Samsung Genuine Flip Cover / Flip case - Cheapest shop?

They are available for 37.99€ at:

Out of stock at the moment but a bit cheaper.

clove.co.uk has the white and grey ones only (both currently out of stock, expected "late november") for £24.99. However +£3 UK delivery brings it up to £28.59 (still cheaper than the above, in the UK at least)

I'm hoping that we can get these cheaper from US retailers once US carriers release the phone.

I couldn't wait so got the white one from mobile fun now all I need is my best skins ever body cover hope they get it quick time.

Crikey... Their delivery charges are way off the chart! Good job the product prices are low!

The china knock offs have been popping up on ebay if you want a much cheaper alternative. The quality is not as good as the genuine but for USD7 or so, cant complain.

Yeah gonna need some more pictures at least, I can't tell if it clips on over the back or replaces it.

Can't fault Lambda-tek, ordered yesterday afternoon & arrived this morning at 08:30 - even beat the postman.
Yes delivery charge is ridiculous but overall works out cheaper then anywhere else I could find.

I am waiting for MobileFun to get the orange or blue ones in stock.

Has anyone checked the flipcovers from ebay out yet? Guess its the chinese models. they don't replace the back cover as far as i know.
Looks like they use a magnetic clip in order to stay shut. Anyone know if that's gonna be a problem for the Note II?

Anything magnetic is going to screw up the S-Pen.

I ordered the grey one from handtec which was out of stock for couple of days but they have stock right now, i paid $ 61.00 to be delivered to the US.

Forget about any flip cover that dont have NFC antenna or have a magnetic clip or even dont replace the battery cover, aim for the genuine one if u can afford it.. just my advice..

I am afraid that u r wrong in that man,NFC antenna is located at the back cover not the battery it self.

I've purchased 2 watch bands, I'll post up pictures when I get them!

I've ordered a Hadley Roma kevlar band, will post pics when it arrives

watch band i picked up locally for $5 used, because the rubber one was too itchy for me. its "genuine leather" but its very light, surprisingly comfortable, and looks alright. should hold me over til the kevlar one arrives to complement the back of my phone

I bought the Fossil Leather band for it, really like it. Nice thick leather, I especially like the piece that goes under the watch. Couple of better pics and a link. There is a Fossil store where I live so I got mine there, but you can order online.

It's rubber, so it does tend to pick up a lot of dirt/fuzz. Washes off effortlessly however.

That's not too bad. Can give it a wash when it's charging time.

nice watch band. black leather would look nicer i think, i'm not sure whether they have it tho

It's called iWatchz STLDBRDYTP Timepiece Stainless Leather Watch Strap - available from Amazon for about $25.
It's a bit tricky to install and I have to take it to a watch repair show, but it cost me only $5 and the band covers edge to edge (see the picture).

There are many of these.. search in Pebble forums.
HOWEVER, there is a warning for using 22mm metal band...
Be careful of using any metal band which has spring-loaded ends to allow the band to fit various widths of watch lugs. These spring loaded pieces are often sharp edged, and push against the insides of the watch lugs, to ensure no lateral slack. BUT they can easily cut into the insides of the watch lugs, even with a metal watch; and the Pebble has plastic lugs ! You really need to get a metal band with fixed 22 mm ends.
Being in the watch repair trade I have seen many vintage watches with lugs carved away by these awful bands - don't do this to your Pebble.

Here it is! Note that I also use "SlickWraps" to give the "wooden" effect lock on the watch face.
PS: I don't know how to ROTATE the picture 90 degrees for posting in XDA...so the pics look sideways..

I have one of these fitted. Very chunky, very heavy and very nice.
To me the contrast of the polished stainless steel with the black watch looks very nice.
It required fitting in a jewellers due to them needing to take a couple of links out of the strap for size.

What's the process like for actually changkng the bands. Is it very difficult ? Is the stock band damaged during removal?

There's actually only one that is smaller.
This one doesn't cover the side border so you still get to feel that fine metal build quality. Also it's clear so you still get to see the beauty of the actual device. :good:

yeah i hear you i used one on my note and it was so annoying

the wireless chargers arent supposed to be able to charge through the cases correct? Best buy employee told me they should but I had no luck with my case, just wondering doubt they would.

Interesting, I thought it would be fine because I can hold my phone a few inches above the charger and it will actually charge. So a few mm thick case shouldn't be an issue you would think.

I have the platinum aluminum thin case from best buy and it won't wireless charge, the charging port on the one with the kickstand and clip is to small for the charger (major fail)

Don't buy the platinum case as its a waste of money.
I had bought the $40.00 and noticed that it is worthless, hardly any protection and its cheaply designed. I went to an actually Verizon store and bought an incipo for only $30.00 which btw has an actually fitted charging port, since the Platinum's charge port is to small to actually plug in a wired charger for.

Anything that is metal will definitely block the wireless charge. I have a metal magnetic mount and I just placed the magnetic plate on the back of my S6 today and it blocked wireless charging. I had to move the plate a little further up towards the camera from the middle to free up some space. It works now but I have to make sure it's in the correct spot or otherwise it won't charge.

I have to say , this case is a besst , almost the same protection as otterbox ,but slimmer ;it looks like UAG , but have the extra front frame protection— a PC with a built-in Screen protector . (You need to peel 2 Seal Frame on the Screen protector before installation) The back cover is a clam shell polycarbonate shell combined with high quality PC .The inner pattern use a shockproof technology -so called bee hive suspension system, protects your phone from shock, vibration and scratches The ports are covered with flaps that are tight and designed to lock into place. They are designed to minimize the ingress of moisture or dust into the critical switches and ports. The phone front screen has a cover that covers all of it except the home button because of the fingerprint sensor. The edge of the case is high around the front of the phone and you can get the fingerprint sensor to work but because of the new higher angle of your finger's approach you may want to rememorize your finger prints. Instead of starting another thread with a review, just wanted to +1 the OP. This case is a great value at twice the price! The fit is on point, and it's the first time I have had a full cover case like this that I am keeping on my phone. It isn't nearly as bulky as the Otterbox, but offers every bit of the protection. Looks good, everything works great...I forget the whole thing is covered!

My note 5 should show up tomorrow, I just ordered this case off of Amazon. The %50 code is still active. I am coming from a otterbox defender with the built in screen protector removed. As you can't remove the battery I dont see much reason to take the case off once I get it on. Thanks guys.

hey , i am a regular customer for th OTTERBOX
I paid over 500 hundred for them
I asked question why the otterbox feels so good .
the manufactory told me : 1 the marketing 2 the QC 3 they use TPE instead if TPU , which is cheap but feel better
but to me , the packaged will cost me 10 dollars at least

Red sandstone cover?

Hey there!
I just googled a bit but found nothing concluant: I'd sell my children (I don't have any yet so be patient eh) for a sandstone red cover.
Have you ever heard of something like this? I got some red cover but as I sweat a lot from hands, it goes very fast from "clean like new" to "omg what's that mess". I hadn't the problem with the black sandstone one.

The printing on the bottom is a bit much,I've contacted Pelosi (the mfg) before regarding this,never heard back.
I have used this brand of case w/the sandstone finish on many other phones & was never disappointed in fit & finish,less the tramp-stamp on the lower end of the case.

I'm not a seller at all, but I've tried them all and I can say the best case with sendstone effect are those:

The case is in TPU with very precise cutouts and a great scrubby finish! Also it's not an hard case, so it'll protect your OP5T
If you want a more subtle finish (like the sandstone white OP5T, it's exactly the same) there's this case too:

I suggest you the wine red one, very nice imho!

I ordered one each of the Black/Red/Maroon @ $2.99 each + I upgraded to ePacket for tracking/faster shipping ($1.79 per case),so,barely $15 USD for all three cases. :good:

Could you post pictures of your own? It seems a bit weird that there's no cut out for the fingerprint reader.

They look awesome! Thank you very much. The first one doesn't look sandstoned but the picture may actually not be clear enough. For the price, I'll get them two ahah! I'm also worried of the lack of hole for the fingerprint sensor, is there an actual hole on your?

Yes, those pictures one Aliexpress are quite awful renderings. I'll upload one asap, there's a hole don't worry about it.
I've been using those covers since the OnePlus 3, I found them by searching for a cheap alternative to the original Sandstone case and I can tell you those are even a better e choice than the original one since are made in great TPU and covers the buttons too.
They are made from one factory but are sold by many different sellers on Aliexpress, I usually find them with the keywords "(smartphone name) sand (or scrub) case TPU".
The one in dark red is from a different manufacturer, it has a softer yet still grainy surface (it almost identical to the finish of my OP5T in Sandstone White).
The only downside is the long shipping time and that, just like the original, they'll loose the original sandy finish after some months of usage. However for that price it's simple to swap it with a new one!
About the first type I've tried all the different colors except for the golden and pinky ones, I can tell you the blue is very beautiful shade.
Keep me posted if you like them and upload some pictures too!

If you're looking for a red one I suggest you to buy both the red and the dark red models, trust me you won't be disappointed!
