That's disappointing hopefully Chun will pull through soon when he's back from his vacation.
Yeah hopefully but I still have the rom
I was wondering what happened I was like where'd it go? I was just going to post a mirror. Maybe chun had it deleted. How do you delete a thread you make anyway?

I also don't think the rom was rooted either...can anyone confirm this?
Sigh... come on people follow the rules lol. Patiently waiting for Chun to save the Vivid lol.
Edit: nothing

The thread was taken down because it appears that there are still venom files in the rom it is under review.
If the moderator team finds out these roms the original by chun and the one just posted are being passed around via PM actions will be taken on the members involved.
Both these roms appear to be in violation of xda rules.
Using the work of others without permission and Turge has had made quite clear that he has given no such permission to any of the parties involved.

Sent from my HTC Raider X710e using xda app-developers app
The promising thing is Vivid users will soon have a working Sense 4.1 rom! I will try to reach out to Homeslice in the near future. Would be really great if we can get the community together to bring back Wildchild or Pirateghost to get their hands on a Sense 4.1 port (legally) of course.
Wild child will not be back...and has no want to be here...
Same with pirateghost

This is just a piece of the endeavour leak. But this will not give us sense 4.0.
On a side note I did get the endeavor leak to run on my vivid this evening. It's rather nice but I wasn't able to get WiFi,Bluetooth,or ril working so its pretty useless as it is.

Dude, can you please post a link to the Endeavor ROM you used? I want to port Sense 4.0 but all links at XDA with the leak were taken down it seems.
I think that post turned out to be useless it was just a overlay and real sense 4.0

After reading that, it appears that it was just a skin for the Sense Clock. Very useless. There is however the Endeavor RUU leak that has full Sense 4.0 and it has already been ported to other HTC devices. In fact, the whole ROM should be somewhat easy to port if what kozmikkick said was true.
Here is the link to that

Look at my signature. You can see what it does. The new feature that I am having testers use is not updated in the threads though.
Testing has been closed. Thank you to those who have helped as well as those who have expressed interest. It did not work so I will revise my toolkit with the newly implemented UI soon.
The feature that was in testing was to flash ROMs all through fastboot without the need of using recovery. So basically my toolkit would be your all-in-one tool from unlocking your bootloader to installing a custom ROM to your phone without even touching your phone at all.
I will continue to figure a way to make it happen. I just have to work with other devs to get more knowledge on how this all works.

Depends entirely on what your experience is. There's a big difference between learning to cook having never cooked a thing in your life, and learning to cook French cuisine if you're already a master sushi chef.
I'll play it safe and say I've never cooked a thing in my life, but my dad is also a system engineer and could help if I needed it. I'd rather learn without his help.

Start with an RUU. Run the RUU on your PC. Stop at the first screen after it's done loading, don't proceed, but don't close the window. Start/Run and type %TEMP% and hit enter (this will take you to your user temp folder). Sort the folders by date and open the newest. Here you should find Rom.zip. Use this as your base ROM in the kitchen. Root it, deodex it (or not), zipalign it, etc - and you end up with a flashable ROM from an RUU

If anything improves then I'll keep them, if things improve and break other stuff I'll go back, and then manually change the files I think need to be changed
