So I've used Steel Droid ICS on my Droid 3 before and really enjoyed the ROM; except for te multi-touch keyboard. I would type on the keyboard, but no text would populate the messge unless I backed out of whatever application I'm using and hit my Task Killer widget. Anyone else having this issue?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and couldn't find anything.
I bought the Nook Color today and it seems great, but I would love to get rid of the typical android phone dock that auto-installed with launcherpro when I downloaded it from the marketplace. The one with phone, SMS, email.
I haven't gotten side-loading apps to work yet on my Mac, but i'm going to work on it tonight.
The settings for that Dock will be specific to LauncherPro.
I personally use ADW.Launcher, which has an option to totally disable the Dock, or to make it be a single button to open the Apps Drawer.
Thank you. I'll try using it. I basically just want the cleanest dock ever with a few things on it, and then a side page with my apps
Try Zeam. It works the best.. You can configure the dock entirely.
Launcher pro has an advantage in that you can set the grid to 10x10 where in ADW or Zeam the max is 8X8. 10x10 works way better on the nook.
Actually, I fnd that 8x8 works best for launcher pro. 10x10 makes the widgets too small and overflow their their layouts if they were coded in dips rather than px, which most were...

Okay, so I've been curious for quite some while.
Using Vanilla Android over Sense has lead to quite a few losses in the way. One of which is the one i am about to refer to.
When I bought my Hero i was amazed with its feature to change the incoming call volume just by movement. Of course, this is a Sense feature and therefore not included in 2.2 Froyo Vanilla. Has anyone found an application doing that?
It would be awesome if we could.
ps. Also, has anyone found a good replacement for the Sense/LauncherPro Full Screen calendar? I am using ADW Launcher EX. Mind you I am using a lower density screen so apps like pure calendar widget don't scale good enough, let alone they look ugly.
I've read elsewhere that occasionally there's a bug that causes the launcher to shift the homescreen to landscape mode in certain conditions. I'm wondering if there's a specific line in a file I could edit to keep my home screen in landscape, or if there's a way to just auto-rotate like an ordinary app would.
I'm using Firefly 3 if that helps.
It's that launcher that won't rotate. Pretty much any other launcher rotates...type "launcher" in the market give a few a try and find one you like.
Adw
Launcher pro
Go launcher
Just to name a few.
MacRom MR8 SR1 Homescreen stopped automatically rotating.
I updated my Droid Eris to the OS MacRom MR8 SR1. The auto-rotate feature was working fine, but then stopped working. I am using supercharger, set CPU, LauncherPro, Green Glass Keyboard, Muiu Camera, and Cache2Cache. I'm not sure if it is a problem with the Rom or an Application. Mad props to Macrodroid for the update. 3G is superfast! Allows you to customize your launcher! Any help would be appreciated. I would like to not have to wipe and re-flash the Rom if possible.

Not to be flippant or rude, but perhaps your inquiry would be better served in the Droid Eris forum.

Sorry, I thought I was on the Eris threads. Thanks for the guidance.
I am using Launcher Pro Plus on my brand new Bionic. I have an empty screen and am trying to add the World Clock widget, yet it keeps telling me I have no room and won't let me add it? Has anyone else run across this issue? Any feedback?
I downloaded home switcher and went back to the stock home screen to test. I was able to add it there with no problem. Ths widget must not be compatible with launcher pro?

Does anyone have the stock car dock apk? I've looked all over and can't find it.
Its system/app/smartcardock.apk, you have to install a car dock switcher to use it outside of an actual dock, there are a few on the market
Droid 1 Rooted (ChevyNo1 0.9MV Kernel, LGB2.6)
Droid 3 Rooted (Hashcode gave me some Ice Cream)
Download quickshortcutmaker off market, type in cardock let it search, make a shortcut for cardock smart mode, it may force close, but it will still make a shortcut

Droid 3 Rooted (Hashcode gave me some Ice Cream)
Thanks for the info, but I'm running DarkDroid. There car dock app was removed from the ROM. I need the actual install.
