1. Wifi hotspot work for me on nAa14 kernel(just it's show in settings there's no network operater, but I'm connected to network operator with full signal, this is my bug on nAa).
2. Yes it's true, this is one of the best roms, all the time 100mb+ free of ram...
3. Hope Shinliew will come back,I think he didn't left development of his roms (all are the best) because in his signature we can see,he is working on gingersnap... SENSE...:good:

Many users said wifihotspot bug on nAa14 so asked

You should ask questions like this in [email protected] and General Section, Only development related threads should be asked in here, Anyways , Mini Cm is better out of the two

GingerXperiaRay is better for gaming + Lesser lags
But it has some minor issues. (Bugs)
Radio is broken
USB connect button is not shown in portrait mode. It is perfect in Lanscape mode.

if your confused just try GingerDX -
Pros: One of the Smoothest CM7 Rom i have used, Full of features, Customizable, Most apps work without any problem, Regularly Updater, Wide range of users so you will easily find solutions if you do face any problem, Upgraded Camera
Cons: People claim it to be stable but not fast(A custom kernel helps in that case), Some minor bugs still needs to be fixed, Some features and still needs to be more polished and stable, updates have recently slowed down
you can hit Thanks if i helped...

If this means you're still waiting for some help/answer ...
Let me lay it out to you: The CM7 Shakira ROM, developed by the FreeXperia Team, is NOT feature complete and since they ceased further development (only bug fixing as they see fit) it's not actively developed.
This ROM is by no means fit for everyday usage, nor is it free of bugs (on the contrary, that thing is buggy like hell).
You're better off using nAa's Kernel and MiniCM7 combo or any other Gingerbread custom ROM.

[Q] Anyone face the problem when playing The Sims 3 on MiniCM9 ?

Hi everyone, i have a problem when playing The Sims 3 running on MiniCM9 3.0.2.
Everytime i started the app, when showing logo EA, after that it close and back to the home screen.
Anyone have the same problem? And anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks
*sorry for bad english
Its probably because X8 doesnt have enough RAM. Try using swap.

already use swap about 200MB , when using MiniCM7 it run smoothly,
btw, thanks for the answer
Well CM9 ROMs are not still optimized as CM7 and they are not good for gaming. Stick up to CM7 if you want play games
I think sims 3 is too heavy for our devices..

Maybe the sim 3 older version has compatibility problem with ics. Try a newer version of the sim 3

What Jelly Bean Rom are you guys using

Hi all.
I had mixed fellings about ICS. its new and gud but gingerbread was better.
So whats ur say on the JB roms. Which one are you using and how is ur experience with it so far.
Im on official JB rom GNexus. Its good and perhaps better than most ICS.
P.S do these ports have project butter in them?
Thanks

I would wait a bit with JB until the main bugs are fixed. But I would propably test CM10 first.
I'm using Team Android Jelly Bean's version, V6 Beta. I'd recommend waiting till V7 is out, or try to find V5 somewhere on the internet. V6 is quite a bit laggy.
Slim ICS with DPI set pretty close to normal. It has no datadata/vsync/butter (none do atm) and it is super smooth and 8/10 for stability. Pretty good for an alpha release.

I flashed SlimBean today and once I'd worked my way past the bootloops, connection issues and TB FC's it's working nicely. :fingers-crossed:
AlwaysDroid, you've got the Devil kernel happening - which file did you use? The Devil3_1.0.0-Rc3_JB_i9000_CFS_BLN_VC_20120718 file or the Devil3_1.0.0-Rc3_JB_i9000_CFS_BLN_CMC_20120718? I'd love to give it a shot, but I really don't want to flash the wrong file - I've had a few soft bricks that scared the poop outta me until I managed to get them righted!
Does anyone has a link to the Team Android Jelly Bean's v5??
i´m using cm10 from 20120723 for aprox 2 hours now and compared to the last cm9 nigthly i think its in some points a little bit slower.
the launcher is very fast but if i wanna switch apps it takes several seconds.
and also in the settings its slower. but i have to say that i´m syncing a lot of contacts by using myphonexplorer during the time i´m testing.
hopefully it will get better after the sync.
and i read that it will get better after a day or 2 of usage.

I second that. V5 worked fine for me. V6 seemed a bit faster, but loads of new bugs. Then the carrier signals disappeared so im back on V5.
I am using the CM10 by pawitp
...click me...
It´s ok and im satisfied because the main features (sms, data, wifi) work great, but there are still many bugs.
But I think if you wait another 2 or 3 weeks, the builds will be great. At the moment it´s only an alpha version.. so don't expect too much
i am using cm10 but there are some bugs. i am looking forward to the update version.

I'm using SlimBean 1.0. Haven't noticed any issues so far, aside from not being able to access your external SD card when connected to pc. (mtp fix aside) Have yet to check the battery usage, gonna let it sit for a week.

I am using CM10 by epinter. Not bad same bugs as ICS, just needs 2 things: long press to skip to the next song and WiFi tethering. Other than that not bad and I can't get too mad the for build was made like two weeks ago, and he has made a lot of updates.

hi there
using pawitps jb alpha rom cm10, quite stable for an alpha but hey must have testers to test it and help with developement , which i'm glad to do and any help we can give developers i think is a good thing. quite a few bugs as has been said , but if we can use it everyday i'm happy even if there is lag and bugs for now, i know it will be sooo good when finished .
