Samsung Genuine Flip Cover available from Mobilefun.co.uk

I am a proud owner of a white galaxy note 2 for a week now, i bought it from expansys.. and alltough i allready has the note 1 i am amazed how good this new version feels and its improvments...
Anyway i found it very stupid that even though such a premium smartphone comes out and the companies dont bother to release accessories with it.. you have to wait so long to get them!
Good news is i ordered a Genuine Samsung Flip Cover (white) from www.mobilefun.co.uk and should have it in a few days time..
Its the first company i found that has availability of this case, which as you might know replaces the battery cover and protects also the front screen.
I am now waiting for a samsung car dock with usb ingector to come out as the note1 which was perfect..

The blue looks cool think it would look good with the white note 2 , 40bucks is kinda steep though, any coupons or rebates

My flip case arrived this morning. I have a white Note 2 but thought the silver contrats with it pretty well after seeing some video of the case fitted.
The back part of the case is actually slightly thicker than the stock backing. This is to accomodate for the hinge where the front cover attaches. You can see that the chrome surround on the lens sits just slightly below the level of the back case in the photo below. It also feels thicker when you unbox it as there isn't the flex in it as per the stock back casing. Fits lovely and looks real nice though. The micro-fibre lining on the inside is also a nice touch as well as a slight recess for the home button to sit in when the cover is closed.

Is the replacement back thick enough from preventing the chrome around the camera from getting scratched if you set it down?

I am going to get the White Note 2 with the official Mint green Samsung cover with back plate.
I agree with most that the Grey does look better. But since ill be keeping a protector or in this case flip &back cover, the Whote note 2 fits all colour combination. Much more versatile choice of colour

It's a very nice cover and really thinking about it.
However, this case is going to cause problems with use in a car holder (for GPS)

How practical and durable are they in use? Making calls for example, if you have to fold the flap back will the hinge distort, crease, or break over time?

I had the flip cover on my Note 1 for nearly a year and it never had such a problem. Since the Note 2's flip cover is basically the same design, I don't think it will either.

No issues doing either.

I'm getting the White Galaxy Note 2 & just wondering is the grey flip cover a better suit for it then the white version of it?
I myself would only change the back cover only if I thought it looked good & matched well with the white GN2.

my only concern with the flip cover is it doesnt provide enough protection to the phone. Its not going to cushion any fall like a wrap around case would.

I used the white flip cover with my Note 1, and let me tell you, it got very dirty, very quickly. I wouldn't recommend it

very nice fitting ok when i univirsal clamp incar holder but pain in the ass to take pics with i got the grey phone with white case as that was the only one i could find in town bit pricey @£29.99 but got it free with the phone but need side protection so am still looking for something more rugged one

The only thing i don't understand about this case is why they didn't make a hole for the notification led.
I got mine today and that is the first thing i noticed about it.
I will end up making a hole myself in it but i think it is a design fault
Oh i got the grey one and i heard that the notification led with the white one is visible although it is also missing a hole in it.

Warning on the flip cases (mint)

So I bought the two pack of flip cases 5 days ago and the one ive used for five days is already turning that gross brown/black color around the inside edges and the little piece that covers the volume rocker

. Still works fine still looks good but I imagine itll get worse quick so if your ocd like I am about these things just a fair warning.
Edit: was told its a defective case I recieved and I was given a new one. New one started showing the same wear after two days. Id avoid this color

What particular flip case was this? Is this the OEM from Samsung or a 3rd party one? 5 days is too short to start developing marks like that, if ever.

Well I talked to them on live support thought i was getting somewhere and then got a message please call 18007570280 for accessory support. I'll call in a bit. But I can't believe it got this bad in only five days

I've used a white flipcase since they were available. No discoloration for me at all. Mine has stayed very clean and like new. Carry it in my pocket everyday. And use it lots at work and home.

Hmmm I have no idea why mines so bad than. Does anyone have an email I could try? I called the number they gave me and was told you got it dirty thats not our fault meanwhile looking at the case you csn tell its never been dirtied.

Already having issues. I believe its because the inside of the case is also green everywhere that gets the least bit moist (sweaty palms) discolors almost instantly. I just tried to clean a little spot and it turned gray as soon as it got touched

I'm looking for a phone case (no flip preferably) for my Honor 7. That is not for the "design" but to protect it (fall, etc.). So the case should exceed slightly the screen edge to protect it. Any ideas?

I bought a silicon one which is fine, except for one big fault which you should all watch out for on this model - the FINGERPRINT SCANNER they left a silly small hole for it, but the thickness means you have to bend your finger in, makes it really difficult to use. Need to find one with plenty of room for the fingerprint scanner, protection isn't really needed there so they should leave the back there completely open. Any suggestions? Maybe I should just cut out a bigger hole lol

So i had given up on a lifeproof case until i saw your post. And someone still owed me a christmas gift so i went ahead and ordered it haha. I should get it by january 4th and ill post up pics and my thoughts on it. But from the reciews on the iphone 6 it looks like the case is well made. Hopefully same goes for the note 5

So because of the holidays my case was delayed. Should be getting by saturday, will post my thoughts and if possible pics of the case either saturday or sunday. Sucks because i really needed it for this weekend.

So im not able to post any pictures up at this time. But my first thoughts on yhe case are pretty good. I have nothing else to compare it but to the lifeproof case for galaxy s6. The case itself feels good in the hand and its not as bulky as compared to others. The alluminum rim feels nice on the hand, the "issue" wpuld be that ived used it for a little over 24 hours and the screen protector has some slight micro scratched from where i slide my finger on the screen. No big deal to me as its not noticeable except on direct sunlight. Havent been home and havent had a chance to test the wireless charging but ive had thicker cases and they work so im sure this one will aswell. Honestly its my first "review" and idk what else to say haha but i highly recommend and its definetly going to be my daily case now

hi the front is plastic protection?

Yea the front is a plastic screen protector. The audio doesnt seem to be muffled a lot as much as lifeproof did for my s6, which is something i really like on this case, thats why im able to make it my everyday case.

Also wireless charging works fine, a little bit choppy because the aluminum sides kind of block it slightly, but overall this case feels nice, it looks cheap to me because I've been using premium phones and cases for a while. For a Waterproof case they made minimal compromise in design quality. Overall a 8.5-10stars with a highly recommend.

The rubber tips where out of curiosity? The bottom? No they can't be removed without possibility breaking them. But they are of decent size my charger fit and I don't use headphones anymore or I'd test it, a little small but they leave an adapter for you. The spot for the spen is to small honesty I have huge fingers and I find it a little tough to get out. But again I don't mind I use this phone for the hardware more then anything, the inside is basically a piece of rubber tape around the sides to not scratch your phone it's definitely doing a good job but it isn't premium looking. Kind of ugly, but only you will know that. But the mechanism for the spen feels SUPER sturdy I trust this thing

Looking for midframe

I am looking for a cloud white mid-frame assembly for my nexus 6. I ordered one on eBay from China over a month ago and it still hasn't showed up yet. I have looked on eBay and amazon but seems like everyone of the cloud white mid-frames come from freakin China. The only ones I can find in the U.S are the midnight blue mid frame, and I don't want the mid night blue. Does anyone know a website were I can order what I need from the USA that way I don't have to wait 6 dam! months to receive it. I have contacted the seller on eBay about this. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

The only ones I can find in the U.S are the midnight blue mid frame, and I don't want the mid night blue. Does anyone know a website were I can order what I need from the USA that way I don't have to wait 6 dam! months to receive it. I have contacted the seller on eBay about this. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

You can also searching some Moto X pro midframes (XT1115). It's a Nexus 6-compatible frame and exist in dark grey color
But hard to find now..

Wow, I didn't know those would work on the nexus 6. I used to have a moxo x pure 2015 edition. The MotoX and the nexus 6 have a lot of similarities but isn't the mid-fram a little bit smaller than the N6?

I found some MotoX pure midframes. I didn't think the midframes would be wide enough. Also I don't want blue I would like to have white. Although I have been thinking about buying a blue midframe and slapping a cloud white back battery cover on it, but then again, probably not. I have a white carbon fiber dbrand skin coming with the nexus cut + colored moto emblem + nexus cutout skin.

Yep, 100% sure.
But I'm talking about Moto X PRO (2014 i guess), maybe not the Pure edition.

It looks pretty good, even when he polished it, making it shiny..
I've bought a cloud white model and just changed to the blue back cover.
IMHO it's the prettiest combination of colors. Don't understand why Moto did the blue frame, it looks so wack for me..

It looks like, yeah. But it is moto X frames, which is quite smaller (5,2" instead of 5,96" of n6 and moto x PRO screen size)

Just figured out what's the moto x PRO version.. In fact, when Lenovo bought Motorola from Google, they released the Moto X PRO version, which looks exclusive to china (maybe east asia) and is a N6 substitute
That's why it's hard to find replacement pieces as we have to search over chinese stores..

I believe I'm just gonna go with the white midframe and a black battery cover

I've been under the impression that you wanted white and no other midframe color. If that's wrong, then I can vouch for this mid frame (Amazon Prime). It's what I used on my phone.

I do want white, I didn't know about the MotoX pro midframe untillbi was told about it a few posts back. I was just checking out the pro version. Thanks for the link I'll check it out. Oh the midframe that I ordered from China on 5-22 just reached the United States this morning, so I'll be receiving it probably Monday or Tuesday of next week. I also ordered a black back door battery cover, I was gonna go with the white cover that I already have, but I saw a picture of a nexus 6 with a black cover and white frame. It looked pretty cool, so that's what I'm gonna go with. Also have a white sim tray coming in a few day to complete the look. I have some other things I'm gonna do to my nexus as soon as all of my stuff I ordered comes in. I will post some picks when I get it done. I really do appreciate everyones help!

Did it specifically say it was for the Moto X Pro? If not, don't buy it as it will likely be for the Moto X Pure. Also, Moto X Pro components are notoriously difficult to get as the device was only offered in China.
You might just want to get the blue midframe and remove the anodized coating if you can't find the white.
EDIT: Seems several posts were made between the post showing the pic of the midframe and my reply. So I'm out of date.

I have been experiencing this also but it just does it on the amazon app. I wonder what could be causing this

Update just got my stuff in today. Which would you pick for the battery cover..

I ended up going with the black back. Check it out, I'm really happy with the way it turned out! I thought about putting the dbrand skin on it, but I believe I will hold off on the skin for awhile. I like the black back and the cloud white/silver bezel.

Is your battery back cover really black or is it the midnight blue version ? How is the touch feeling ? Has it a soft touch effect as Nexus 5 had ? (desperatly miss that finition )
