I recently installed beta R23 modaco version..
and this rom seems not drain the battery percentage on display screen..
i used apps and played games for 4hours.. it still shows 100%...
Do i need to install Rom again? There is no way to fix it?

I'm using GingerDX v13. i was very pleased with all versions before, but now my wifi isn't working anymore... He does'nt find any networks.
I did some reading and tried the wifi patch (libs from MiniCM) but the script gives an error on my phone.
What can i do?

Some extra information:
I installed Kuyadroid over GingerDX, but no luck.
Then i did a full wipe, and reinstalled Kuyadroid... And Wifi is back.
Does anyone has an idea what i can do without loosing all my settings?

i got that error too but also i installed the new gingerdx V14 and the wifi hotfix and problem stil occurs but it seems to ocure when i download something big
Try hotfix of DX v_0.14 and wifi should work fine. Remember to use ClockWorldMode to update.
v14 wifi hotfix dosnt work cause i did it and should i install the gingerDX V14 via CWM cause i installed it via xrecovery and wifi hotfix via CWM

I solved my wifi problem by doing a full wipe...
By restoring an old image (for copying settings) i bricked my phone...
I solved it, but can start the rooting process all over again :-(

I have a problem in GingerDX v015 with LinuxDX kernel.
When i want to activate Wifi nothing happens. Instead of activating it's saying error and nothin else happens. Tried installing GingerDX v014 Hotfix but still no change.
Plz help me i really ned wifi.

i have searched in the forum for this question and have not found any.
i have galaxy s i9000 .
the biggest problem my phone turn off when he goes to "save screen" when i am not using him or durning a call.
it have started yesterday .
i have tried to install again with odin and it installed successfully .
but the problem staied the same .

Try flashing a kernel which had odin support which will allow you to go in the recovery and then flash the cm9 from there.

First of all re-flash a full GB ROM with 3 files using odin then install any kernel you want using odin I prefer speedmod kernel finally wait at least 3 minutes until your phone starts up

Might possibly be a hardware problem but that is just a guess in the dark, anyway glad you are up and running

I'm afraid I really don't know, you could try googling your problem, I'm sure I have heard of similar before, but not sure where, but probably here on XDA
again the problem have returned .

I have a similar problem, My Galaxy S shuts down by it self, in the middle of the game, call, standby...I hate the moment when I take my phone out of pocket and I see it`s turned off.

I am having troubles with wifi since i flashed DjangoManouche X 1.0 - 30A yesterday. I was on Gueste2X "GoodBye" v2.0R by Stefan (BB v20L). I wanted to try carburano's DjangoManouche, so i NVFlashed 28g by Stefan first and afterwards flashed DjangoManouche over CWM (After flashing CWM 5.0.2.8e and 30aBB). Everything worked fine. After a couple of hours my Phone wasn't able to catch up some wifi out of sudden. I did a full wipe and flashed DjangoManouche again but still no wifi. So i changed BB back to 20L and NVFlashed Gueste2X "GoodBye" v2.0R hoping it would solve the issue. But it's still there :crying:
Everytime i try to turn wifi on it just says "activting", but nothing moves. Very strange thing
any suggestions?

Try to flash the rom with another cwm (5.x). Search in the dm thread for wifi.

i flashed dm with 6.x cmw
Mine works just fine without problems just try to install stock 30a with smartflash and the DM rom.

Where do i find the 30a stock with smartflash?
You can download the official KDZ here http://csmg.lgmobile.com/s...00/V30A_00.kdz for europe.
Then use this tool http://depositfiles.com/files/416e0lzaf to convert into a format that you can smartflash.
I've experienced some radio issues with v30a BB, so i've reverted back to v28 BB without any issues.
try flashing the 28G BB and see if that solves your issues, also remember to check the obvious, (wifi is working on another computer etc.)
also remember to forget and renew the wifi association on your phone between tests.

Flashing Stock v30a and 28g bb didn't do it for me I flashed [TOOL] Full Brick Repair (Clean & Easy) for now. Everything works except wifi.
I attached a screenshot of the wifi bug. Any further suggestions?

maybe you check something too... WHEN your wifi like on that screen is off, your HSDPA data is also off? (the bars are grey not blue..) i had that problem with paranoid android sometimes.. my wifi started to get buggy and my data also didnt worked anymore.. end of the result.. after 1 day i got about 60 whatsapp msg in 5seconds :/

rebooting doesn't do it too^^ yes some kind of off. When i open a webpage it turns blue... the phone is constantly trying to turn wifi on
It happened to me this thing before. In my case the baseband or the RIL was the fault. I don't remember very well...
May be you people are using a Baseband which is not matching. Try Leaked V30A baseband. Works perfect and ROM and BB are made for each other.

Try this:
1: Nvflash topogigi's v28g rom
2: boot and complete the first wizard
3: Shutdown the phone
4: Nvflash 5.0.2.8e recovery
5: Go in cmw wipe cache and dalvik cache
6: Flash diango manouche 1.0 rom
7: Flash v30a RIL
8: Boot
PS: Obviously, make sure you have v30a Baseband
I had also wifi issue (not turning on) and for me this procedure worked.. hope it works also for you

Didn't work for me did exactly what you discribed but still no wifi
The wifi problem is the same as SuperSkill got described here
I'll try Buccio's method and report back!
Do you think it could be a hardware issue?

Sadly it didn't work out for me either
I'm just searching for a fix for my Wifi. It's not necessary wich rom i should flash i just want my damn wifi to work :silly:
Please guys any other solutions?
if NVflash is not working (which does a fresh install)
sounds bad. unless its your wifi hub / router.
check to make sure you have wifi with another device. and data is in fact working.
then NVflash topo's v28G rom. then smart flash v28BB
then boot phone. and after the initial setup, try logging into wifi without restoring anything.
if it does work then, do the rest of your restoring, and see if it holds out.

did you try flash V30A baseband?
For me wifi is working
For me wifi working but it can't connect to a router , it's in a wifi loop (Searching, establishing, disconnecting)
EDIT: I flashed v30A with clean installation and cwm 5.0 and the same bug , and i flashed cm10 and still
EDIT2: Router problem , i'm genius

It's not about the wifi is not connectin or else, it's about wifi wont turn on at all (look at the screenshots i attatched here

of course look at the screenshots
i experienced radio (wifi, call signal, etc.) issues with v30BB you tried using v28bb.
there has already been a few reports of v30BB causing issues with wifi and phone calls.
if your radio is not working, you got to think about what could be affecting that, some thing as simple as a bad radio flash that finished could be causing your issue.
flash topo's v28 nvflash, .. that will allow you to use smartflash over new partition layout, and flash v28bb then update to DJM rom/kernel and give us some feedback.
dont restore anything, just check wifi with a clean install, full wipe. and remember to do a reboot after the initial setup.
