Hi,
I'm trying to modify the Framework-res.apk from the GPC Pure gingebread 2.0
its AOSP 2.3.3 but it dont work i did it in all versions before and it worked
i want to replace the Battery indicator with a Circle Batterie
but i always get errors and boot loops can some experience one maybe help me ? =)
i will attach the apk and the icons if someone has maybe time to look,
i would be very happy
with best regards
Alexi
hi
i had a look at your framework-res.apk
but the sys-stat-batt files are unusable
and i don't feel much for rewriting those.
so please get some workable sys-stat-batt files and i'll gladly do it for you,
however using apkmanager is really easy, so why not try it yourself.
grtz steef
For those who haven't yet seen these, sopL87 has created some Skins that work with ANY sense 2.0 rom, i found these over in the DHD forums and have got to say that his work is fantastic!
here is the original thread
Im obviously not taking any credit for any of his work, just thought i'd share it with anybody over here who hasn't yet seen it, so all credit and thanks to sopL87
Madeli also posted a link to the linear sense beta theme by bgill55. the link for the theme direct is: here
and the link to the thread with the screenshots is :here
Simply put the .apk files onto your sd card, use your favourite file mananger to install them, then select them as you would with any other sense skin ( personalization button(bottom right corner of sense dock) > skins > select your skin > select) and boom
bro but any chance of these skins working on the stock rom ??

Sure they do... i've used them since i got my incredible S, and i'm S-ON with stock rom.
@Madeli you put the htc sense 2.1 theme apk file in astro and ran it right ??
not in astro... dont use astro i just install it like any apk ... put it on my sdcard then install it. Then it shows up in skin settings and voila
@Madeli ok let me give it a try thanks for the quick reply !! recommend me htc sense 2.1 skins or 2.0 and recommend some of ur fav skins if poss
My favorites are: revolution, distincion and black n bold in that thread.
But one other that i recommend is Linear Sense (still beta tho) but it works fine, you can finde it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007745 It in htc thunderbolts theme section, but also works fine with incredible s
thanks a lot for the help !! will surely try ur recommendations
Linear Sense gets installed perfectly !! and Sense 2.0 skins work perfect not 2.1 !! thanks a lot Madeli for ur help !!
thanks alot sir... looks good and installed easy.
Nice was looking fo rsome new themes. The ones on HTC hub are age old.
as others have pointed out they are working fine on stock rom. in using an unlocked UK incredible s, S-ON, stock froyo rom, works fine for me, i use Adao file manager or astro file manager to locate and install them, then just select them as you usually would (personalize button > skin > select the one you want)
BIG thanks for the guy who posted the linear sense skin, ill edit the original post to include it to save people from having to hunt
Here skins for Sense 2.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048894

Your welcome!

Are there any that make use of the Minimal Framework icons?
Note: I know there are similair threads. Those contain ONLY the icons. and not the UI Files I need
Hi,
as my note above states, I need the HTC Sense image files.
I'm Currently trying to port the HTC Sense theme to bada which is working nicely for the Icons, but i need the UI Files (then I mean, Tab backgrounds, The home screen, etc.)
If anyone could provide me with a dump of an HTC phone or anything usefull let me know
Thanks,
ShadowAS1

Just get into a Sense device section in xda (HTC Desire, Desire HD, Desire Z, ...) and look for stock ROM in zip (for flashing from recovery) so you can extract the files you want.
Thanks (solved)

Hi,
I'm using the Musketeer Total Senseless ROM and i really like it.
But when I'm changing the volume, there's still the stock HTC Sense "indicator". How can I change this to the AOSP theme? Is it possible?
Thank you

Yes, it is possible, this can be changed from either system/framework/framework-res.apk or system/app/SystemUI.apk.
(you can open them with any archive manager to explore)
You can do the themeing by comparing a file that already has the thing you need with the one that is already present in your rom, takes some time to get used to this, but it is possible and can be done.
Hope this helps, and search for themeing tutorials over XDA
Thank you
It doesn't sound easy but I'm trying it

Is someone managed to theme volume controls to aosp, i really liked if someone has
