Please make mod for sensitivity? I want to reduce the sensitivity to make it easier to write.
Or is there any program available for that?

hi, yeah
i use ai keyboard. look it up in app store. out of 3 i found it to have most options. swiftkey was the 2nd, also has the option you want.
with ai keyb you can also change the keyboard size, and more.
i am not affiliated with them in any way, btw.
good luck

I stopped by the Verizon kiosk today and was playing with their variant of the Elf/Touch and I noticed that the screen is a lot more sensitive to using a finger for navigation (for example, touching the Task Manager or the Signal Indicator brings up the intended menu very reliably, despite their small size). Is this the result of TouchFLO software and is it possible for a Kaiser to operate with the same level of sensitivity?
From what I gathered, TouchFLO only allows for "gestures" to be recognized, usually in order to activate a Cube program. Can someone clarify?
I apologize in advance if this has been covered in another post; searching out an answer is difficult when nearly every ROM includes the word "TouchFLO" in its description.

you can increase the sensitivity of the touch screen by going into advanced config and setting the touchflo sensitivity to a higher number...i have mine set at 5000, the default is like 200, give it a try, i'm fairly certain you'll like it much better.

and you found that 5000 gives the best results or was that just an example? It is taking a soft reset every time to check if it's better.
hi
is there any way to disable the led of the hardware buttons. i know where the buttons are. i dont need a light to find them. and it looks ugly when they light up. after i used them i always wait to touch the screen until they are off.
I think neldar knows the most about this since he has done the backlight notifications mod. It would be super to have an option in the recovery to disable backlight in the buttons. They are annoying at night when using Screen filter to dim the screen, buttons are very bright in contrast to the screen.
Agreed. I would love to be able to switch them off.
Yes this is true and really anoying!
At night they are much to bright. Would love a "disable" option, too.
Is it maybe possible to dimm the buttons, too?? This would really be awesome
ok, i'm not the only one who wants that leds switched off. but isn't there anyone who has an idea how to do that
Anyone figured this out yet?
i found an app in the market called“ leds hack“. it supports samsung vibrant, but it dont works on my phone. isnt it the us-name for the sgs? maybe the rom is the problem. i'm on darkys 9.3
i tryed to find the script that controls the backlight. here: stackoverflow.com/questions/4152053/android-turn-off-key-lights i found this info:
A: The keyboard backlight can be controlled via /sys/class/leds/ keyboard-backlight/brightness. It appears that it's a simple on-off control (echoing '0' turns it off, echoing '1' or higher turns it on). For some reason, the default system backlight control stuff seems to set this to "83", but I don't know why. I can't seem to see any difference between 83 and any other number. The file is readable by anyone, but only writable by root, so you'll need root access to the phone to manipulate it this way.
can anyone tell me where i can find the file on my phone...
Has anyone found the answer?
This is honestly something that I would even pay for if a dev wanted to create a little app or mod that could do this quickly and easily for those that are not confident to make these changes on their own.
No one? :/

this doesnt exist on our android.
There is is /sys/devices/virtual/misc/melfas_touchkey/brightness
you can do
echo '1' > /sys/devices/virtual/misc/melfas_touchkey/brightness
to turn it on, but i have not found a way to turn it off permanently
Can some one bind this to light sensor? So that we can have it disabled during day and have it enabled at night??
how can i edit this files? i cant find an editor or something like that. i'd like to play around with this script?

I don't have the folder /leds. What version of android do you have?
I found this. As a new user, I can't send links to the forum, I paste the important part:
Samsung GT-I9000
s3c-keypad
- scancode = 26 (confirmed with keylayout/s3c-keypad.kl)
/sys/class/backlight/s5p_bl/brightness
drivers/input/keyboard/s3c-keypad.c
drivers/video/backlight/backlight.c
- brightness and actual_brightness 's get/set method. (actual_brightness is read only)
drivers/video/samsung/s3cfb_tl2796.c
- Samsung's implementation. MIN_BL = 30. Lower than this == black out.
Could it be useful?
Thanks
Good morning guys,
am I the only one who uses the Phone at 200dpi tabletmode with Supernote or Freenote, as described in the OP of the Stunner thread?
I think both apps are great, except that the font is way to small. I haven't found a way to increase the font size.
How do u guys use them? Only as Sketchbook?
thanks in advance
k!DDa
2 ways to do it!
Settings > Display > Font size
and
Settings > Accessibility > Large text
I am using Stunner on 200 as well anything smaller made finger navigation (particularly the soft keys - home, back etc) too cumbersome. I actually find the normal text size comfortable though.
Regards,
Josh
thanks, but that doesnt work in the supernote app^^
i mean, I need to zoom-in-function or sth similiar
Hi Guys,
If you wanna be normaly screen size (not original screen size of Htc Desire 510) than download this apk to your phone:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nomone.resolution_changer&hl=hu
NOMone Resolution Changer (its free)
Open the app and you see
"Width" "Height" "DPI"
Change Width to 720
Change Height to 1280
Change DPI to 312
and click on apply
Or second way:
Open the app
Click on "Select device template"
and choose Motorola Moto X or Htc One X
Click on apply and you done
If you dont like this sizes, dont worry, apk will restore stock sizes after 10 sec and after 1 minutes too.
I hope its helped to some people.
Good Luck to all.
Use this all the time (different app, same effect) but it can seriously eat ram depending how far up you go. While it makes stuff look prettier, it can slow down your device.
Also our aspect ratio is weird. 720x1280 causes a border effect. Use 768x1366 at 300dpi. Looks great and uses the same amount of ram.
I don't know if it's just me or not but everything seems tiny on my screen, including the HTC home, back, and recent apps button.
this does not work on my 510.
any idea why?
do i have to be rooted?

Yes.
I've done this with a different app, but now my widgets & some other stuff seem rather disproportional.
Any way to fix this?
Other than this, however. The 720P looks much better on this phone. Thanks for the tip.

UPDATE: The biggest problem so far that I'm experiencing is that I cannot use my favorite keyboard. The buttons are out of place. Too big, can't fit the space allocated. SwiftKey & TouchPal are both out.
All the resolutions dont suit it they are all too big
After changing resolution, reboot your phone. The resolution will stick but everything else will resize to normal. If it doesn't, lower your DPI. All issues regarding "stuff size" should be resolved by lower DPI. Experiment, you'll find what works for you.
But again, RAM is an issue. I've asked pattyboi to adapt Swap into his kernel so I can test out RamExpander. With Swap enabled we should see a bit of a performance boost, but it can be risky if you don't know what your doing. Until we have a Swap capable kernel (and it actually works) were stcuk with what we got. From what I've read up on it, Swap seems like a viable solution to many performance issues with the 510
Okay so I'm really puzzled about how you can just change the resolution, how does it work??? Does the screen have a resolution more than the stock 480-800? I dont understand
So, that changing resolution? Is that works at all?
I am looking for a way to increase touch sensitivity on the S6 - like you can on the S5 - Note 4 - etc.
Cant find it - am I blind or is it missing? Normally it is located under "display" but I don't see the option there - Suggestions?
I don't think it's enabled. I'll look around and see what I can find. In the mean time you can flash @ktoonsez kernel. I believe he improves things in that area.

Couldnt tell if you were making a funny or if you were serious.
What I am trying to do is have the option to use my stylus on the screen - not all the time - just sometimes - with increased touch sensitivity on the S5 you can do that - I would have thought they would have done this on the S6 -
anyone know if there is a way to be able to use Stylus on the S6?
Do you really want to increase the touch sensitivity? I actually want to decrease the touchscreen sensitivity of the S6. The touches is registering as swipe instead of single touch. Sometimes when I type fast it register as swipe. Want to know what I mean, download the app 9gagtv and try to click on the video cards to play the video.
I think the option is either gone or disabled because I couldn't find the option for it either
