Yes. The ExynosAbuse-v1.40.apk does not work any more.

And my mobile data problem seems gone. So some fixes has been made.

I also have problems on changelog 633241 ... or maybe this is ExynosAbuse

Hi,
I guess the new firmware still have the bug. I installed it and rooted it with mobile odin without full wipe, and the exynos abuse app is still working.

If you root with mobile Odin it uses an old kernel? On stock BLL5 the app does not work.
(It says "expoitable" but if you click "root" it just gives an error)

No Kies update for me yet. Still on ll3
---------- Post added at 01:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:08 AM ----------
Does this mean also that the LL5 version would need a new root method to cover rooting tracks for warranty purposes?
Ie cf auto root and triangle away still works on this?

Yes support for TriangleAway is device specific
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda premium

Device specific rather than firmware specific so it should work? Good!

cf auto and triangle works

CF-Root works. Only strange thing: i got no triangle on boot. "Custom Binary Download" in download-mode shows: "YES(Count 1)"

It will say that and you can reset it with triangleaway

Did you try this method ?

You can download DDLRB rom from www.sammobile.com
till yesterday it was not available over OTA - i could do it with Kies. It seems a bit faster to me than LR9.

DDLRB seems to be the final update for ics. So better not to mess with your yr phone trying just to check yr kernel is brickfree.
jellybean is almost here, very near in a month or 2.
DDLRB also bares the same kernel coded 3.0.15...which is porne to brick yr device, it has also bricked many s2`s.
Just wait for JB in which kernel is changed 3.0.31 which is completely brickfree...
I flashed philz ddlr9 on it.. Works fab

Working for me too .

Rooted galaxy n7000

Hi guys please help. My n7000 is rooted and the ics 4.0.4 version is a rooted rom one. My software update button is missing. Have downloaded kies but its showing no updates. My question is that can i access kies and official samsung updates through this even though im rooted. Dont really want unroot for fear of bricking my device. Bit of a novice in this area. Any help will be appreciated.

It wan't send u any notification cause you'r rooted and u have -#su shell active so nothing official untill u flash stock ICS kernel and wait for update.
So you are saying that while rooted i will jpt get any official samsung updates? If i want official updates i must unroot is tuat correct? Or can i still update through kies. Getting confused now. Please help.

for the pass rooted phone still able to update via kies.
now not sure !still waiting for official 4.1.2 then will know the result.
Ok thanks. I guess its a waiting game as i heard n7000 get the 4.2.1 update sometime march.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
even though the phone is rooted or even a custom kernel is installed, kies detects the firmware and check if there is an update or not.. so it will let us know.. nothing to do with su shell and all.
kies will let you update as well.. but OTA wont work on rooted and custom recovery installed devices.
Ok great thanks. I shall have to wait which is something im not good at.

3 days ago I flashed ICS 4.0.3, rooted it with Philz kernel and attacked it to PC, opened keis, keis not only detected my phone, but also asked if I want to install new updates I accepted the offer, keis then upgraded my ROM to ICS 4.0.4, but I lost root. Super Su was there but Philz CWMR was replaced by stock recovery and Titanium backup told me to get out as my phone was not rooted. So I flashed Philz Rooted kernel again and got root access once again.
So, Yes keis will ask you to update firmware if one is there, but you "may" lose root.
Thank you that is very useful info. I'm already on 4.0.4 so will await the next update. Been informed that note n7000 users will get 4.2.1 sometime in March.

Hi another daft question. Phone was rooted when bought. I have installed rom tool manager from market and am using to alter my status bar. I have installed the ones I want and now assume I have to flash them to get them to take effect. When I go to do this its asking me what name my recovery mode is. How do I find this out. Thanks in advance.

[Q] XXLSA to Official Stock/Factory ROM

1. I have the International version of GT-N7000
2. All official until I manually updated to XXLSA JB 4.1.2 using Odin (I cant wait for official to come via OTA thats why)
3. Now I cant use Kies as it says it dont recognize it (you know what i mean)
4. I dont care about kies enyway.
My question is, can I,
1. Let say remove this XXLSA ROM and go back to Stock (i think its ICS or something)
2. Then I will try to update it via OTA again. where in I'll be getting the Official JB then.
3 I just want to go back all official ROM again thats it.

YES, if you flash back to stock ICS, you will get official OTA again. You can also visit sammobile.com and download and flash stock JB 4.1.2 which is now available for almost every region. This will put u on stock rom and do not root if you want to get OTA update.
If I helped you please press "Thanks", and if you helped I will do the same

Actually, you can root your phone and still receive OTA updates, as long as you don't flash a custom kernel/recovery.

i checked sammobile and its surprising that all versions of my Stock ROM are from GERMANY, even though i bought my phone here in United Arab Emirates, there i saw N7000XXLPY >N7000XXLRG>N7000XXLRK>N7000XXLRQ>N7000XXLRT>N7000XXLSA which i remember all my previous ROMs and the latest one is N7000XXLSZ which im downloading now.

[Q] Note slowed down after upgrading to Jelly Bean.

Hello guys,
I use Galaxy Note-N7000 and the issue with my device is ever since I upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2,my device has slowed down,I am now starting to think its because of Note unable to handle Jelly Bean.I even tried factory resetting and re-installing Jelly bean a couple of times, but it hasnt helped.I also see RAM consumption being very high with only a few apps on my device.
What could be slowing down my device?I was told Kernels speed up our devices, will it work?If so can you guys recommend me any good kernels and steps to install them?
I would really appreciate any help, guys. Please be kind
Thank you!
That's normal. Whether use ics or higher than 4.1.2.
It will always lag.
To flash custom kernel do it via Odin or root Your phone and install kernel from cwm.

Flashing through Odin shouldn't need root, just USB debugging enabled. I have never flashed anything via goo manager, but if You will get the flashable file You will be able to flash it then. And it will change the cwm.
To download kernels just go to android development section for our service and search the forum for "kernel" in the topic. Our You can also Google "kernel n7000"
