Did it fell? or it just happened? have you accidentally touched the bell icon upper right of the screen when the volume is changed? does it have some "waves", if that's the case just touch it again, maybe you are in vibrate mode.
more info please, and in the case that fell, just disassemble the back end and llok if the speaker is moved...

loud tone when pressing call end button

or any on screen buttons in the HTC dialer. anyone know how to get rid of it? its supppper annoying
A little more information would be helpful -
1. does this tone happen when you press a button while on a call?
2. if it does - does your other party hear it or only you?
3. what buttons does it happen on touch screen buttons or only the buttons on the front of the phone?
4. is this when you have speaker phone on or a headset or simply using the phone?
5. is it only when you hang up or any button at any time while on a call?
6. do the buttons make normal sounds when you are NOT on a call?
7. have you turned off sound on your buttons - have you at least tried this to see if it kills the problem?
Bill
when in the dialer go Menu->Options then Keypad: Off
ahh keypad tones off got rid of the annoying beep lol thanks! wish there was a way i keep the beep for the numeric keypad without the obnoxious beep that came out of the speakerphone part rather than the ear piece when backspace/ call history/ speed dial is pressed
jut realized it still makes the annoying noise when it connects to a call

Loudspeaker remains on

Hey guys,
I've noticed that my phone's Loudspeaker stays on and does not turn off (it makes a quiet shshshshshsh sound) as usual after 2 or 3 seconds after playing a sound it should turn off. but it doesnt.
This happens randomly, and i cant find exactly when it happens, and i have to soft reset the phone to make it right.
it uses a lot of battery power. when i feel that the phone eats up battery, i put the phone near my ear and there is shshshshshsh noise.
but after soft reset, it has great battery life.
any reason?!!
I just noticed this sound today! it is weird! wth is up with it? is htc aware?

So this is not my phone's problem only. I think the os causes the problem.
I've found that this happens after receiving SMS, if i'm in sms page (where i type message) and screen is turned off.
(in the sms page it playes a ding sound instead of sms tone. but sometimes when screen is turned off, it plays both 'Ding' and sms tone. in this case loudspeaker stays on with a noise, and eats up battery)
It should happen with every WP, so dont be worried.

problem with my phone's speaker

Hello there
wish you have an answer for my question
i turned the volume into mute on my sensation xl and left it in my pocket and then when i tried to turn the voice on, it says its on but nothing comes out. this includes all media files, notifications and games
no voice comes off my phone ringer. not sure if this can be a SW problem or did i accidently hit my phone into something that caused the back speaker to break?

Note 9 Sound Vibrate and Mute Issue

Received my note 2 weeks ago and love it. Having a little issue though not sure if is just limited to me. When ever i switch my SOUND to VIBRATE or MUTE then switch back to SOUND, the system returns all the sound settings to its original volume percentage EXCEPT for the ringer volume, its like defaults back to 5%/10%. In a sense, I keep getting missed calls after that. Is this a bug? Anyone else having the same issue? or have a solution to resolve this?
Much appreciated, thank you.

I did notice that this morning though nothing of it. Also I think mine is faulty.
If I am in a call and put it on to loudspeaker and start using my phone at the same time I'm getting all I can explain as noise pops from the top speaker
Sorry I should clarify that the ringer volume doesnt jump back to its respective volume percentage, it says at 5% and makes me miss my calls everytime.

(Help?) Noise from speaker when phone vibrates

There's a weird crackling/hissing noise that comes through the phone speaker at the bottom when my phone vibrates. It happens more frequently when I'm typing or touching the bottom part of my screen. Anyone else has this problem or am I the only one? Should I return my phone? Thanks!
