this are the .qmg file..extract the zip file and move into system/media..set permission r-w-rr..
does this work on P3100 and is flashable?

I found a custom boot animation for the green bay packers but ill replace the bootanimation.zip with the new one then i reboot and it doesnt change the bootanimation anyone know how to do this with gingerbread???

Then rename your zip to sanim.zip and dump it in system/media folder

lol!!! ...mine has 2 w8 fr da full bootanimation ....the phones almost full with apps nd the sd is full with test ROMS

I never cease to learn.
I just installed Bootanimation Blue and works Great !!!
I could not believe my eyes.
Replaced the stock cm7 bootup animation with the blue one...and it works.

Me and OP not responsible if your phone get stuck on bootscreen after flashing. My flashables are tested and worked on my phone.

Just download the file, extract the jpegs the first one with windows picture viewer or any viewer then tap and hold right arrow key. Now you can see an animation.

humm what ROM you are using? if flashable don't work, just extract the bootanimation.zip copy and replace the original one in \system\media, set permission to RW-R-R

ppermission setting is not needed in /system/media. just replacing and rebooting will work

1 download
2 copy to system/media folder, if there is a bootanimation.zip in your media folder either delete if you don't want to keep it or rename it to keep it
3 paste androidbootanimation to media folder
4 go into the properties of androidbootanimation and change the permissions to rw-r-r
5 rename androidbootanimation to bootanimation
6 reboot and enjoy

First zip file is a flashable zip
the second one is the bootanimation.zip of the xperia t.
But the thing that I want you people to resize is the Xperia Z bootanimation. I know you want it too. right? though I think the bootanimation of Xperia T is a lot more cooler.

Your phone freezes?? It just don't show the bootanimation but it boots normally...

So now that we can flash splash screens to our phones has anyone tried putting any custom boot animations on as well or made any? Is it as easy as just replacing the boot animation zip like older devices?
