1. Download Stock Rom P7500-XWKG9 EUR 3G Only http://www.multiupload.com/SGV6N78YY7 [password: samfirmware.com] (Source http://www.samfirmware.com/)
2. Download ODIN3 V1.85 http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=581913&d=1304094576
3. Extract stock rom somewhere on your computer also Odin, run Odin and don't touch anything except PDA where you will select previously extracted stock file.
4. Put Tab in Download mode, connect tab to computer, power off, hold power off and volume - till you see two icons then press volume + and if it ask are you sure pres volume + one more time and you are in download mode then ( order of buttons is _power_ _volume -_ _volume+_ )
5. You should see yellow background on first box of odin and that is good your Tab is ready to flash, then click start on ODIN and wait till it reboot.
5.1 Boot in recovery ( Because stock doesn't have if you was following from step one do the root your Tab, as it is on this topic, so download this and put it on the sdcard, then put your Tab to Recovery mode power off, hold power off and volume - till you see two icons then press volume - ,then volume + and you should go to apply update zip file and you will select this file and when it is done you should reboot your device. )
6. Make a nandroid backup
7. Wipe data/factory reset
8. Flash BroodComb Alpha
9.Reboot and enjoy
Boot will take a while coz cache is cleared also factory mode is reseted so don't worry everything is fine.

Just a clarification, is it me or a valid kernel for overclocking purposes is NOT available yet for the P7500?

Will make some screens when i get home sorry i was in hurry, regarding OC i think we will not see that coze source code for our kernel is not yet released...pity :/

Cwm you should use Recovery mode = CWM , Download mode = Odin, np you are free to ask..we don't want to brick your tab...

I already answered his question, we don't have source for karnel so you can't compile it..it is simply as that..i can change in properties but kernel will not allow it we need to wait for the kernel... stupid samsung

The 8/9/11 kernel variant from pershoot runs on kg9 with working 3g, but it has a bad battery bug and was dropped from his website. A better version will be released in the next hours. If you cant wait, they asked for p7500 testers on his thread.

Might be a silly question from new 10.1 3G 16GB user but i have to ask since custom roms are developed.
My version is GT-P7500XXKG7 - can I safely flash XXKG9 on that device?

I wonder from where on earth he got the source code, i doubt he disassembled it , but i am ready to try it out it simply can't harm also overcloock would be nice

Sure you can i was on it first time then flash it over with ODIN... so it is safe...

Hmm i tryed that kernel but somehow on my device 3g [GT-7500 not 10.1V] was not working.. maybe my tab is isolated problem?? can someone verify that his kernel is working?

Can you please post that sick wallpaper? And any others that you may have included? Haven't decided if I want to switch ROMs just yet and couldn't find the wallpapers in the zip...

How to install this ROM?! [Fresh Install]
1.Reboot into CWM Recovery and make a back-up of your current ROM. (You'll need a working CWM Recovery or else it will say Device/SD Card busy).
2.Wipe the following in CWM Recovery:
Factory Reset (Full wipe)
Wipe Cache Partition
Wipe Dalvik Cache
3.Go to install Custom Zip and choose my rom

I just wanna say "Thank you" for this good rom.
I like the style, everything is very polished!!!
I have one single problem:
After using bigger apps as Google Maps or anything like this, the launcher flies out of the ram.
It must have something with one of the optimizations you made.
On stock rom, this never happens, but stock rom has about 30 megs less ram free.
But Launcher kicking isn't good, takes 25 seconds to rebuild.
Can we anything do against this?

[Q] improve speed on jb?

Hi,
I updated my i9070 to android JB a few days ago,
But it is a little slower then GB.
Does a full wipe + factory reset make it faster?
I didnt do a full wipe after updating to JB.

I installed ADW launcher, changed I/O scheduler to noop in No-frills CPU controll app. It helped a bit. Untill we get some custom kernel and ROM.

Factory reset. Only the stock launcher lags, if you close it, and when is reopens it lags for 2-3 secs until it loads up totally. After that no lag. (without root)

Yes, for rooted. But rpot for JB is a lot easier than on GB.

There is more then the stock launcher that lags, but i will give it a try as i dont care too much about my progress in games

Check those two options in Developer tools. Typing text on keyboard is lot smoother. And general expirience is a lot better to me.

For me first option uncheck too. But now my phone is working smothly even without that. On Ondemand/Noop.

same here, i disabled the developer option and changed only to Ondemand/Noop and for ex i am watching a HD 720p video on youtube and hit the home button the sistem is still responsive and no lag at all and the memory is showing 560 RAM are used, when i enter in temple run for example the browser closes by its self

Yeah I am also not experiencing lag, anymore. Just free RAM on this firmware is very poor. It should be more tweaked.

Custom ROMs in future.
First I was a little disapointed with JB, when I had some lags. But now I am so happy that it is out.

you can also restrict apps in backround to max 4 i have tried to 3 max and always having ~350-400 ram in use... so it may help

If u remove all unnecessary apps from /system/app u earn much more ram and less cpu ussage

Remove Google maps if you do not use it. You have IGO if you want navigation. Gmaps take solid amout of RAM.

I dont know what u are removing but mine is much faster than stock just after removing apps like chaton, samsun apps,analog clock widgets, gmaps, YouTube, etc. You can install them later in play store without using /system partition

man i appreciate this but someone please make a tutorial for working PHOTO SPHERE CAM 4.2 jelly bean..the main reason i flashed russian firmware so that i could check out sphere camera..help..i tried manually putting all the files in camera.zip with ROOT explorer after rooting..4.2 gallery is working but i get an error gallery stopped working when i open camera 4.2 ..

at least you are having FC's, mine just get the screen black and the phone blocked until I reboot, coul'd you provide some logcat?

Download aLogcat on Play Store
Close any other app to make it clean
Open aLogcat, press home button and start 4.2 camera until you get FC, then go back to alogcat and pause, press the share button.

[Q] Data Connection Problem Paranoid 4.5

i have just installed this ROM but when installed it gave me this problem:

as u can see there is no internet connection (only the wifi) and there isn't signal..
i have tryed to reboot, reflash the room, format all.. but nothing...

Up, and down.
You was on 4.1.2 baseband before flashing PA? You was not on 2.3.x? You must be on JB to be able to flash any newer ROM than it.
You did factory reset?
If all yes, then check your APN. If it is not set - set it manually.

i was on another KK 4.4.4 rom before.
yes i did factory reset and i ahve formatted /system many times.
APN is setted right automatically,
Trying the sim on friend's Samsung Galaxy SII the connection works well..
another thing is that at the start up my S Advance ask me the pin of the sim.. so it means that the telephone see it.

I had problem with network on 4.4.4 based ROMs, so I got back to stock JB 4.1.2 because it annoyed me. There was random no network for me. Try to go to some other 4.4.4 based, and see what happens.

i was on VanirAOSP 4.4.4 but it was with a lot of bugs, random reboots, freezings and quality of youtube videos (using viral lite app) was horrible.
and i want a rom with Hover.. so the paranoid was perfect for me..
do u know any other smooth rom with hover?

Look on our Development and Original development section. I am on stock JB for some time, did not look on what was updated. In ROM description is written what ROM has what options.

Actually, I often experience this, but it happens after the first install CM11 ROM. But after re-boot, then the signal was back to normal. My advice, try the first downgrade to GB firmware for your country. See if it is still problematic.
Ps. Oh yeahh, before you downgrade, make sure that you do a full wipe first (wipe data + partition + dalvik cache) through recovery. Don't forget to remove the memory card before installing the ROM. Hope it helps.

Change SIM card, maybe it is some problem with it.

I had this problem when I installed the first rom on my advance, so I changed the baseband and everything worked fine! Flashed stock Indian, and then the rom I wanted.
