Hello XDA and fellow Tab2 users,
Play store lets me download and install apps. How ever some apps, when started on mij P5110 tab, give the message 'app not compatible with your device'
Most of the times these apps are games. For example PES12.
Is this an known isseu and is there an workarround for this?
I red something about the compatebility of apps with android 4.03?

Please say on what rom you are, for further help.
whatsapp isnt compatible,too.
European Stock rom ICS 4.03, rooted. (rooted or unrooterd, no different outcome within this issue)
Those apps.. working fine one the previous version of Galaxy Tab 10.1
So I think is has something to do with the version of android 4.03
The different thing with whatsapp is, that play store tells me in advance that its not compatible with my device, so i cant download it. Those other apps i can download and they start. After start up the message appears.

That's odd, because my P5110 device with stock rooted ROM let me install and play PES12.
However I know what you mean. Recently I bought NFL Pro 2012, but right after the installation a pop-up message told me this game wasn't compatible with my device.
I figured that it has something to do with CM9 which my device ran at that moment. I haven't re-installed this game after I went to stock again, but when I do I share my findings.
[EDIT] Still don't manage to install the game. There is a pop-up telling me to request a refund so I will contact the developer.
Maybe its the entry in the build.prop? I think the app doesnt recognize the device as ok, thats because it works on different roms.
Just an idea...

i think this lines could be the reason.. but im not a pro. i will try it tomorrow..

I can now play the games on galaxy tab2.

I Have taken Game The Adventuer of Tintin HD.N When I had Install it,it Shows u'r divce is not compitable.My Divce name is Samsung Galaxy Tab 2(310).

Can this be used on a 3110??
I don't have the device to test it but probably can. I think they have the same mount points. Just make sure u have a backup. I'm not sure what features u may or may not lose.

Having the same problem. Hashes Dont Match. Downloading from a computer.
I'm at work for a bit. Not sure why your getting an error. I've downloaded it twice today this morning and again a half hour ago. And once from my phone. Lemme make it home and ill take a look. It has I dunno 50 or 60 downloads alrdy. So there shouldn't be any issues

It's just the mirror. Try the main server link. My host said the mirror will be fixed in a few minutes. Mirror was corrupting the copy it makes from main server

Hello im a newbie android user here . I just came from ios. I find android to be a good os although there is one problem that makes me pissed. That is the android market . It always say server error. Can anyone post ways on how to fix this one. I tried clearing cache then reboot but nothing happened. Thanks guys.

settings\apps\downloaded\google play store and press clear data

Maybe you need to uninstall play store and reinstall it after a reboot , but for exact help about Play store issues, this is their support line http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=known_issues.cs&ki_topic=1319135
or a factory reset should do it, but you may have a lot of work to do, trying to backup and re install all your setup
Yes sir . I've already done that. Still the problem persists. Android is good or much better than ios. But there are problems that persists and is not solved. anyway im enjoying this phone. Great work on Dolphin attached APK FILE, I was able to install into my kindle Fire 2.
However now I want to add jetpack add-on, please help.
I installed this app to try it, "Xperia_Launcher_2.apk" and I do not want to use it and want to remove it.
when I go to installed applications it only gives me the option to force stop.
I not sure how to uninstall the app?

You need a root uninstall app or use a root file explorer to manually remove it.

I did, but apperently I did not get the correct file because it still show up.
Can you post screenshots? Might help to see what you mean (even though it seems obvious).
