Q: What is MagicMod
A: MagicMod is a custom rom mainly based on aosp , and implements other open source projects' feature. We also make some special features by ourself, we want to make a light-weight, user-friendly,open sourced miui-like rom. Sine it is an open source project, every contribution(maintain new devices, push patches, fix bugs) is appreciated.
Q:Waht's about the update/OTAs
A:Sine we're a small group and don't have enough code related support/money by others, we updated roms about once a week by our home pc.(So don't curious about the rom name like Local-Build-xxxx

thanks, I just saw the X3RIL code and looks similar to CM but like you said it has some modifications, i will try this rom, i'm tired of CM based ROM's RIL problems

yes, it has some drops but sometimes it recovers the signal, and sometimes just reboot to get signal again... but at least is more stable than original CM, however, i've been using original CM 11 nightly with v10h baseband and for today i haven't any drop

maybe is silly request,but can anyone please upload last build of this rom on some mirror site because im on limit internet so l can't use OTA fuction?

Sorry guys that I wasn't here for a long time, but I had no time.I will now update my source and then build the ROM, without any changes.Then I will update the buglist and now I will really contribute to this thread, not like before.I will try to fix each and every bug so it can be very stable!
I will also add a changelog and to every new build I will add some features from other ROMs.
EDIT: I messed something up on my drive, so I need to sync the source again.

Hi guys,
I'm done with the build, and now I will show you the bugs.The bugs aren't related to ril, wifi, bluetooth,..They are related to framework stuff, like SystemUI, framework-res,..
That means it's a daily driver but you will get often bugs with the Statusbar and Framework like:
-Some PNG's aren't changing or even applying after activating
-Clock is sometime disappearing
-Recent apps isn't showing
-Statusbar FC's when kliching on Mobile Data icon
The only thing I must solve which is has to do with hardware is the SD Card mounting bug!Oh yeah, there is onther bug: Root isn't working.
I will search for fixes, and then I will try to patch them in my source.

Okay, I looked on the net and I tryed to atleast fix the root bug but it didn't work, I don't know what to do!
Maybe I synced the false source or so.Because I can't imagine that it's the device tree's fault when framework has bugs!

I'm building till yesterday because my PC always shutted down and now this!!

I found out that the ChameleonOS team stopped developing this ROM, as there are no new commits to this. There is neither an official CameleonOS for any device and much other devices has same bugs as this one. Sorry for this, but when they start working on it, I will start to make a new build ASAP!

It feels so good when new devs make ROM for our beloved i9300:thumbup:

So, I am obviously missing something. Every AOSP rom that I try just hangs at a black screen during boot. Never even a boot animation. Running Alliance TW rom just fine in slot 1.
G900V retail (not dev edition).
Can someone clue me in on where my derp moment is here? I'd love to be running CM or Liquid..

Edit: After waiting at black screen, I notice that my power button does make the capacitive buttons illuminate, and i am getting some sound too. But black screen.

Well, I tried using headphones and its not working, all sounds are thru phone speaker.

I'm just going to guess you have safe strap and if you do only touch wiz works with it. I don't the l think the retail even has an unlocked boot loader so it can't run cm (as far as I know)

Headphones are working for me (G900R4)

-Gps on Sygic doesn't work. But you know that already
-Touchscreen doesn't work on some apps ( snes9x emulator,..)

Battery life is something that varies from user to user and device to device. It's nothing to do with the ROM or AK R3 since I use the same combo

Two things to report:
1. Latest build has Play Services FC. Tried with banks and tk gapps. Narrowed it down to Google location service (through network, not GPS). Must be a toolchain thing, happened in another rom a while ago, cant remember which.
Clean flash, ofc.
2. Notification drawer is messed up when disabling Enlarge First Row. it goes back to normal after a reboot.
Neat rom, would love to see some more CM cruft removed, like System Profiles, Top level Wifi, Bluetooth and Mobile Data switches (redundant). Love the idea of a minimal CM rom with RRO, because the main turnoff in said rom is de overwhelming options, lack of organisation and general bloating of the settings menu.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

The wait is over for the official build. Gonna be downloading it Now

I think by far the best rom I've ever tasted. The only drawback is that of the microphone, which is heard really low. The only solution I found was to install a custom Kernel and modify the mic gain, but when I close the app, it sounds low again. If that problem could be solved I think I would be the only rom to do it... It is perfect.

The first thing you need to do is download some custom kernel, like Zeus kernel, and then flash.
1.- Download and install any kernel editor or manager (I used Ex Kernel Manager)
2.- Go to the tabs in the app and look for the "sound" section.
3.- Set microphone gain between 9 and 11
4.- Save Changes and find the option to start when you turn on the mobile.
Once this is done, it will start automatically when you turn on the phone. However, when you close the kernel Manager application you will lose the changes, so if you are sending an audio, try having the application in the background to make sure it works.

Led is totally dead or only in charging?

Going to give this a try.

Im using rr from past 3 days the charging speed is too slow using the original charger of Xiaomi before rr i used the pixel experience and the the charging speed is so fast now the rr it always shows charging slowly

It basically depends on a few factors. The kernel used in RR is pure stock, no modifications for increasing charging speed and all.
