If any DEV can make a kernel with OTG support... How should it work?
Just put the otg cable into the phone and the pendrive into the cable? Or do I have any program for it?
Thanks...

As I understood connect OTG cable, put pen drive in it, and it will show in storage, file explorer I suppose. But someone wrote that it didn't work, as I remember.
Im not trying to be rude, but If your pendrive do not even turn on how could it be accessible ?
Aparently our device do not have the inner hardware that you need to plug anything, so the kernel changes are not enough.
And, of course, if you have read the thread you would know that cus I posted it there.

In many thread, says that o4x not support usb otg...i've heard a rule to make o4x support usb OTG
So you can try this step :
1.root your HH
2.install "android terminal emulator"
3.write su, if appear permissions superuser klik "Allow".
4.then fill
ls /dev/block
This is for check the flashdisk are enable or not ,if done ...look on the list, make sure there is sda or sda1. If yes it means your flashdisk enable.
5.and than write on terminal emulator
mount -t vfat /dev/block/sda1 /udisk
enter.
This is for mount flashdisk to our hh . sda1 was our sdcard placed , and vfat are kind of partition of our flashdisk.
Find folder "udisk" atau "usb*" on file manager
If done, write in android terminal.emulatiot
umount /udisk
Thats all
for me there is no sda or sda1
have u tested this method???????????
Or you can use this app~

Nobody is going to try something out that is recommended by a 1-month active user with 12 posts and no 'Thanks' unless he can provide very good proof that he has done it himself on his phone and it works with no problems. It's called "Trust".
Moved to General where it SHOULD be
Wait...until i try it,sorry im posting that it never tried, but wait...
I'll try soon

I'm not sure, that O4X is able to power up the USB drive, you probably have to use external power source for the host.
no proof of solution

It was hard to ask that question on Omega kernel thread?
If you read it, you would know that somebody else tried it and it is not working.

It should be like you put in USB port of your computer. It shows like another partition in phone beside internal and external SD memory.

First of all I think that these drives meant for otg. Coz noreason for them to be here in "storage"....in phone memory.
Secondly if our phone does not have a hardware compatible with otg why to even try to port this feature to advance.

Nobody is sure whether our phone is hardware compatible for OTG or not. At the moment SGSA is not powering up the connected device. It might be also because of the code also.

Same things as CWM, just differend interface.
TWRP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=XSOlG3_NX6M&t=105

Both TWRP and CWM are known as custom recovery program created to flash mods, themes, apps, kernels, ROMs, wipe system, wipe data, etc.. But in my opinion TWRP is much more user friendly, since it is very easy to use and it has fully touch driven user interface so no need to press volume rocker or power buttons like CWM...

check this link http://usbotghelper.wordpress.com/confirmed-devices/
it is about USB OTG and it shows that SGSA 9070 is supported.
download USB OTG Helper from play store and try it.
As far as I know, our phone has the capability for OTG support but its disabled by Samsung... I think its a kernel feature and I believe that Cocafe is working on it.... So, you guys need to wait till he finds a soulution for this...
Please correct me if I am wrong

Dude, what exactly are you do it from begining?
I mean, what ROM, kernel, flashed zips/theme tell exactly what are you do it before.
Android is upgrading message is shown when catche and dalvic catche is wiped. You have installed some scripts which wipes catche on reboot. It will cause no problem on your phone. Just ignore it.

I think it won't be hard to do.We just need to change mount points in ramdisk.Too many devices are achieving this.I'm gonna give it a try once my exams are finished.
