"For those who are interested in car dual usb efficient charging"
I am using 4.2 amp dual usb car charger bought on eBay. Importantly, I can charge two Note 2's simultaneously where one is mostly on 100% brightness running Google navigation and slacker radio over bluetooth on at&t LTE network and other one charging while being used for light browsing, emails, calls etc. Dual charging is quick and comparable to stock AC charger.
Ebay item number is 320779507652
Newly registered user, therefore I can't post direct link. Hope this helps!

Hope you sell lots of them.
I am not a seller, I am a technology enthusiast who regularly follows forum and few months ago when we both upgraded from S2 skyrocket and iphone 4S to Note 2, car charger issue started bothering me. I searched extensively for dual usb car charger with 2.1A + 2.1A output and narrowed down to two choices, one is sold by Kensington for ~$28 and other is the one I posted on eBay for ~$14. I ended up buying 2 from eBay so that I can have my both cars covered for cheap, whenever we are driving together. I wanted to contribute to forum by sharing this information long ago as I see everyday folks wondering about a good usb car charger, but I was just reluctant to register.
Please feel free to delete my post if moderators feels that it is more of advertisement towards purpose of commercial gain which isn't true.

Mine's 2.1 on both outputs, 4.2 total. They must have some QC issues.

I've had mine for over a year with zero problems. But it does sound like there are QC problems, perhaps I just got lucky. I just ordered the Aleratec, it should get here today. I'm curious how it performs.

Yes. Could you please report back on your findings?

Had a chance to test out the Aleratec. First off, it doesn't strike me as overly well made. It's not bad, just seems thrown together. There are some gaps where the plastic fits together, and it's pretty bulky. The rectangular part looks to be about 1 inch square by 2 inches long. There's a red LED that shows when the unit is getting power, but it's just stuck inside the housing so that it's hard to see in bright daylight and the whole thing glows lopsidedly at night. On the other hand, it does seem to perform roughly as advertised. I haven't tested it with a multimeter, but here's what we did.
On a 10 minute drive across town, I had my N2 plugged in with Navigation and music on. My son had his Droid DNA plugged in playing a graphics intensive game. Both phones charged a few percent in that time.
On a 30 minute drive to the next town, I had the N2 running Navigation and music playing through the internal speaker. My Nexus 10 was charging from the other port. The Note started at 86% and finished at 91. On the return trip I left my note plugged in but left music and navigation off. It started at 80% and ended at 95%. There was another N2 plugged into the second socket, but I didn't check it's stats.
So all in all it does a decent job charging two devices while they are being used heavily. I think you'd have a hard time losing charge while it was plugged in. But it looks cheap and I'm not expecting it to last a real long time (though it might, who knows.) Still, I'll probably buy another one or two for those long drives when my son's Nexus 7 is chewing through games and battery, I have latitude and music running on the phone, and there are at least a couple other devices in the car needing to stay topped off. For the price, I won't be overly disappointed if I have to replace them in a few months. Hopefully we'll have better quality options by then.
Thanks for the update. My main concern is JUST my GN2 while using GPS, streaming music from Pandora while connected via BT to my head unit. That's probably the Most electrical draw I can come up with. If it charges during all that, I'm sold.

Well, supposedly, the two outputs are largely independent. So I'd compare the performance of just my GN2 on it. On the half hour drive I was using Spotify playing through the internal speaker. But I was playing a downloaded list, not streaming data. I did have wifi enabled (I just leave it on) but not bluetooth. Navigation was on with voice directions.
We're headed on a 800 mile trip tomorrow and I can have my son play games on it while it has nav and bluetooth on, see if he can figure a way to use more power than this can output, but I won't be able to get back to you on that til at least Monday. He can also stress it with his N7 and my N10 running simultaneous games. We'll see.

I'm not fond of the reviews on that one. Also, only one of the ports is 2A+. It sounds like the other two are a bit over 1A at best. For my purposes the extra slot isn't worth the added bulk if I only get one 2A slot. But everyone's needs differ.

After using the Aleratec for over a week, I'd say it's a keeper. It's kept up with my son's N7, and with my using the GN2 as gps and mobile hotspot at the same time with sporadic phone calls at the same time. It also charged my N10 nicely. I did have one time when my Blackberry curve (work phone, ick) reported that it couldn't charge, but disconnecting it and reconnecting fixed that.
Again, this doesn't strike me as a particularly high quality or well-engineered piece of equipment, but it does seem to do what it claims. For the price, I'll be ordering a couple more.

I just bought the inductive charging cover for the Droid 4 and a Nokia DT-900 charging pad. I'm loving the reality of wireless charging so far. No more searching for a charging code that's fallen on the floor when going to bed. The DT-900 is a nice charging pad and appears to charge the phone quickly. I like the fact that the plate doesn't make any noise when I place the phone down on it. My only complaint is that the phone has to be placed fairly low on the pad to properly charge. If I center the phone on the charger, it appears to charge for a few minutes, but then gives me a flashing light to indicate improper charging. This wouldn't be as big of a deal if the error was more immediate. Has any one tried any of the other charging pads out there such as the LG WCP-300 to see if there are better alternatives out there?
I am using a Ghost-100 by Insipio that i bought because my usb port broke and i haven't had time to take it apart and resolder it. It seems to work just fine for me plus it really wasn't that expensive even buying it from Verizon. I have only had it for a few days however so we will see.

I live in Hungary, too. It's not impossible, you have to check eBay quite often, as there are very few wireless charging covers are up for sale. Last one was listed about a week ago. The main problem is that it's quite expensive for us with shipping (you won't be able to buy it under 50-60 USD - 10-15000 HUF).
What other accessories you want to buy? Send me a PM, maybe I can point you in the right direction.

I live in Canada, and had small issues finding the charging pad that works as well as the battery cover that works with the charging pad.
I took the recommendations from the Verizon website and bought the Verizon/Motorola wireless charging cover, and the LG wireless charging pad.
I bought both from https://www.fusionelectronix.com/
They are located in the USA, and i called the phone number before I ordered. They answer their phones. and The person I spoke with was extremely friendly and gave me a custom deal on shipping. I had my items within 2 days and everything was perfect.

I recently have been running through USB cables and got tired of not being able to count on a steady charge overnight. So I decided to purchase the inductive charging cover from Verizon's website and a PowerBot PB1020 off of Amazon. It works great and was only around $20.

I got a Yes Digi Qi charger from Amazon (link). It works just fine with my G2. The first time I put it on it kept connecting/disconnecting the power rapidly, until I realized it has to sit up just a tad above being centered. I haven't had any problems since.
I haven't received my case yet (Incipio DualPro), so I don't know if it will work with it. I have, however, gotten it to charge through a stack of about 20 sheets of printer paper so I'm sure it'll be fine with a case.
Update: Just got my case yesterday. I can happily report that the charger works with the case. Yay!
Thanks! I will be receiving this as a gift. Hopefully it works...
www.amazon.com/Lerway-Wireless-Powe...dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
Just received two of those ... they work great !
The LED is very good to tell you if the link is good. Easy to locate the good spot.
Charge pretty quick (VZW LG G2, Nexus 7 all with covers).
Nokia DT-900 Half-off
The Nokia DT-900 is currently half-off on att.com, if anyone's interested.
http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/chargers/sku6290260.html#fbid=Qec_2FFDzlV
The Nokia's look like they are small and thick. I'd like to see some pics of the Nokia with a G2.
The Lerway looks similar to my Samsung model except it lacks the LED, which I can do without. I'd spend $20 on a Qi Charger. Can't see spending $50+ though.
DERP!
Just watched a Youtube video and realized the Nokia DT-900 Qi Charger uses a stupid barrel plug for power. FAIL. Instant fail. I travel and love being able to take 1 wall adapter, 1 MicroUSB cable, and my Qi Charging plate and it lets me Qi Charge, or charge my headphones, or tablet, controllers, etc.
Not interested in a Qi Charger that requires its own power supply. I'd rather do the LerWay or try to find another Samsung for $24 (what I paid for mine).

That's pretty cool! Let us know if the 2.1A output will achieve fast charge. I just got a power bank and even with the 2A output it slow charges.
I don't think you're getting a fast charge with Qi. I think the transfer rate is super slow which is a limitation of the current technology.

This is a receiver that is charged from a charging pad, not a charging pad itself. Not sure if that was clear....

Whoops, sorry I took so long to respond. It's definitely slower than the wired charger that came with the G2. But on the other hand, I'm in and out of my office throughout the day, so it's nice to just pop it on when I'm in and let it sip some juice. It's usually full before noon, even with me putting it on and off. I don't charge it overnight so it gets down to about 30-40% depending on my use the rest of the previous day.

Has anyone heard if the Nexus 6 will magnetically attach to the Qi chargers like the Nexus 5? I'm a little worried it won't because of the curve on the back. I'd really like to use it as a car mount.

The Nexus 5 didn't do that for *all* Qi chargers, only specific ones. Most don't have the magnetic pins to hold phones.
That being said, nobody has any idea at this point whether the Nexus 6 will...but my guess is no.
Edit, sorry, posted in wrong thread.
I asked both Google and Motorola Customer Service if the Nexus 6 supported the magnets for aligning the charger. Neither customer service was able to answer the question unfortunately, but your mileage may vary.
Google now lists support for the Nexus 6 in the Nexus Charger documentation.
Device Placement
"Nexus 6: 2.5 inches (64mm) from the bottom of the device"
https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/6073618?hl=en
This might imply it has the metal pins, but does not explicitly state that it does. But that placement doesn't seem very balanced without some form of magnetic help.

Sadly, wireless charging is just a footnote to most reviewers, especially in the US where most phones don't come with it without paying for an extra add-on item (either a case or a sticker for the inside of the phone). Most reviewers are either rushing to get the review out and didn't get said accessory, or don't own a charger so don't bother. Sad, really, because wireless charging is a feature that a lot of people would love if they knew it was there. In your car, especially, the ability to just stick your phone in the holder to both charge and secure it and use a bluetooth adapter for hands free/music playback is a REALLY nice feature. Less fiddling with wires feels like the future.

Got this from Reddit. This video shows the N6 on a Qi pad charging. From this and with Google's and Moto's pages showing Qi is supported I'm going to say that he must have had a bad unit.
I really expect to be able to use this with my airdock, ill be super dissapointed if the N6 doesnt have the metal plates for the magnets to grab....
Magnets on Nexus 6
They are either not there or are not activated by the Google qi charger from the play store like the Nexus 5 was.
One thing I will say, I have to set my n6 a bit more to the right than center to get it to connect and, more importantly, I set it on my qi pad at 11:30 the other night at 58%, woke up the next morning at 8am, 64%....... Very unsettling. Battery has been too dead every morning since to risk testing it again but my N7 charges just fine.
Is there any good wireless chargers out there that are compatible with the Xperia 1 II.

It works even with the Spigen case. Though I couldn't say how long it takes as I only use it at nighttime as a stand, plus I have a generic multi-usb plug that it's plugged in to and so it won;t be charging at it's fastest speed anyways.
Sorry not to be of any help there, someone else soon I'm sure will be of more assistance

Is there any good wireless chargers out there that are compatible with the Xperia 1 II.

What do you mean by compatible? Qi is the only wireless charging standard so any wireless charger works
Sent from my XQ-AT51 using Tapatalk
Loads of the wireless charges say Samsung compatible 10watts all other models 5watts
Or Apple compatible etc...
Use the one on the picture. It's old but does the job well. It even works with the official Sony window case.
Do we have an Official Sony OEM Wireless Charger?
I thought my eyes played a trick on me that a few weeks after the Xperia 1 II was announced in February that I saw a new wireless charger accessories in the Sony Mobile UK website. But when I check it again now, it's not there. I wonder if it was never there in the first place and my eyes played a trick on me.
I think the last wireless charger that Sony produced was the WCH20 for the XZ2. But it's said that the product is discontinued, and I find it really difficult to find one. I know I can use any qi-compatible wireless charger (like the Samsung one, which I kind of like), but I don't like having my accessories not part of the Sony ecosystem.
Does anyone know if Sony has an in-production wireless charger or have some plans to reintroduce them as well? I find it odd that they sell a phone with wireless charging capability but not complimented by the accessories needed to fully utilise that feature. Since the product page says that "Wireless charger sold separately". Now, does that mean we have to get it from somewhere else, or that Sony is going to sell their wireless charger separately?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
I bought a Yootech one off Amazon. Works well, puts in just under 3000mah.

I found one at the Sony Center (look at my previous post) but it's an older model. They are planning on bringing back the xz2 / xz3 charger but due to the pandemic the production is slow. There are some New old Stock on ebay and amazon uk
Any recommendations for a reasonably inexpensive wireless charger that charges the phone quickly?
I'm using the Pixel Stand

Virtually any Qi charger that supports over 11w charging will work fine.
Only thing is, the phone seem to get hot when wireless charging much more than when using a cable.
Tip
I use a QI stand for my XZ2 P and left the phone on there (usually at night and more) and after 18 months the battery had swollen and was pushing the screen off
New battery fitted and programmed timer fitted to the mains outlet, working out my charging patterns I have set timed on off program that limits the charging times, it has a manual override if I need it but generally don't
so it charges for 2 hours from 4am and 5 more cycles during the day of 30mins each - sometimes I turn it off depending on my usage and charge level - so far working very well
The longest period on continuous charge is 2 hours
I highly recommend this to everyone who finds themselves leaving their phone on charge for long periods

Thanks tonev!
I bought one today from Ebay, 32 euro shipping included
Should I get a 10w or a 15w QI charger?
