What is everyone using for their ROM's?
I tried upgrading to JB but had major battery drain issues. I am currently using Virtuous Inquisition. I really enjoy using it.
WCX rom until someone solves the ril issue to get Sense 4.0.

flash kozmike kernel (with interactive and deadline choosed while flashing kernel) it is the there just google search it - "HoNest_Installer_v1.2.zip" and "boot for honest.rar". And in venom tweaks - Misc (disable fast dormancy)

PAC v19.0 ..best experience with this hardware yet. Couple minor bugs but overall really great! Not experiencing the same battery issues everyone else seems to be tho..the battery life of this phone has always been just shy of average, but really what more can we ask of a stock battery, powering this much hardware..? I find non-sense roms get much better battery life than those with sense..but that's about all. Its just a power hungry gadget.

I loved ICS too but..a lot of good games just fc on ICS and that will forever be my deal breaker..just try playing eternal legacy..great game btw..

Hey guys, today it was just released , the official sense 3.0+2.3.5 for our desire s via ota upgrade! (See our forum)
Just wondering whether you guys have it for your incredibles? Since they both have virtually the same hardware specs, just wondering if you guys got the update from HTC.

Yeah pyramid versions are slow, these WVGA official roms we have are lightning fast! As fast as 2.1 sense.
I haven't upgraded to the official desire s Rom, but I'm currently using a leaked tweaked ROM based on it! Man its fast!

The one i'm on is pretty good though I agree one made for our device would be better.
I'm sure someone will port the desire s ROM to ours.

Yeah. Or you can get the ota base, and devs like Mike1986 can work on a tweaked.version

Is like a new ROM to flash, and for some reason I get horrible hspa speeds on 3.5 roms.

nah I tried several radios and checked apn settings, build prop, etc...
I think it has something to do with it having different modules

Oh maybe it is a custom ron port prolem. If you have the official base 3.0/3.5 the problems may be fixed

Strangely enough all sense 3 roms work fine..
Miui had the same issue though for me
We been using 3.0 Roms based of Pyramid. Can't wait to we an official 3.0 ROM.

That ROM gives me the hspa people I have with many roms, terrible speeds.
So much that speed rest can't even find a network and the market has no pictures.
Also "based on" does not mean official... I.E. a movie being "based on a true story" is not the same as a true story
i think he means officially for Incredible S, and not Desire S
Hopefully won't be long official sense 3.0 will be nice

I found a nice skin on CM7 but not really a fan of CM7. So after a 2.3.5 ROM with an ICS skin as default. Any ideas?
Why not flash virtuous quattro ics its real ics as long as your not on bell mobility and don't need a camcorder its an awesome Rom.

I have been following that thread since Beta 5, but i do not recall reading about Bell Mobility issues... im using it on Virgin Mobile just fine, is it not the same network basically?

Yeah virgin runs off bell mobility towers. I have virgin too and my apps run like crap I even have to retry connection on market 5 times to get it to work. I've come to the conclusion that most of the apps I'm using are not updated for ics which is weird because you would think, like most operating systems, there would be backwards compatibility for apps.

i think CM7's ICS Rom is quite gd~u could have it a try
Use Ice Hd theme by he_stheone64 for DHD and use the patch for our inc s with Niks rom or rcmix rom.

Can someone please help me? Im currently with cm7 rom and want to change to an ics based rom but one which i can use daily. I preffer one without sense and from what i read here (i read daily this board topics) i cant really say which rom is good for daily use and which will give me a hard time?

I would recommend Ice Cold Sandwich, it's updated almost every day and running smooth and stable, at least for me and wirh Tiamats Kernel. Quattro is stable, too, but I changed from Quattro to Icecold and don't regret it. But don't forget to flash Tiamats kernel after flashing Icecold, otherweise you will experience some freezes/lags...

Hi Firetribe I would like to know if flashing Tiamat's kernel would fix the issue in Ice Cold Sandwich ROM?
There are a decent number of ICS ROM's for the Incredible S but the only stock ICS ROM's are Playground ICS(Development has been stopped) and IceColdSandwich( No new updates for about a month). There are quite a few Sense 4 ROM's as well but honestly after using stock, I can't go back to Sense.
Official support for CM9 is a long way off, so I don't expect CM10 by this year
I wonder if any dev has started working to port JellyBean onto our device?
Desire HD has 4.1 so likelly IncS will do too..

Trust me I've switched to ICS and jb but I keep coming back to 146. I just can't trade ui for broken elements and lag. 146 has no bugs that I can find and everything works as it should combined with simplicity, customization and the functionality of cm I can't stay away. Since the last time I switched I've been waiting for cm10 but it looks like we're not going to get it, so my incs will be locked into 146 until I purchase a new phone. I still can't find a reason to replace this device.
