Anything that is CM or CM-based ROM for TX lol , though I'm not getting my hopes high, most devs are still quite focused on T atm.
I guess we just have to wait for FXP since they posted on their site that TX is going to be supported also aside from T. Can't wait for that to happen.
EDIT: ooops, OP seems to be talking about T, hehehe, just ignore my comment

Let's discuss about which android version T, TX and V will have at last

I think 4.1.2 is not the last.
However, 5.0 may not be got because of commercial factors.
Therefore, it seems their last android version is 4.2
Just my opinion

i do hope TX will update to KLP os
or someone would port it to TX
for now, the most likely official version TX will get, i think, it's 4.2
SGII can run 4.2, why cant TX?
hmm 4.2 would be nice for my T, I'm sure we won't get 5.0, I'm not even convinced that we get 4.2 because it's late now and I don't know if they work on 4.2 anymore when 5.0 is out...

It would be reaaally big shame for Sony if they wont update Xperia T to 5.0. I dont think they will leave their falgship Bond phone behind and forget it. I think everyone needs to.cheer up and hope for the best!
Well, next update will not be 4.2 ( or the chance is very low). If there will be only fixes for 4.1.2, we'll get 5.0 on Christmas xD
Edit:
next software update is planned to be released during week 14.

But the date TX upgraded to Jellybean was 27.3.2013 and in Hong Kong was on 3.4.2013. I can't believe Sony will release new update after one week.

Err, no last week was the 14th, now this is Week 15 already.
Looking at how Sony handled updates before, I've got a feeling that 4.2 would be the last. But yeah, we'll never know at this point since Sony is somehow changing its policies(?), and at least we may get KLP. Hopefully, lol.

I reckon that Sony have come a long way since the x10 fiasco, so I think we'll the next iteration, just as they jumped froyo they'll jump 4.2 seeing as some of their proprietary features already cover some of the stuff in 4.2. As such I reckon that the next iteration of android will be announced, Sony will announce a new batch of phones and a new flagship, then the Z and that series of phones will be announced to receive the update, but we'll get the update after their. Anyhow, if we don't it's relatively straight forward to port it due to similarities between the devices for some devs.

What's there to discuss as per the title of this thread?
Baseless speculation?
Until Sony officially states “no updates for this & that” there's no telling, only speculation. Nothing to ni-paa~ about, and nothing to discuss.

As Sony hasn't told us the last android version, we can still discuss about this.
If Sony told us 4.1.2 is the last android version, this post would be meaningless.

Please do explain the purpose of “discussing” this topic. Post count increase? There are no arguments to present, so all you can do is repeat “I think last version will be 4.2” “But I think it will be 5.0” endlessly.
Was the biggest part of the Jelly Bean update not the fact that we also go a 3.4 kernel? That was a huge update from the last kernel. I dont see why Sony would put that much effort in for it to not be a base for future updates. Jelly Bean could have easily run on the old Kernel but possibly not KLP. I see that some xperia devices are not getting the Kernel update in their Jelly Bean package, This is me seeing a way to distinguish which devices are getting dropped for the KLP update. Xperia T V and TX are almost certain to get the 5.0 update but looking at sort of Xperia S Jelly Bean time frames unless the delay for Jelly Bean was due to them setting up a proper base on the kernal to make the push to new version much smoother.
hello, im a new xperia v users here. i hope u all welcome me in this forum. just to mention that
Well just had a look into the sony site to see which firmware version is the newest hand the T isn't listed anymore! The list goes from S to tipo and then to the U.
Anybody an idea what's going on?
Since the last information from Sony was that an update was expected during week 14:what::what:

Meanwhile 9.1.A.1.190 is available for the V in some regions.
If TX gets 4.2.2 around Google I/O, it is possible to get KLP by the end of the year. I don't think KLP needs quad core, 2gb ram etc. to run. The important thing is how the market devision will decide. Commercial factor must affect the final decision.

Gasai is right. There's no point in this. Every user's opinion would either be 4.2 or 5.0. Final decision comes from Sony.

I believe he's still working on Carbon ROM. But he has been telling people he was going update the Xperia Z Revolution ROM to KA08 and incorporate the .235 fixes - apparently he was going to do it within the week when the thread went down - but that was a fortnight ago.

Android 4.3 announced for Xperia T, TX and V!

We also mentioned that a few of our products would be jumping software version – so, we can confirm that Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V* will be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean 4.3… also from next month.

Man, I think you don't know what you're saying.
I had Xperia PLAY too for a very VERY long time. Almost since it was released. You should be happy they didn't update the phone to 4.0. ICS on Xperia PLAY sucked and almost everyone knows that games were slower and less compatible. Also ICS was g*y on 2011 Xperia phones. Slow, laggy, with many bugs. Now my girlfriend use my XPLAY and she's proud of it. "Very fast phone" she says. And she wouldn;t be able to say that on ICS. Sony did the best thing they could to provide the best GAMING experience from the phone designed for GAMES.
Xperia T, TX, V are the phones for... everyone. So I think if they write they upgrade these phones, they'll do this. It's even more convincing because they wrote 4.3 rollout will begin in the next month. So probably they already have 4.3 working on Ts, TXs and Vs and want to fix some bugs before they release it.

There's a downside to overclocking. More battery consumption and you'll have to expect your phone to overheat.

What are briefly the real world improvements with 4.3 vs 4.2? Or 4.1?
Finally, the bond phone get the update to Jelly Bean 4.3 (especially Xperia TX). Although not Kitkat 4.4, but I already feel happy for this.
Thank you SONY, but if you are more encouraged to update to 4.4 KitKat ... it's even more amazing.
and if not get Kitkat, it does not matter .. I will use CM11.
and lastly, I will buy sony xperia device (again) in the next years.

Thanks. Greeetings to Bandung! Yes, I meant the Doomlord Honami Experience. It contains a few tweaks that are really useful, and it's bugs are sort of minor. It is also same stabil as OEM.
Another thought would be loading the Nestle Choco Bar ROM and then stripping it of all the Now, Hangout, NSA Invitations, User Analysers, and other calories rich features to the bare function of the phone, then complete it with 3. party apps. In the last days I learned there are some really very nice ones out there.

Need advice on the best Stock Android Rom to switch to...
I was on the horrible Sony Xperia Z Ultra and had the Bootloader locked meaning no custom roms no fancy tweaking...i did contact Sony aswell as my carrier that supplied the handset but it never got resolved!
Anyways i now have a Sony Xperia Z1 and the bootloader is able to be unlocked...So im in the middle of unlocking the bootloader as i type this thread then straight after will root! The question i have is what's the best Stock Android Rom to use? Is there a GPE Google Play Edition Rom available for the Z1? also how stable is the official CM11 from Cyanogenmod official site?
I badly want to get my device stock android as i hate the Sony bugged skin I hope i have a easlyier time with my Z1 as compared to my Ultra...

Since this can technically be a discussion thread, then its good to go for General. Anyways, in my opinion I would say either Cyanogenmod or Paranoid Android. If your looking for greater features with solid battery life and performance go with Paranoid Android. If you are looking for pure speed and battery life, with a bit of customization, then shoot for Cyanogenmod. I hope I've helped

Unfortunately best rom threads are not allowed no matter how you disguise them.
I advise you head over to the original development section and try them out for yourself.
Also if you do have a question, please use the Q and A section. thread closed
