Well, yea probably the name comes cause it's ported from Xperia mini device/s.. just wanted to be sure about it. (Could of been cause it had less features/configs than 'Cyanogenmod' or who knows what else...)

its called minicm because nAa port rom and change some thngs to works better on our x8. also its lightweight than normal cm7

SIM unlock exploit?

I've been looking around for a while now and can't find anything, so I figured I'd better ask incase I missed it anywhere.
Is there any SIM unlock exploit available for the X8 like there is for the One S?

I'm not sure what you mean "exploit" but if you want to sim unlock an x8 you need paid methods

Well exploit was probably the wrong word but it mentioned in the linked thread that the method was found and exploited by others.
I know that generally I'd need to pay but after seeing that thread I thought something similar could be done with the X8.

the link didnt worked from my phone...
i checked it and there is no /dev/block/mmcblk0p6 directory, actually there is no mmcblk0p6 file...

I'm sorry, sounds like you have a problem with me asking a question, I did Browse a few pages, I came across one thread which was talking about the USA update.
Just had another quick look, found two threads talking about 4.2.2, however how am i suppose to know if its a official update or been flashed manually ?
Never mind.

Three told me today they haven't officially released 4.2.2 yet. Yet I had the update around two weeks ago:silly:. They are also saying that 4.3 is in the works, from what I understand they are trying to make their bloat-ware compatible with it

I've never had a problem with anyone asking questions, what frustrates me is People clogging the forums with needless threads to ask questions that have already been asked or answered or which could have been posted on an existing thread.

Before someone flames you, i'll tactfully let you know that there are already posts asking the same thing. I can assure you once a root method is discovered it will be posted and you will find it without question. Till then we just need to be patient.

Do you mind posting a link as to what you're talking about. As to my understanding, no fix has been released for 7.0+. We're all waiting on an official release from tmo atm ?

There was a fix for ux and mm based rom and many users tried that on nougat but weren't successful so according to many devs it will only be possible after official rollout of nougat for t-mobile..Sorry for inconvenient..Regards

In a text form, most that don't know will take "can" and "will" as the same thing. Hence, why I said "false hope"... I learned that only YOU know what YOUR taking about. Trying to get others to understand in a forum is a whole different ball game. I'm not getting bent out of shape, but to hint to someone, that you "can" fix your phone if you look at a particular section; is just wrong. Especially, when it's not a fix present. Just my 2 cents...
