[ recover ] need help urgently - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I accidently deleted all of my images and videos from my galaxy note....how can i bring them back....
its really urgent....those were important for me.

If you have backup then try restoring from there.if not, then use uninstall app from store.it needs root on your phone.may be you will get your files through this.

I used DiskDigger after I deleted images. Search in the market for it. It's free

I have easy recover installed on my PC. It recovers almost 99% files.
Dont read or write anything on ur phone. Just plug ur phone to the computer or if it was on the sd card then plug it in. Scan the drive and then restore the data. u will get most almost all of ur images.

works for me

Can anybody give me detailed how to format intrrnal sd card

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
What ROM are you running?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Settings - Storage - Format USB storage
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
if stock ics and unsafe kernel then flash safe kernel and go there settings storage and do it there. Take out external to be safe. Not you might want to backup fotos fron dcim folder.
If gb, then go to settings then storage, etc
Its all in user manual
edit: at own risk, also note warrantee issue when changing kernel.

Thanks guys but do i have t backup anyfile from internal sd or just format sd and reboot
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Copy DCIM folder, which may contains camera pic(depend on setting in camera app)
Plus copy if any media file you have manually keep on Int SD card (eg music/video)
Rest of files and folder will recreate, but yes some data you have to download again. That totally depends on which application you have installed. But sure by downloading again you can get it back.
You'll loose games' progressions, apps' settings... Just be sure to backup with an appropriate way (eg: Titanium backup, also lots of them need root)
games level, App setting stores in Int memory card??

Well, my bad...
Let's say that it could be the case if he used an app2sd app like DroidsAll ^^'
Still confirm one more time.
I never have used app2sd, but afaik it just sends some portion of appl to sd to make room and it can not b use to backup and you will have to reinstall appl to get it work so no meaning to keep that portion of data.
May b i m wrong, as earlier i said i have never move any app to sd with such appl.

Q. Lost all my SD card data when making partition?

Will someone help me
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Help with what? When partitioning the sd card it gets formatted, all data in it is lost. That's why you must backup all your data to your computer first (did you read tuts on partitioning?)

Happened the same once. In my case, i was lucky. I used this program: RECUVA, is from Piriform company. I managed to get my photos and videos again. Try it, its very simple and intuitive to use.
Questions should be posted in Q&A section. I'm moving this.

There is a program running on windows. Which name is Recuva.
Use that for recovering photos, videos and musics.
Recuva is good, but next time, and read how to do it first.

You can't get data off a formatted sd card. Next time, read what it warns you about.

Recovery deleted data from phone memory of galaxy note

Please tell me how to recover data deleted from phone.
I have seen pretty good apps which recover data but all needed rooted devices and I have not yet rooted my galaxy note2 please help me
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Use recuva software for computer. Connect your phone via USB cord then download recuva. It does not require root. Because you are recovering from your computer not your phone. Search for recuva.
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
But brother data is stored on mobile and while recovering from recuva there is no option for external usb devices
Any other idea pls
