory Reset.
*Press On/Off Key and wait till device will reboot Sucessfully.
## Note : This Will Delete All Your Data On Your Phone excluding
SD Card.
HIT THANKS.
Sometimes the problem is-the battery. It can move a bit at cause for your phone to restart. Just saying-if the hard reset doesn't work then this might be the solution

Ok so I can't boot into recovery when I press power + vol up or vol down.. so when I boot loop im gonna be screwed.. please help !
Rom is Android revolution + sense 3.0 parts flashed on.
Edit: the problem was with sense roms. Just turn off fast boot under power settings and it's good to go.

Have you tried disabling fastboot ??
If not uncheck fastboot option in Settings - Power - Fastboot and give it a go.

Your the man. I'll try that
Edit : that worked. I wonder what the fast boot actually does?

Fastboot makes it so your phone kinda goes into heavy sleep mode. It shuts down and boots up a lot quicker. As it doesn't need to fully load HTC sense and other apps.

So it eats battery when you turn it off?

Yes it is like hibernate mode on a laptop. It uses some battery to preserve the hibernates state, but not as much as in normal sleep mode.
Basically, Aroma froze while installing TrickDroid so I tried to send adb reboot recovery to the phone and got a nice message saying "error: device not found"
I tried holding the power button+volDown to reboot it but that hasn't worked. The capacitive buttons began to flash and I continued holding for ~1-1.5 minutes.
Is there anything I'm not doing correctly? I've been a long time lurker coming from a SGS2 and things are quite different with this phone so forgive me if I indeed am a noob.

Was, I managed to reboot my phone in bootloader mod, to update recovery and reflash one ROM
I've noticed with my Dev unit it won't reboot with the power + vol down buttons. I've gotten stuck in Aroma Installer a couple times like that. I just had to keep trying. It seemed to respond better when it wasn't plugged in to the charger, but that may be just me.

Yeah, I'd hold the power+volDown, just power, power+volUp+volDown and nothing was working. I unplugged it from my computer and kept trying to get the 2 buttons pressed simultaneously and eventually I did get it to work.
Already disliking the idea of a non-removable battery...

Aroma works fine on phones below 1080p.
Aroma must be fixed. We know WHY it locks up, it just hasn't been fixed yet.
I've had it lock up without touching ANYTHING.
Locked up on the first screen of a rom install.

I first installed twrp and it locked up the first time I tried flashing a rom. I switched to cwm because I'm much more used to that and I read aroma doesn't crash quite as often with it. Not sure how true that is but I like cwm better anyway.

Twrp crashed my first flash attempt and aroma mostly crashes right after the install is finished, during the install sometimes, and rarely when using the physical buttons to navigate it.
I haven't been able to use an adb command with either recovery when aroma crashes. Not sure if that's the same with everyone else.

If you can`t get into fastboot mode or boot up there is nothing you can do anymore and you have to turn it in for repair imo. Maybe someone else knows more about his but i can`t see a solution based on your info.
Keep your finger pressed on the power button and the lights will flash still keep it pressed they then stop flashing and phone will turn off about ten to fifteen seconds holding should do it. Once they go out let go of power button and press volume down button keeping it pressed until boot screen appears

I tried to find similar threads but didn't find something related to the problem I have, So here we go:
My GSM and I were having a happy life using [CM7.2][MiniScape v1.6] without problems. One day I decided to flash the Lewa lite MultiLanguage and everything changed.. At first boot the phone was normal, fast and without problems but then, Wild reboots appeared for unknown reason. After some hours thinking, I figured out that it was the Power Button.
When I press the power button (normal press) it doesn't lock & turn off the screen, but appears the power menu and after a few seconds: the phone gets a reboot. If the phone is off and I connect the charger, the charge animation appears for a few secs and then the phone boot normally (like if I wanted to turn it on).
I did the following:
Wiped data/cache in CWM and flashed back the [CM7.2][MiniScape v1.6] but the problem persisted.
Wiped again And Then formated data, cache, system partition and flashed [CM7.2][MiniScape v1.6] again but I were having the same problem
I haven't used ODIN yet because I want to know why is this happening. If the power button were hard pressed or something, the phone would turn on whenever the phone is off with battery, right?
What is your opinion about this?
It looks like the button is stuck.

I was going to do that.. But magically the problem disappeared.. I did wipe and format the partitions again and flashed the rom normally, and The problem with the button was fixed.. I also tried installing the Lewa Multilenguage and worked without problems.. The phone works fine now (and If the problem were still there, I would have used the lock & power off statusbar buttons). But I'm really curious about this.. I mean, what could have happened? It seems to be a software issue..(?)
