Can the Clockworkmod recovery be made adaptable to devices using Skrilax's OR with 2ndBoot or FuFu's MiniMod OR? Or else can the Clockworkmod be included in MiniMod OR as an additional recovery?I think the clockworkmod can do more things which the other two ORs can not do.

Any idea about Amon Ra recovery nandroids?
I was wondering if it was possible to create an ext3 sd partition with Clockwork Recovery, as amon does not install right for me as evidenced by this thread.

Why is Clockwork Recovery better than stock? Is it simply because it will let you run any .zip from the sd?
Clockwork is modified to give several additional features, such as backup and restore, and installing zip files, deleting cache, etc
It also allows for installation of unsigned/unverified files that allows us to flash ROMs the way that we do.
Please Help! Thanks!
sorry using clockworkmod 2.5.0.7

You can easily install it with "Rom Manger" from the Market!
Then boot in recovery and select "partition sdcard".
Click on "partition sdcard" and then you can select the size and swap.

I understand that he needs a *system* partition which is bigger than 86MB, not a partition on sd-card.
Having the 1.33.0013(d) or 1.33.2005 SPL installed, system partition size should be already sufficient. But to be more flexible you could try to use Custom MTD. With this method, you are flexible in defining your mtd partition sizes, i.e. the size of /system, /cache and /data can be defined individually. But before trying this, you should first learn something more about the different SPLs, radios and how to install them. Especially a base knowledge of fastboot is a must!
Note: mtd partitions and sd-card partitions are two different things.
Thanks habitat22 for the info. Will definitely check it out.

My friends
Development of custom roms depends on stable clockworkmod recovery. For instance i need my s6802 for daily ure. Because of that i can not test custom roms without knowledge that i can safely restore to earlier state.
The problem with building proper CWM was with finding recovery partition because recovery partitions are not detectable on some devices for which /proc/mtd and /proc/emmc does not exist.
I did my homework, so i dump-ed all partition and isolated all under 10Mb and send them to builder.clockworkmod.com. After few unsuccessful builds, i get one SUCCESSFUL :laugh::laugh:
so recovery partition is mmcblk0p5 i did get output (in att) but recovery.fstab will need to be tweaked to support mounts and their mount points.
From this point I need help.
Maybe this helps: http://www.koushikdutta.com/2010/10/porting-clockwork-recovery-to-new.html
Here are all files and clockwork builder output: http://www.mediafire.com/?e5ga8551wx1iyuu
Hi,
Good job... Hope someone can help you because it would be nice to have a full working CWM recovery.
