Hello all,
I had a question about instagram. It crashes by viewing photo's of friends and by pressing the explore-button. How to solve this problem? (already did a full wipe, clear cache, clean (re)install, occurs both on AngryV3 and tablet VT1 rom, and signed in with a different account )
Here is more information about the problem:
ROM: XXLSC
Exception class name: java.lang.illegalAccessError
Source file: Venue java
Source class: com.instagram.android.location.Venue
Source method: fromMediaLocationParser
Line number: 118
Tnx in advance
Instagram only work on 320 dpi..

Try clear instagram cache & data, under app info, if still FC uninstall it, after that download again from playstore, set it to 320dpi 1st..and open instagram.

I had this same issue on my SGSII, tried everything with no sucess, only factory reset worked for me(Sorry).
Be carefull, i don't know if you are in ICS, but if you are, change to Abyss 4.2 before doing this, or else you might brick your Note!!
screenshot suggest he is on ics

Had same issue a few days ago. Just ignored it as other attachments loaded. Just tried again (rebooted the phone yesterday) and it downloaded the PDF, which it didn't do the other day.
I put it down to a carrier error. I wouldn't advise factory reset - at most reflash modem only.
goto settings-->application--> select gmail --> clear cache --> reboot and try downloading again
else use some app to soft reboot/kill inactive processes, for ex : fast reboot or system panel app, then try downloading again

Had same problem done everything factory reset... Wipe clear bla... Bla... Bla then i uninstalled gmail then installed agn reboot phone problem solved

I've just flashed 4.2 from 3.1 and now my Gmail won't launch. Is there any way I can fix this? Please help

I had the same issue.
Just do a full wipe/factory reset, re-flash the Rom and install Google Apps (gapps). Then it will send you to the account setup screen at first boot.
I'm not sure if it will work on SlimICS, but it worked on CM9 Nightly.

Thanks for the replies, I did do a full wipe before flashing 4.2 but will try again.:good::good:
Did a full wipe and re-flashed but still the same issue. I even flashed back to GB and downloaded 4.2 again with slim common then flashed in that order but no change.
Is there an issue with the file maybe....or is there an update fix in the ota app.
Im back on 3.1 now.

If you haven't tried already go into apps in the settings menu, click on the gmail application, click force stop, clear cache, and possibly clear data and see if that helps.

i use RemICS-JB[v6] and latest mackay kernel! u tried another rom but same problem tried to clear cache and data but nothing!
is it a system app? if so use "root explore" goto system/app then click on the YouTube.apk and select "reinstall" see if that fixes it.
So is the youtube app just force closing or is the video saying error?
Also have you tried fixing permissions and clear cache at the same time? I would also suggest trying out the root explorer method but only if its a system app.

i tried everything but no luck! i cleared cach fixed permision but the same problem is there!
If nothing else works try deleting Youtube.apk from /system or /data and try reinstalling from Play Store
Make a backup though just in case

When you try download the app it gives "Unsupported video format?" O_O
It could be a problem with your gapps... I never had problems using gapps on RemICS-JB. Did you use the gapps made by monish?

If he will factory reset he will still have that issue. Coz it is default like you have in your own browser.
Have you tried to change the home page?

I was trying to avoid factory reset.
I have tried changing homepage, it didn't help. This tab keeps showing up.
I've been using this device 3 months now, it started happening 2 days ago.
Any idea why??
Thx for helping out.

Looks like you got two windows open in browser. Can't you just close that second one?
