Can any one port TWRP recovery from gio. Gio have fully working TWRP recovery. Thanks
I think there's already a TWRP for our ace but it isn't fully working & as far as I remember it is even discontinued. CWM 5.0.2.6 is the best recovery, so stick to it. Do not experiment much, you might get into problems !!!

Last we heard, CyanogenMod 9's interaction with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 line was limited to the variants shackled either to T-Mobile or to WiFi. However, the CM team has been hard at work, and as of yesterday, the following three editions of the 10-inch tablet have been granted access to the CM nightly kingdom: Verizon's Galaxy Tab 10.1 (SCH-I905)
Unlocked WiFi + 3G Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500)
Galaxy Tab 10.1v (GT-P7100)

Flash pershoot's recovery from http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=2487 first. Make sure to download the P3 version
Optionally and recomended: Flash latest pershoot's kernel from http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/
Ok but if i flash my gtab, the camera works??
Thanks
So it begins...
I think we can't be more grateful to pershoot (and also isi, seo and the others 10.1v dev) to make it possible. Without them, we could only have dreamed to see our tab updated at all. Now we'll have almost daily updates...

No. I think it's based on isi and pershoot work, so the only changes probably will be more CM9 settings
I wonder if any of these are any more stable than the latest from the usual sources that pershoot has been giving us so far. I know it's based on his and Isi's work so I am just wondering

The file can't be flashed with odin.
It has to be flashed through cwm, but first you have to unlock your bootloader and aquire root.
Unlock your bootloader with this tut.

Get root via this....

I think you should find her a custom ROM that support app to sd.
I'm currently using CM10 by rohan007, follow this if you want extra space for the phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29407740&postcount=4
Maybe someone can help me :
Everytime i try to flash a Rom in recovery , the recovery reboots . Wipe and restore works perfect , tried it with twrp 2.2.2.1 and cwm 6.0.3.2 and with cm 10.1 by ADC and PAC Rom by krislibeear , so it cant be a problem of recovery or Rom zip ..
Anyone who knows a solution ?

Its a recovery problem. Accoording to a post of (username to hard to spell xD) it is related to the freq of the CPU. If im not mistaken. But what i dont understand is that users go to other versions atm v5.5.0.4 is the most stable arround

I know it is a lot of work but i think it is best for now to start from crappy samsung FW...
Did you boot to recovery from the restart menu of the ROM? If not, Start recovery and first what to do is to reboot recovery. Btw, i'm using TWRP 2.5.0.0 and never had any problems. But i always have to boot from the ROM.
Hey guys, I've been having this problem with my Galaxy Ace, and it is that I can't seem to install any other custom rom on it (via custom recovery mod), except for Stock Rom Evolution 1.5. Here is the link to that very rom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2079272 . An error message displays when I try to install any other custom rom which I find on the threads on this website, and believe me, I have tried to install alot of them! I was just wondering if anyone might have been experiencing similar issues, and would have any words of advice?
What error are you getting ? Be more specific & btw, wrong section.
